Dropping the mission doesn't always give you the special power though.

I spent a few hours last week with a pair of new players, taking them from zone to zone to see the sights, gave them salvage for the extra costume slot and alternating SKing so they could stand a chance in Croatoa. Was fun.

Basaes are working as wel as they usualy do.

I kind of like it when my cat slumps down on my mouse. I think she knows what it is called.

I thought I would love Elec/Elec blasters as well. SO much so that I am on attempt number 4 I think, or maybe it is 5. My problem is the same as the OPs. Unlike every other blaster I have tried things are simply too tough.

My last one is up to lvl 32 I think but honestly she won't be going much further. Not sure what it is with the set, maybe it just isn't meant to be for some people.

That being said, keep plugging away. Lots of people I know have and love their 50s. Just sad I never get to feel the love on this one myself.

I think mine might qualify as B-Monster Movie Material. It is called Behind the Painted Smile. Arc #11529, Sewer Creatures are on a rampage. If this doesn't fit your criteria I am sorry. BUt anyone else looking for something story based may enjoy it.

See, thats the problem here,

Most farmers arent asking to abuse the content, only a very small fraction, who the rest don't like anyhow. Theyre asking very reasonably for their playstyle, which tends to favor repeatable missions filled with monsters, to not be treated like its ruining the game. Most farmers agreed that comm officers needed to die a horrible death. Most farmers don't want to burn this game into the ground, but they don't want to play your "masterpieces of arc-ish literature" either.

But if you asked the forum's opinion the very second you so much as run a Katie Hannon/ITF/Whathaveyou for a quick level up or two, your playstyle is wrong, evil, and needs to die in the fiery pits of hell because you don't play like them.

I ran all the Croatoa arcs just to unlock katie. Did I enjoy the arcs? Yes. Do i deserve to be villainized, have my characters deleted and be forcibly ejected from the game forever because between bouts of roleplaying and soloing AE arcs I enjoy a speedran Katie or ITF or even an AE farm for quick exp and/or loot? Apparently so if you ask most of the most vocal on the forum.

That was well spoken and thought out. Never will I look at the Farmers the same way now. I can see there point of view. I find farming much too boring, but have done enough to know where I stand on the subject.

I know somewhere someone will say that the Farmer's cause inflation. I agree, 200 mill for a Purp is a lot. But we all have a farm of some kind. Be it the ITF, solo Posi's or PvP for Recipes, there is no real difference.

I do play this game because I love the feeling I get from saving the world. Though when it is time to get a big influx of influence, I know where I can get it and probabbly have fun too. But I think so do you.

Well now. I would probabbly find that pretty insulting if I knew you had run my arc. #11529 has a nice little story line and some custom baddies. It may not be the best in the world but people seem to enjoy it.

If your looking for something specific try searching by tags. SFMA=Story Focussed MA HFMA=HUmour Focusees. There is a pinned post at the top of this section. Check it out, perhaps it will help you alleviiate some of your MA dissapointment.

Or you could always just make your own. This is why the system was set up in the first place.

This actually sounds good to me. It would be like running into the Mastermind's Death Trap on the way to capture him. It would be Epic and Classical. Bring on the Death Trap devices please.

Yeah, I had this issue too. On one arc I simply made each hostage their own little 'goal'(or whatever it is called.) Not only could I have different people I got diferent dialogue.

On the other arc I simply accepted having them all be the same civilain.

If there is another option I am not sure.

Yeah, I had that happen in a cave map of mine. Last arc, 1 object. Numerous runs and noone was able to complete
In the end I made the object non-required for completion. It fit the story and I thought it might actually show up one day.

I vote you set it loose and see what happens. You will get the feedback you need, and can tweak as you wish.

Well, you could play one of my two. Neither ar Farms and both people seem to enjoy, well a few anyways.

Thank you all for giving us a fantastic tool. I live in MA now, no longer having to check to see if a shiny Purple dropped. It's all about the story again. Best of all, now I get to help create that story.

SO I tried that but it didn't wotk for me. Any other suggestions?

SO I wanted to edit one of my arcs that was already published so I pushed the edit button, modified, and then republished.
The problem is that when it republishes the changes I have made do not appear. I repeated the process to make sure I'm not totally stupid (yes that is debatable) but the same thing happened.

Am I missing something simple or is this a known issue?

Please help as I am considering rebuilding the entire arc.

I can think of two things: one, you somehow put them in the wrong folder (do you have more than one install folder?), or two, you have search parameters enabled when you switch over to the "My Creations" tab. For example, I had been searching for items with no ratings, and when I left that enabled for "My Creations" nothing showed up... which is weird and not really desirable, but at least understandable once you know what's going on.

Hmmm. No my ratings are all set to the normal one in game so it is not that.
I only have one install folder which does include a section for the 3 Player Made Souveneirs I have already received.
ANy other suggestions? The world really needs to see the Weird Tale of Dr Weare. Well maybe not but you never know.

EDIT : Well I figured my problem out. Somehow I created a SubFolder(if that makes sense) within the main one. I dragged each and every critter and mission up to the main one and it all worked out. I'm sure it wasn't the easiest solution but much easier then trying to recreate my Baddies.
