Psi is a awesome attack and it works well in PvP with most secondary powers. My friend has a Psi/Dev and he has a lot of practice with it and is very good at making it work for him. Webnade, Cloaking Device, Targeting Drone, Caltrops (to unhide stalkers) is nice. You dont have to get leadership since you have targeting drone and that will free up a Power Pool and having cloaking device you will not need to get stealth power pool as well. I think he went Speed, Leaping, Fitness, and Fighting(for Tough) as his Power Pool selection. His Epic is Ice Mastery. I PvP with a Archery/Dev and if I can make that work I am sure a psi/dev is not a bad choice.

P.S. Psi/EM is the better choice.

    A dev in pvp!!!!

I was in RV on Freedom when Lighthouse made his last visit with his Elec Brute named Darkhouse. He was even invited to the team I was on. It was funny see a tidal wave of heroes jump on him everytime. It was after he made that statement about PvP that cause him to leave CoH. It is nice to see a Mod, Dev, or whatever in the PvP zone and show the support for the PvP community. We are a small group compared to the PvE community and I hope they are doing something to increase our numbers.
  3. I did an ITF with 3 Sonic/Rad Corruptors and 5 Rad/Son Defenders and we destroyed everything. At the end I was able to use Shout for over 1200 and it scourged for a total of 2400. It was one of the best ITF I did.
  4. I think I know why people play Dark/Cold for PvP. Players like the Life Drain as a heal since they lack a heal in the secondary. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried a Dark/TA corruptor? I would like the self heal in Life Drain and the debuffs in TA. I would not use in in Zone PvP, but I would use it in Arena Duels.

If they both hit its a mag 4 combined, but I hope World of confusion would help with the ones not stunned. I was able to farm (very slowly) with my Kin/Dark/Dark defender. Dark pit + Opressive gloom stacked stunned everything but the bosses. I was trying to get the same results with OG + PSW; however PSW is not a 100% chance to stun. Does anyone know if Lightning Clap (PBAoE, Foe Disorient, Knockback) from elec secondary has a 100% to stun? if so then that might work better as long as you immob them first.

    Blaster Farming?

I am gonna do this for farming... Gonna try to stun the mob with Opressive Gloom and PSW and I will kill the ones not stunned first. This build has a stun, immob, self buff and AoE damage. I havent tried it yet, but I hope it works

    Yes Plz...

I do think that since banes have access to Wide Area Web Grenade in the Arachnos Soldier Initial Power Set, they dont need Web Cocoon in the Bane Spider Training Career Track Power Sets. They should swap Web Cocoon for a small quick heal. I would rather have then get Serum, but it's a Crab power and I want the two career tracks to remain different. If someone wants a second web they can just select Mace Mastery for Web Envelope.

P.S. I do know that Web Cocoon is a single target(Hold) and Wide Area Web Grenade and Web Envelope are both targeted AoE (Immob). I dont think the AT really needs 3 powers that do -Recharge -Fly -Jump Slow.

But, once you're in your late 20's, there's this fairly natural progression and your effectiveness expands outrageously. Your only real kyptonite will, eventually, be enemy groups that don't leave corpses (Nictus, etc).
I forgot to mention that my WS is 50 already and I made him years ago. When I lvled him, I only used the Nova and Dwarf form since it was easier to use and slot. He never got a chance to use IO's when I leveled him. I did try to IO him for PvP once and it was not what I was looking for so I stripped him.
  14. Some people know me as being very pro Human Form Peacebringer and now I am looking to join the darkside and play an all human WS builds for soloing missions. I did some searching and found some old builds from Feb and March of this year. Some things have changed since then and I was wondering if anyone can throw some advice my way or post a build so I can get ideas. I did read that MF Warshade write up and it was a great read, but I was just wondering from other players what is the attack chain they use and bonuses they focused on in their builds. Thanks ahead for the help
  15. I am happy this is coming out. I know it will make PvE with VEATs a lot easier, but it will help them in PvP as well. I like to PvP with a Bane and a Fortunata and since they do not have an escape power in any of the PPP, it comes in handy to select Phase Shift. This mean on my VEATs for PvP I have Concealment, Speed, Leaping and Fitness. The AT still lacks a self heal (except for Crabs)and I always wanted Aid Self and now this will be possible. Or I can do a Widow Build (dont need a self heal much) and pick up leadership for Tactics to stack with Tactical Training: Leadership, and the Perception Proc to be able to see stalkers in hide in PvP. These ideas made me a happy man.

It's my Bane Arachnos Rifle. I made the costume on my Bane to see if it would look good. I want to make him to be a AR/Dev Blaster, Traps/AR Defender or a AR/Traps Corr. He could even be a Archery since many people hunt with that.

    2 Scrapper

Master Chief Soto: Navy Officer testing out an Prototype of a secret supersuit with Solid Energy Weapons and Ammo created to resemble a bow and arrow (a solid energy rifle was to hard to create).

This is something I am thinking of making a story on. His name is John D. Hunter and he used to hunt animals and now he hunts heroes.

Sassinak came up through the ranks of the Praetorian Police the traditional way. From street level rookie cop to working with the Seers in Pre-Crime to running homicide investigations and Special Tactics cross-training with Powers Division.

"It was the contact with Powers Division that changed her career and her life. It was discovered that she had some minor energy building and TK abilities. The TK abilities give her preternatural accuracy with ballistics. And her energy powers, while not offensively useful on their own, could provide the power supply for a prototype light powerframe and PPD Shock Gauntlets. Now, inducted into Powers Division, she serves Praetoria and Emporer Cole to the best of her abilities. She truly believes in Praetoria and wants to keep her people safe."

For her powers concept, her "Minor TK" abilities allow her to do the nifty "gun-fu" tricks like the curving bullet trajectories (like from the movie "Wanted") and the Energy generation is bio-electric, sort of like an electric eel. But not enough to be useful as an offensive power. But as a trickle source for an on-board capacitor in the suit it does just fine.

The suit provides her with light armor and power assist (For the "Ninja-Leap" affects and speed running), as well as medical nano-gel that seals wounds and keeps her alive. If she has extra reservoirs of it on-hand, she can heal any injury to the point of unconsciousness. (Greens in the inspiration tray).

Her guns are magnetic accelerators and don't fire normal bullets, but shave off slivers of a block of metal for acceleration (mini sonic booms still insure the guns are loud). Settings in the suit allow for variations in local wind speed, temperature, unexpected shocks and the like. But don't help Sass to aim.

And yes - the nanogel and the tech of the guns are cribbed concepts from Mass Effect, but it explains the in-game healing and "endless ammo" effects. ^_^ It will also help with the concept of the ammo-switching.

The Energy Manipulation powers in her secondary is just a variation on the stun gloves of the Praetorian Cops. Especially such things as the knockback and stun effects.

So anyway. Fun character and glad to be able to post her finally.

This is my favorite so far. Good Job!
