It would make sense to me that it is based off a constant number (the monster's total HP) as opposed to a fluctuating number (total damgage dealt over time) since basing it off a constant takes much less code and calculating.

Something I noticed at this weekend's raid:
Pets (at least Jack Frost) need to be summoned to the back of the holders (out of melee range) during the hold phase.

pre I5, jack frost was a timid creature that preferred to throw snowballs and block of ice at bad guys instead of stepping in to melee and crushing them with greater ice sword. The aggressiveness of these pets seems to have been ramped up in I5 and now they're like bloodthirsty scrappers when they get close to melee!!

What this means at the raid is that unless your Jacks are out of melee range they will not be throwing holds.

If your Jack is standing next to Hammi during the hold phase with a giant ice sword in his hand, simply recast him in the back of the holding crowd so he can't move into melee and is forced to use his ranged attacks which include that helpful hold.

I don't play the other pet classes so I don't know if it's a problem with other pets, but I've noticed it with Jack.

So up to 4 teams can get the badge off a single Giant Monster, if each did EXACTLY 25% of the Giant Monster's hit points (not likely).

So, can the monster be 'milked' for badges? ie. have your team do over 25%, let him heal back to full, let another do 25%, let him heal to full again, rinse/repeat until all around are in for the badge and then take him down?
