I'm glad you reconnected with some old friends Stoner. I hope you have lots of fun with them.

I tend to skip the first one I get every three days
-
I have wanted to ride on top of the cars since I got here too.
-
Thats too bad. Now get those NUkes, grab some new Shivans, dig out your Wolves, rent a robot from Vanguard and get back at it please.

Fire Controllers are a great deal of fun. Depending upon your secondary and your play style they can be slow or fast.
It doesn't really take off though until you get your Imps at level 32.
I think I have have tried them all now, except for /Force Field and am never disapointed.
The two I have at 50 /Emp and /Rad and completely different and worth the effort.
Whether /Kin is Farmer Hype or not I really couldn't tell you. They are tough and can do a lot of damage.
At the lower levels Fire Controllers are slowish if you solo but still entertaining. My /Trick Arrow is somewhere in the mid twenties now. She can't kill very quickly yet but there is nothing funnier then watching her lock down pretty much everything in the room. When I get my Imps they will feast. -
Quote:This is not true. I took my Claws/Fire Brute through the arc and it was there. The blueside demon farm was removed from the game a while ago; Harvey will not offer the mission anymore. Either you have the mission on an old toon, or you're SOL. Protip: if you switch alignments to villain on a toon that has the demon farm, you can't get it back when you return to blueside.

Quote:That is the best explanation I have seen. Thank you very much. The idea here is that if you go to the Rogue Isles as a Vigilante, you're originally there to stop villains. With a corrupt legal system in the Rogue Isles and next to no heroes to call you out on your methods, you slowly adjust to the Rogue Isles way of handling things.
In other words, the reason they're not full-on villain tips is because you're on the slippery slope of doing bad things for the right reasons, until you just do bad things because that's how the Rogue Isles work. -
Oh just come play on Justice. Silly rules need not apply.

I have three hundred and eighty and I play....no wait. Thats lie.
Play what you have fun with Nyx. Both my Empathy/Sonic Defender and my Fire/Empathy Controller are tough. Great fun on teams and solo. -
Quote:It never ceases to amaze me how some people get so bent out of shape by the way other people play this game.
I agree with Nord, Uber and others who suggested having an option for everyone to anonymously vote to opt-out of cutscenes. Most of the cutscenes in the game don't bother me, but Dr. Aeon can get tedious after a few viewings. Even just editing the part where he names each Villain-in-waiting down to a simple line of naming them instead of name-show-name-show-name-show-name-show would do wonders for this particular cutscene.
If I can leave my computer, take a bio break, mix a rum and coke in the kitchen and make it back to the computer before the cutscene is finished... yah, it might be too long. After 100+ viewings? Definitely too long.
You could practice making different drinks. Whiskey Sours are yummy. -

Quote:Well maybe then we need the option that if the whole team agrees then the cut scene can be made to go away.I think, you would change your mind after seeing these cutscenes hundreds times
To change it wouldn't be fair to the heroes who have never had the chance to giggle at it.
I had totally forgotten about it and it made me laugh. -
I didn't read all of the thread but I will probably be the one person that is ok with waiting.
Why you might ask?
Well?
Come along now. Someone has to ask.
Well I 'll tell you why anyways.
You all had to wait so why shouldn't we? -
The trick to finding non AE teams is to wander around in the different zones.
AFter level 5 The Hollows and Kings Row open up to you.
Join some teams or make your own. Find some like minded friends and you are off and running.
I live on Justice and rarely hear the spamming of AE Farms when I wander through Atlas.
I always feel bad for the people that stumble across our great game during the height of an AE exploit explosion. Do not lose faith though. There are great teams everywhere in the City or at least that has been my experience. Occasionally it just takes a bit of time to find them though.
Oh yeah, before I forget. There are in fact three idiot people playing as well. I think they probably vary from person to person though. Avoid them at all costs. Who they are, well that is up to you to decide. Heck. I bet to some I am one of the three idiot people. Not much I can do about that.
Oh yeah, before I forget (part 2). Welcome to the City. It is a glorious place to spend some time.
HeeHee. Just noticed you have been here since 2005. I guess I should have said I'm glad you have stayed this long and I hope you continue to enjoy yourself. -
Personally I just have a bunch of different costumes saved and I switch when the mood strikes me.
-
Why does it have to be red though? Why not Orange with big Gold stars.
-
Yeah I've done that a few times. I'm pretty sure just restarting the game will fix the problem.

Wow.
I didn't know Stan Lee was a fruit fly.
