I'm running out of things to say.

When I joined originally, a friend of mine was in a supergroup on Champion (Sparkle Motion, an LGBT-friendly group), and I joined Champion to team with him and join that SG. I've made forays onto other servers - Freedom, Guardian, Justice, Victory, and Virtue - but all of my best characters and best times have been on Champion.

Most recently, I have to say I really appreciate Celestial Lord, Cherry Cupcakes, and Amygdala for running events (Hamidon and Mothership raids, for example), and the people I did iTrials with last Spring. I hope to get a few more iTrials in before the lights go out - I still haven't done Underground or Magisterium, and I still don't have my Hybrid slot unlocked.

Going to miss Champion a lot, though.

This has always been my favorite subforum here. I haven't participated as much recently as I did in years past, but most of the people I know best in this game I met in this forum.

I remember back before issue 1 and after the purple patch, when the talk of the day was that scrappers were terrible. Come a long way since then.

Anyway, I can't even remember everyone. The_Confessor left long ago. EvilGeko and Stupid_Fanboy are still around. I've had arguments with BillZBubba but I think most of my interactions with him were positive. I regret the last exchanges I had with him, if I remember them correctly. Arcanaville's always been good to have around, even though I've had my arguments with her. I remember when she took the time to test Lucks after I kept insisting there was something wrong with them and found out they were not working as advertised. I remember my persistent belief (and not just mine) that dark melee had accuracy issues, and it turned out to be something as simple as "different typed defenses stacked." Which wasn't a problem unique to dark melee, but I think explained the issue well.

I remember campaigning for dark armor to have stacking shields. I remember Super Reflexes being bad, then being good, then being bad, then being good. I actually like it now, although I haven't played my TW/SR brute in months.

I remember "Don't worry regen scrappers." I remember getting to 16 on my spines/regen and finding that just having status protection alone was practically god mode compared to dark armor. And I remember using superspeed to kite so I could buy time to use reconstruction while fighting packs of villains. I also remember getting to level 30 and suddenly being able to survive nearly everything.

I remember the neverending feuds with the blaster forum over who was overpowered and who needed a nerf. Ah, City of Blasters. Those first few months with broken smoke grenade probably did more damage to blaster balance than anything since.

Anyway, for those who are still here - thank you for the guides, the discussions, the arguments, and everything else.

I don't blame Arenanet, and I'll still play the first Guild Wars. Might buy the second with all the money I save not buying Paragon points.

I am not happy with NCSoft, but I don't want to spite Arenanet.

I'm screenshotting all of my characters front and back, saving costume codes (although I don't know how to demo edit, so eh), and I may translate these characters into other work, or other games, or something.

One thing I will say about CoH is that the way primary/secondary powersets worked force me to think about character and power concepts in ways that wasn't typical for me before. Restrictions like those can encourage more creativity, I think.

Might be worthwhile to commission some art based on the screenshots.

I want to run Underground and Magisterium, as I haven't done those yet. I'd like to unlock Hybrid on my oldest character, who at least has t3 in all the other incarnate slots.

There are a lot of things I want to do so my characters are situated in a way that feels right to me.

Not going to do The Secret World in the near future. Maybe later.

I'm going to CO for a bit after the servers here shut down. It's...still fun. It ain't the same, but I like it more than DCUO, and I want a game where I can customize the living hell out of my characters.

I haven't been playing Diablo III much lately, but my ID there is Ashleigh#1834, and of course anyone playing WoW or Starcraft II can reach me that way as well.

I was looking forward to the issue 24 changes.

I'ma run around on the beta server with my ice/energy blaster, though.

I'll probably go to CO for my superhero fix. It's not the best game, but it really is fun.

I don't know yet if I'll get Guild Wars 2.

I don't want Arenanet to fail, though. At least one of the employees there is someone I used to know, and I don't want her or her coworkers to go through this too. Plus, I still like the first Guild Wars.

Yeah, I want to move one of my villains over to hero or vigilante. Feels better for the character.

I hope you don't lose access to anything.

I run out on November 2nd.

I guess I don't have to worry about recalibrating my billing date so it falls after the first anymore.

Glad to hear from CuppaJo. I remember finding him managing the Tabula Rasa forum during beta and catching up on things. I remember when he had my back when another poster on this forum was net stalking me.

I also remember making his blaster faceplant during a test server event.

Thank you, Freitag. The community team here has been pretty great for a long time. I mean, there were rough spots here and there (and one big disagreement I had with Lighthouse) but I think I may miss the forum more than the game.
