    To the players who farm the game for money, yeah, this is very farmable. They are able to set up whatever they are doing and go afk and earn them. It may not be as easy as it was before the newer changes to the pvp reward system, but its definately farmable and will be farmed.

    See, before the players could manipulate the odds on getting a reward, now the devs have removed the ability to manipulate the chances in getting a reward by slowing down the kill pace when it comes to a single target. Its based off of luck now moreso than anything else.

    Yeah, you could and can still increase the chance of a drop, but you need a lot of people to coordinate something like this. And I doubt that will happen. At least not to the extent to equal what the previous system use to reward anyway.

    You're stuck in a farm mentality. Forget about farming for a second and think about zone pvp. Before, you had a 10 minute timer that reset all the [censored] time. Now you have a 5 minute timer that triggers ONLY on kills and doesn't reset. Sounds like a significantly increased drop rate for people who don't farm.

    Even putting farming aside, the old system with the 10 minute timer still allowed you to defeat someone over and over again, regardless of reputation until you got a recipe. That 10 minute timer did not start until you was awarded the recipe.

    Now with the new system, you kill someone 1 time and have to wait 5 minutes no matter if you received a recipe or not.

    So please tell me how the hell the new system is better than the old one.

    Better yet, let me know when you fill your recipe storage of 20 recipes up, in under 4-1/2 hours, then I will agree with you.

    I doubt they will drop much. Even standing around and waiting every 5 minutes in a farm situation, the drop rate is much lower than what the system was when it was introduced.

    Comparing the old way they were famred to now, its still going to be far and few on the market.

    Old way, you could get 700+ kills a hour and got 1-3 drops per hour

    The new system, 11 kills per hour, I doubt very seriously that you will get 1-3 recipes per hour with the new system.

    So yeah, drops will be very rare. And I will continue to make a dump load off of them.

    It is fairly complicated but they do drop in the arena. Once the drop rate is updated with the version currently on the test server then you should see the drops come back.

    Please show me where the devs mentioned they are upping the drop rates on the PVP IOs, I would love to see this.

    People keep saying they fixed the drop rate, they didn't fix the rate at which they drop. They changed the way they are awarded due to the 5 minute timer, and then the timer not resetting upon being defeated by the same person again. But this doesn't change anything, you still get a single chance for a recipe when you defeat someone. Then you have to wait 5 minutes to get another single chance.

    So if you think this fix will increase the drop rates, you are wrong. Again, if a red name posted something saying they are increasing the drop rates I would love to see that post.

    Its not very useful. If by 63 months, you don't know the zones enough to even care about the FOW, then maybe it will be useful, but for me, its a useless power.

    The only reason it'll be any good for me, is if new zones are introduced and then I can use the power, but for what we have now, nah, won't help much.

    But even still its a nifty concept and I'm sure I will make use of it.

    You must be using a different market than me. There's MORE receipes on the market now than when that completely idiotic merits system was released.

    Umm, yeah the market may have a ton of level 50 recipes. But try looking in the 20-35 range, its damn near dry. Why? because everyone is getting Powerleveld all the way to 50 and not doing any real content to get the mid level drops.

    So yeah, my statement still stands.

    Yeah this is exactly what I'm seeing on Pinnacle now in broadcast.

    How do I slot this? How do I slot that?
    Why are my circle things with numbers red and I can't use them?
    When do I get my own mission?
    Are there any other zones in the game?

    Its a damn joke and this game has become a joke since the AE system. So flame me all ya want, you all know deep down its true.

    All you see is people forming teams for AE farms, I very rarely see TFs starting up, but they do happen. You just have to be lucky enough to find the person forming up a TF through all the AE Farm teams forming in the global channels.

    I was on a pug team today and 4 of the members, didn't have any enhancements, and didn't know jack about their characters, they were no help to me or the rest of the team so I quit and formed my own team. Inviting people I knew. Which I think pugs will never happen with me again unless I know the people I'm teaming with. Grant it, I run into these type of players every so often, but since the AE system, these "Totally PL'ed Noobs" are appearing more and more each day and at a rapid pace.

    I really hope the devs do something about all of this, this game was once a great game and is turning for the worst in a sharp and fast manner. I know a lot of people use the AE system the correct way and enjoy it each and everyday, so these people will defend the system to the end, but the system seriously needs some help and love by the devs.

    And until this is corrected, I don't see anything getting better in the future of this game.

    Things that I think should be done:

    1. Don't allow custom groups that don't contain Minions, Lts and Bosses. At least 1 enemy per rank. This will eliminate Boss Farms and Lt farms.

    2. Award only half xp. The AE system was designed to allow us Publish and Share our stories. It wasn't given to us to Powerlevel as we see people have been doing.

    COmpared to the old drop rate system, hell no, you could have 20 people standing still and killing them every 5 minutes and still not come close to achieving the amount of kills you could with the old system.

    So yeah, the new system will yield rewards based off of your State Lottery system. you will be lucky if you ever see one drop on you again like they use to. I'm betting you could try farming this for 3 hours and not get one.

    Well considering before you could keep killing each other until you did get a drop and then wait 10 minutes for the cool down timer, it will be far and few earned when you can only kill the same target once per every 5 minutes since the reward is now based off of the Reputation timer now.

    Before you could kill someone 100-150 times and possibly earn 1-3 recipes, now you can only get 4 kills per 30 minutes in the arena, so as you can see your chances to earn a recipes have been drastically cut to a very slim chance to earn one now.

    Since when does pic quality matter, I lowered it as low as I could get it so slower connections could view it. Not all of us can load a 1 mb file in a matter of seconds

    What they should do is make them available to be bought somewhere ... increase supply = decreased profit = less farming. Only way to stop farming is to make it not as profitable.

    A few ways to do this would be:
    [*] Bounty System: Allow us to earn and save bounty when loggin off the game or moving to another zone. Once we achieve a certain amount of bounty, we can use the bounty to purchase the PvP IOs. This will entice people to PvP.
    [*] Reputation: Increase reputation higher than 400 and allow us to earn and save reputation when loggin off or moving to another zone. Once a certain reuptation is achieved we can turn in the reputation for PvP IOs.

    This is just 2 ways to allow us to purchase them through PvP. I'm sure others may have some suggestions as well.

    After following the previoes instructions here, also do this...


    Go to your desktop and right click the "My Computer' icon.
    Go to Properties.
    Go to the Advanced Tab.
    Look at the Performance section and click Settings.
    Go to the advanced Tab.

    Under the Processor Scheduling check the Background Services radio button and then click Apply then click Ok, reboot your machine and give it a shot.

    This will normally correct this issue you are having. This is basically telling windows to split the processor resources between both instances of your game.

    Providing you have enough Ram and CPU power, you should be fine after making this change.

    By comparing a single attack it doesn't look like much. But when you look at DPS, the blaster does a helluva lot more damage output than a tank ever could. Not to mention the tank need to be in melee as where a blaster does not.

    Tanks HP: 1874, 3212 capped
    Blaster HP: 1204, 1606 capped

    So even if both were running 50% resist due to DR, tanks at HP cap still have twice the effective hitpoints. That's also not counting any Regen bonuses, since tanks would be regen'ing twice the hitpoints.

    With the damage output a blaster has, the extra hp the tanker has won't make a difference to the blaster. I've fought many brutes and a few tankers and my blaster has had no problems.

    Well it depends on what tanker you are speaking of, you guys may want to check that, because my Fire tank and my WP tanker have less than my blaster. My blaster even has better resist to Fire/Cold/Energy/Neg Energy well not on Fire compared to my Fire tanker, but the rest he has better resist.

    And your point? So does every other AT in this game. But if you mean Tanks have more HP, then big deal, the blaster puts out 3 times as much damage as a tank could ever do, so that little bit of HP won't mean a thing to a blaster.

    All tanks are in pvp is a squishy with extra hp.
