  1. I have wanted a Villain for a long time and like a few other got a variety to about level 6 before boredom took over and they were deleted. The only one I found fun enough to stick at was my Stalker - i mostly solo'd her to about 33 before getting bored again so took a long break back Hero-side then came back a couple of months later and levelled her to 50. Since then I have 4 new villains and I am enjoying it more because the later level content is good fun and I am now more willing to fight my way there
  2. Lol cool thanks - didn't know if it was worth spending the inf on a +Stealth IO - obviously not so i won't bother
  3. Hi Folka

Of late whilst playing about on my lvl 50 Stalker I have come across Knives of Artemis in a few missions. The problem (well - more of an annoyance) I have is that they can see me. Whilst they can still be dispatched with relative ease I feel they are depriving me of my overall stalkerishness. I mean - what's the point in having a stalker if you can't go stab someone in the back then disappear again???

Even running Hide and Stealth I still get spotted - therefore would a +Stealth IO in Combat Jumping leave me invisible to KoA? If not is there any way of being able to hide from them?

    Thanks
  4. Villain Side Calystix has been the only real pain - the others I can usually take apart using a combo of BU+AS then Placate etc

On Heroes the only one i can remember struggling against is the Carnie EB at the end of the 45-50 Oroborus Arc - can't remember her name but the -Recovery whupped my [censored] many times!
  5. Personally i sell all salvage gained throughout the game to lvl 50 and then worry about IO's. Saying this I always seem to end up with loads of Luck Charms from fighting Hellions at low level!
  6. I am currently looking at enhancing Harlequins way into PvP. Sadly I didnt find out NB was among the worst powersets for PvP ntil I was mid 30's and I really couldnt face starting from scratch again! So far I have Makos Bite in AS which gave a nice health 700+ dmg against a Toxic Tarantula in GV so I was quite happy
  7. And now Harlequin-Phoenix (Nin/Nin Stalker)
  8. I am sure i read somewhere tht Vet Rewards were receied for paid game time - therefore your free month would not count towards it? Not sure where i saw it but I am convinced it was something like that!
  9. Auction them for 1 Inf and see what happens

    Lag on Union

I suffered bad rubber-banding on Friday night and last night took a team of four 4+ mins to get into mish for PI Bank Robbery
  11. My 2nd 50 - Valentine-Phoenix - Emp/Rad Defender - has been languishing unplayed for 6 months now as I am more of a fighter than a healer
  12. Personally I went for AR/Dev and it is the only Blaster combo I enjoyed (and I did try a fair few ) - something about standing on a roof sniping at passing enemies I found to be worryingly satisfying lol
  13. Something I would love to see (although I cannot see it ever happening) is the ability to have two builds per character. One of the main reasons I don't PvP is because I have spent time, effort and inf setting my alts up for PvE and do not want to have to respec just to do a little PvP then respec back again for PvE which I play most.

If people could successfuly (this is important - there is no point doing PvP just to get pwnd by someone who is built solely it) PvP without having to respec just to do it then it could make the whole PvP scene more popular!
  14. OK, as losing Stamina would be too detrimental I have had a rethink. After looking through my powers and a couple of threads on the US forums about stalkers, I could drop any two from Recall Friend, Acrobatics or Flashing Steel, this would then free up the 3 power slots i need to get Phase Shift for when I do PvP... Does ths sound better?
  15. Whilst idly browsing ParagonWiki I was shocked, horrifed and dismayed to see an advert there for 'Free Trial for World of Warcraft'.

I understand the importance of advertising and the money it brings in for various companies, but to advertise free trials of WoW on ParagonWiki seemed a little odd
  16. And carnie mishes are such fun lol - why can they not spawn on a solo mish
  17. True - and if you sell the BIG green and red insps you get from Outbeak that makes you a few thousand inf too
  18. I don't like the new Hide Options - might as well have a Hiding Scale ranging from 'Barely hidden' to 'Non Existant'. Took me ages to get fully unhid last time i used it lol
  19. I have been idly trying to get 500 Summoned Illusionists for about 18 months on Golden but am still only bout halfway there! I get bored too easily trying to fine the odd one in PI!

    PUG Fun!

One of the things I first (and always) loved about CoH was PUG's - even though I had no clue about what PUG meant in those days! Teaming is what has kept me playing the game - soloing is good when you aren't on long but for me the social aspect of teaming with new people or old mates is what I love most!
  21. Lol in that case I will stick with Stamina thx for advise!
  22. Not so much for PvP but maybe a little - Powers i have are Nin/Nin and only pool powers i have are Fitness (3 pwrs), Leaping (3pwrs) and Recall Friend (cos it is handy! Thx
  23. I saw mentioned somewhere in a Stalker thread mention of Phase Shift. I have never used this power before and can see it's uses but if I was to take it I would have to lose the Fitness set. I have survived to lvl 44 without Stamina but was wondering if it is worth ditching the whole fitness set to go for Phase Shift instead??

    Any thoughts would be welcomed
