Click the following icon for each other post you want to quote in your thread, in the order you want the quotes to appear. They will turn
    red when enabled.

When you are done choosing the quotes and the order, then click the "Quote" button on the last post you want quote (it doesn't matter if the Multi-quote button on that last one is red or not).

Which doesn't mean the bug will get noticed, hence the 'disclaimer' at the top of the page.

This is NOT a forum where official technical/QA support is available. To report a bug use the /bug command in game.

Are you saying that the same login/pass that you successfully use to get into the game is what you used to get your husband's forum account signed up?

If that is the case, then did you try your husbands game login/pass to see if that grants you access to your forum account?

    Yes that should be sufficient.

I noticed the driver fix, fixed things that were messing up in my BF2142 game, but no fix to COH. Should I uninstall, reinstall COH?
To be honest, I've never seen a reinstall of CoH fix graphical issues. If the "Verifying Files" feature doesn't fix it then usually there's little else that can be done. So no, I wouldn't do that.

One thought though. Did you actually uninstall the Window's Update that started all of this?

You should be cleaning the drivers off completely. Then Window's can't futz things up by restoring a previous version. Download and use Driver Sweeper (link in my signature).
    1. Use the official uninstaller(s) of the driver(s) you want to uninstall.
    2. Reboot your PC in Safe Mode. Make sure you logon as Administrator.
    3. Run Driver Sweeper and select what to clean.
    4. Reboot normally and install the new drivers.
Repeat those steps each time you want to install new drivers.

The main problem I have is I'm okay with seeing the images, but I DON'T want to be stuck either seeing all animated GIFs or none (using ESC in IE for example). We really should have the option of being able set an on/off preference for animated GIFs for each of the image locations. However if that is not possible, then IMO signature images should NOT play animated GIFs.

If not, we'll start seeing things like this... and then the screaming will really start.

That's because the old image size was 80x80 and the new one is 100x100. Old images are stretched to fit the new size.

That's why new Avatar has the inner 'matting', so I wouldn't have to find my original image and recrop for the new size.

It was in the same place before, but with the new forum design the main category folders no longer expand to show the sub folders.

It's not the same as "View All", but it's certainly better than the default.
  16. Does anyone else think this is a bad idea? Players that don't know differently are going to look at the list of choices and pick the category which makes the most sense... Player Help.

IMO, Technical Issues & Bugs should really be moved to the Player Help catagory and be put at the top of the list.

I would like to see a screenshot of what you are talking about then. I have checked both Ticket Vendors in Atlas Park and neither have any common IO options that I can see.

[/ QUOTE ]Common IOs on the ticket vendor... in Atlas Park.

Remember, you have to set your level to a multiple of 5 (because common IOs only drop on multiples of 5).

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ...

Well then. Low priority fix it stays it would seem.

Though, they really need to change that interface to show the highest valid IO recipe for the current character level. That is about as un-intuitive as they can get.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
No, they are available. You can buy level 10, 15, 20, etc IO recipes at the ticket vendor. You can also of course roll for the salvage. I just checked right now. I honestly never realized you couldn't buy those because I'd just go with IOs.

Can't you use Tickets to buy the common IOs in place of the DOs?

If there's a workaround... then its priority drops.

    [/ QUOTE ]
No, that is not available. If we could use tickets to purchase common IO recipes or common IO's already crafted then yes I would see the missing DO's as a lesser priority. However as it stands, characters level 12-21 using AE are stuck trading their tickets for Training Enhancements.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
Um... it doesn't work like you think it works.

When something's on the Known List, it's on their list of things-to-fix and there are any number of reasons why it's not fixed immediately.

First, they have to find out why it's bugged. Then find a solution. Then code a solution. Then test it. And this process can fail at any point along the way putting them back to square one.

The other issue is prioritization. The above process requires resources, namely, the time of a developer. The time of a developer is already scheduled to create new things in the game. Every time the time of a developer is shunted away from developing new things to fix a bug, then the development cycle of the game is slowed down. And so, bugs themselves are prioritized ("Hmmm, find out why some DOs are missing from the Ticket Vendor or get the next Issue out in time... which should we do? Hmmm....").

And so, bugs are prioritized. The more showstopping they are, or the more they affect gameplay, or the more they effect a larger number of players, the higher on the list they go. Minor inconveniences go to the bottom of the list.

Yes, they schedule time to fix bugs, but the bigger bugs get fixed first, and if they occupy most of the budgeted fix-it time, then the lower priority bugs get put off to the next fix-it window.

And so, if you think that the long turnaround time to getting this very minor bug fixed is a sign that provides little comfort, then your expectations of the development cycle are askew.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I am quite aware of the long process of correcting bugs. The problem is that the Devs would seem to share your view that this is a minor bug.

AE is billed as a place where one can level from 1-50 solely on AE content. That means that the Architect Reward System needs to provide access to the same range of items that one would normally have access to outside of AE.

Somehow I doubt you would call this a minor bug if all of the DO stores suddenly did not have those same 8 DO's available.

As we are coming up on 4 months with a rather glaring oversight, that provides little comfort.
