    Badge: Bard
    Mission: N/A

    Bug Description:
I have earned Bard badge twice, earned it once on my Hero badger once on my Villain badger. I also have it just from it being global on about 7 other toons.

But it seems like the badge has some sort of a timing bug where the badge is global for a day or two then it just stops appearing when you log in a new toon with it.

I went through this before which is why I have actually earned it twice, got it on my hero badger then it stopped appearing then I decided to get it again on my villain badger. Now it isn't appearing again.

When you're lagging like I was the other night? Yes.

Also bear in mind that this is a major QoL suggestion for people on the more crowded servers who may wish to avoid the "load everyone standing under Atlas' crotch" lag you get on Virtue or Freedom.

Need I make a double post?
  3. Travel is too easy. Period. You have...

<ul type="square">[*]Sprint[*]Travel Powers (Super Speed, Teleport, Super Jump, Fly)[*]Mission Teleporters[*]Base Teleporters[*]O-Portals used as a travel hub[*]Pocket D Teleporter[*]Pocket D - Used as a travel hub[*]Using Ouroboros to start an arc then teleport to contact[*]Rikti War Zone - Use as a travel hub[*]Wentworths/Black Market Teleporters[*]Temp Travels (Raptor Packs, Zero-G Packs, Temp teleport)[*]Purchasable Jetpack for $5 a month[*]You can use Self Destruct as a makeshift Base Teleporter - No debt required[*]Green Line[*]Yellow Line[*]Ferries[*]Coalition Bases if you don't have teleport beacons, if you don't have coalitions, try getting one...[*]Might be something I missed... *insert here*[/list]
And now you want a cell phone for a contact in Atlas Park? Which itself is one of the easiest zones to get to? I'd rather get Hami's number so that I can call him up and tell him to spawn in The Hive.
  4. Just read this, sign it, and stop your whining. I think Ultra Flight would be way better.
  5. Not for this. Travel is easy ever since i10 and i11, no need for phone any more since you can use your super powers and time travel to be there in no time. Cellphones are for civilians.

It is kind of like this...
  6. [ QUOTE ]
The problem I see with ultra flight, and especially ultra speed is, it will be much easier to get stuck, i.e. much harder to control. Flight not so much, but I can't imagine running around Sharkhead at ultra-speed very easily unless you use it soley to run on water, and then you've probably added so much transit time vs a straight line that why bother?

As for TP, I would love a power that allowed me to teleport to any location I'd already uncovered on an indoor map. If that would be too powerful, you could add an uninterruptable casting time of 3 seconds or so to it to prevent you from too easily escaping a fight that's going badly.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well he just said it would be an autorun lock-on, not that you couldn't move left, right, turn, and jump.
  7. I like all of these suggestions. They would be a great addition. I want Ultra Flight, how slow flight is, is the only reason I don't take it. And as for Teleport, I guess I'm just too lazy for all the clicks and too lazy for use the shift+lclick combo.

I think the Ultra Speed would be awsome too, the running up walls thing I hope would be possible but it is likely that it isn't with out physics engine.

Combat teleport would be nice, I hate being on my stone brute and I accidentally tp past the enemy and the spot me as I franticly turn around and try tping back.

    No.

The tutorial takes about 20 seconds to complete without much lagging. At least the Invention tutorial assigns you a real mission.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, they shouldn't have badges [u]for just running around and clicking things.[u]

    [/ QUOTE ]

That there makes me wonder if you have seen the list of issue 14 badges. They in fact do have about 12 badges that have to do with "just running around and clicking things" and a lot of other silly ones too, like getting inspiration drops...
  9. This is my first time hearing about it too. And I've never heard of someones account getting hacked because of viruses or keyloggers, come to think of it never heard of a game account being hacked except on those browser games.
  10. ...the world stopped turning... j/k

I joined back in i8 just about 2 weeks before i9.

My oldest memories were yelling at Longbow in Galaxy since they wouldn't answer me when I was asking them how to fly.

And thinking Galaxy was all of City of Heroes, I didn't think there was anything else, so I got to level 9, and I finally trained up when I got to level 8.

And having to ask tons of questions because I was too lazy to read in-game information.
  11. I was thinking of this yesterday and brought it up in my servers global channel.

  12. All other hats either have no hair or the details on the hats like the bands are a default color that can not be changed. Those two hats are currently the only hats how if you make your hair red the band or detail will be red too, etc.

I'm not talking about making different hair styles. Just and option so that your hair can be brown (or what ever color you like) and the band or detail being another color.

Or if that isn't an option making the detail on Occult and the band on Renegade have a default color that is not changable.
  13. We definitely need an option to change the color for Occult and Renegade hats from the Magic Booster Pack. Having red hair because you want a red band on the hat looks ridiculous, specially for something in a paid pack. Plus these are the only hats that are like this.

all these would bee neat features to have. Not sure if I'd use the Snap one, but the others I'd be using all the time.
  15. Been seeing this being suggested lately and it is an option I would really love. We need a feature to add other arcs to our favorites. It would be wonders instead of righting down a bunch of arc ID #s.

I giant QoL feature. I almost want it more than getting he global color changing bug fixed.
  16. Arc Name: Down With The Sickness
    Arc ID: 12420

Faction: Crey, The Sick, Malta, The Cure

    Creator Global/Forum Name: @BadWonka

Difficulty Level: It would be wise to take a Team for the last to missions are a bit rough but I have added allies to those missions to make it solo-able. I have completed it on a Fire/Empathy.

Synopsis: Down With The Sickness deals with The Sick who are infected with The Sickness, and infection that starts in the brain and soon consumes the whole body. The Sickness is contagious to most civilians but Supers can resist it. You'll need to fight through Crey, The Sick, a few Malta Patrols and get help from The Cure and 5th Column to have downed The Sickness.

Estimated Time to Play: Takes maybe 15 Minutes - 60 Depending on if you ghost the missions or clear the maps. 5 missions total.

  19. Only way this could ever work is if when you respec one of your builds that it allows you use the enhancements from the other build in that current one and any enhancements unused would simple just be unused and wouldn't appear in your enhancement tray or anything.

That is how a lot of people wanted Dual Builds to work but the Devs thought other wise and it isn't a likely change because the players did cry out for it and the Devs still held there ground.

But set bonuses carrying over? No. Before that ever came near happening I'd like my Pool Powers to work while in Dwarf and Nova forms.
  20. Thanks again for the information. This will be a cool feature for a death match of my minion Iimpa Limpas.
  21. Thanks for the tips. And great idea releasing all the guides right before i14 pops and people are browsing the forums to pass the 5 hours, but did you really have to do some many?

Really like the color, size and text variables, this will help with quality is some of my arcs. Thanks a lot!

  23. I swear I have been to a Tanker Tuesday on more than just Champion. It is not just a 1 server event.

If an in-game plaque doesn't fit then I guess I could settle with Champion, my home server, having "The best Server" right next to its name... Or "Home of the Champions" Or "Home of Tanker Tuesday"

  24. The first time I took hover it was because I thought it be about as fast as sprint but not as end heavy as fly so I'd be able to keep my end up and still fly around shooting stuff.

Now up until i14 I take it because you need to take a power before getting fly and I don't want to deal with slotting the attack.

Now it will actually be useful as what I was hoping it would be when I first went for it, the defense and -kb is a joke though.

It simply doesn't make sense to me why people on Justice or Virtue would erect some sort of recognition for something that never happened there.

A celebration with dev participation and prizes and maybe a mention in the updater seem much more appropriate. If only they had some method of organizing these sort of things in place.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Oh it has happened on Virtue I have been to one there before.
