Sure, give it a try. If there are any big quirks you always have a fall back plan.

If the source is accurate, the current figure is 127,287.

I'm not certain about this, but I think Smoke Grenade is like Taunt in that a to-hit check is required against players but not critters.

Here are the specs, but we will still need a CohHelper report to see exactly what graphics device you have. Link is in my signature.

I... have changed my text input box to something like 600x400 pixels instead of the standard tiny one.
[/ QUOTE ]
yeah tried that and got a big at "invalid text area" error.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's because 600 and 400 are not valid entries for changing the size of the Post box. I use the following numbers.
TextArea columns?
106
TextArea rows?
20 -
This is a known issue with no ETA for a fix.

Any more input?

Not until we see the previously requested reports. -
That finding was previously discussed here.

This topic was already discussed here.

I think the reason players get confused is because for the last part of Doc Delilah's The Buried Past, she sends you to talk to Jim Tremblor again. It is while talking to him that Entrusted with the Secret is awarded.

Ambushes tend to 'break' the rules of stealth. The only way to avoid being 'seen' is have somebody else closer to their spawn point.

Time bomb is too annoying to use, because it takes too long to go off.
[/ QUOTE ]
21 seconds is too long for Nuke class damage? Also, Time Bomb gives a whopping 52.8% Defiance for 15 seconds (which I think is the largest single Defiance boost in the game).
Granted, it can be more troublesome in teams, but it is still a very worthy power, IMO. -

Finding someone else on the other side to trade with...to me, that's actually going outside the system. I admit that's a matter of opinion, though. Clearly how I define things differs from how you (or most people) define it, so it's quite right for you to point that out.
Note that I'm not saying the hero/villain economies should be separate. In fact personally I support merging the markets - but that's a different debate entirely, and not what I was getting at.
[/ QUOTE ]
Okay I see where you were coming from. A little too often I see 'opinion ping pong' as in this thread. Still I was a bit too feisty in my response.

(Also: I don't think Smurphy does the inf transfer thing anymore - his sig says the service is 'suspended due to apathy'.)
[/ QUOTE ]
I hadn't even noticed that change. Hopefully he can refer new 'clients' to others currently doing it. -

Well, currently there's no cross-side transfer of any kind.
[/ QUOTE ]
That is completely FALSE.
There are a number of players that transfer influence/infamy for little more than auction fees. I recommend @Smurphy.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's not a cross-side transfer of the same resources, that's exchanging stuff on one side for stuff on another. It's not the same stuff that's going over.
[/ QUOTE ]
Then maybe you should have said that in your previous post.
My response to your vague post was quite valid, and IMO quite necessary to clear up any confusion for those that don't even know who to contact for these services.

Since when? Cloaking Device suppressed as soon as you activated Trip Mine or Time Bomb the last I checked, but it's been quite awhile since I've logged my Elec/Dev into the game and tried any toe-bombing.
[/ QUOTE ]
Since at the very least I13 when I got my first Devices Blaster set up with Cloaking Device, Trip Mine and a Stealth Proc. I stealth bomb all the time without being detected.
I haven't gotten to the point of adding Time Bomb to the menu yet, but I'm sure much more destructive hilarity will ensue. -

Also, as I said before, what if an Empath who has developed his abilities further ends up going mad? What if feeling everyone's emotions overwhelms the person's brain driving him/her insane? Then at the same time, the person retaliates by attacking/twisting the emotions of those around him? It is theoretically possible for an Empath to be a villain if the person is able to control the emotions of others.
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe that is precisely what Pain Domination is. They are the antithesis of Empathy. IMO, fallen Empaths would become Pain Doms, as fallen Jedi become Dark Jedi.
If Castle were to add the ability for Villains to be Empaths I would be very, very disappointed. -
I might be completely wrong, but it is my understanding that capacitors are moreso for preventing current surges rather than maintaining a steady current. If that is true, I think a voltage regulator is what is required.
-
[ QUOTE ]
The power of Empathy is the ability to sense and manipulate the emotions of other people psionically.
[/ QUOTE ]
That is complete hooey. The power Empathy and the even the definition of the word "empathy" has nothing to do with the manipulation of emotions.
As for any psionic involvement, please show me even one example that Empathy has anything to do with Psionic powers. -
[ QUOTE ]
It does not make sense. Many villains believe they are good guys you know? Like nazis surely thought of themselve as the good guys during the WW2 back then.
[/ QUOTE ]
The Nazis, and the majority of Villains I've seen have the attitude of Might is Right. In other words. I'm powerful enough to take whatever I want.
That very attitude precludes the possibility of empathy. -
I was mainly pointing out that you were sampling two different pets, which may or may not have the same resists.
Here's an example of pets that don't match up. The Oni has huge Fire resistance and significant Smashing and Lethal resistance, while the Jounin and Genin don't.
