Can an All Scrapper STF be done?

It seems to me that I heard somewhere that some people had successfully completed an All Scrapper Statesman Task Force...

Anyone out there ever tried it?

Seems like it would be fairly easy until you hit the last mission and ran into Ghost Widow. And having been on a STF team with six Scrappers before, she wasn't even much of a problem.

My main concern is tanking Recluse long enough to take the towers down. What would be the best Scrapper to accomplish this? How many of what types of Inspirations would they need to succeed? And can Inspirations be stored in e-mail now so that the Scrapper could grab more if they ran out of the ones in thier tray?

I've been thinking about trying this for quite a while now and once my level 45 Katana/Dark hits 50 I think I'm going to put it together on the Guardian Server.

We have done this a few times on the Guardian server, so you will probably be able to get us to do it again.

Shield scrappers are excellent for Lord Recluse, their aura prevents him from summoning pets, OwtS is a big help as is the wedding band, and they can get to 75% defense with inspires pretty easily. Carry some greens for the 10% of the time Recluse hits.

Blue tower, red tower, yellow tower, then green tower.

Ghost widow can be handled by popping purple inspires as needed, depending on your build. The team has to be willing to buy and use inspires as needed, reds are especially helpful for the tower killers.

We did it on test with no temps, but the Guardian runs I have been on used some shivans and a nuke or two.

I've done one on Champion. Lots of fun. There's an element of skill, but it mostly comes down to good builds and common sense.

I was on one. It went fine, though it's the only STF I've been on, so I have nothing to compare to. There were some deaths during Ghost Widow, but it wasn't close to a team wipe. I forget who tanked Recluse, and with what build, and I didn't even ask about inspiration load out. I think the repairmen were bugged at the time, making it even harder, so the towers were what really took a long time. It'd probably be easier now. As I recall, we'd loaded up on temp powers in case we needed them, but didn't end up needing them, so didn't use them. Do eeeeet!

Justice has done it several times. I tend to do lots of "themed" TFs, and I've done a couple all Scr STF and 1 MoSTF sucessfully on Justice. For the regular STFs with all Scrappers, just took a little prep work. With some shivans, nukes, and HVAs temps, it's a piece of cake.

The MoSTF with all scrappers though was a bit more brutal. If you're lucky enough to have someone with flight and ranged attack (and decent recharge), then you can 'stick' Recluse in a corner while the rest take out the pylons. Only tip is make sure to keep an eye on him and to scatter should Recluse decide to come take a swipe at the pylon team. After the pylons, we jumped him as one. Just make sure you have a hearty scrapper tank him. I did it on my MA/SD. It was more about the aggro (taunt-ability) while the others watched where they stood (remember not to stand in front or behind Recluse).

I think on all 3 successful runs, it helped that 6 out of the 8 were people I usually run TFs with and we all communicate well via skyppe or in team chat. Think that's something that helps regardless what kind of tf you run.

As you can see there was a lot of dying.

Our Shield Defense Scrapper tanked Recluse for us, I believe.

I'm looking forward to all scrapper Lord Recluse Strike Forces being ran.

There needs to be a round two where we get a better time and less deaths.

This time I will be sure to count exactly how many times I die.

There were 14 deaths iirc, that not my pic, borrowed it from Uzzi and it was almost a year ago, we waited until the repairmen bug was fixed. I think the completion time was about 90 min but can't remember for sure, maybe Cynic or New Dawn remember it.

Dude...you died 121 times thats terrible. and sheild scrappers get destroyed in a STF considering recluse has capped To-Hit and will wipe you clean of the floor. if you want to do this with all scrappers make sure its not a master run. and make sure your all setted out.
