Any, to be perfectly frank. What are you finding hard?
Blasters I recommend
Fire/Fire = AoE carnage
Ice/Dev = A lot of mitigation, very different
Archery/Mental = a newer combo, interesting, and the *feel* of an archery toon can't be matched
Personally I went for AR/Dev and it is the only Blaster combo I enjoyed (and I did try a fair few 
) - something about standing on a roof sniping at passing enemies I found to be worryingly satisfying lol
Golden-Phoenix - Lvl 50 Fire/Fire Tank
Oodja Nikabolokov - Lvl 50 SS/WP Brute
Baby-Phoenix - Lvl 50 Peacebringer
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could Chuck Norris?
Try elec/fire for extreme low level AoE's.
Oh and make sure you have wakies or an empath handy.
Ice/mental for a great mix of single target and AoE damage coupled with good survivability

Ice/Devices. Great mix of single target damage and control, coupled with ST/AoE soft control with -recharge and movement slow.

I personally like my AR/NRG
Arch/Dev or Ice/Dev are both nice combo's if you're looking at a more passive secondary.
Elec/Fire I think would be fun (having an Elec/Mental and a Ice/Fire) or even Fire/Mental

Fire /Mental is fun combo indeed. I am also having fun with Ice/Elec and Elec/Nrg, but so far Fire/Mental is the overall winner for me.
Carry lots of wakies. Get used to lying down, a lot. If this is not happening, you are playing your blaster wrong!
P.S. AR/Dev is nice, especially now that the drone follows you around. And at higher levels, you get to unleash Full Auto every 20s or so. Bwuhahahah, *cough*!

I'm currently on a blaster phase, and ive made about 5 in the space of 2 days.
My recommendations are:
Archery/Fire - Lots of fun, I have one at lvl 35 and loving every second of him, though the amount of aggro I get is silly 
Ice/Energy - With power boost can hold single targets better than a troller, which is extremely satisfying 
Fire/Elec - Mine is lvl 50 and I love it to bits

Ice/Energy - If you wish to PvP
Psi/Energy - See Above
It really does depend on what you are after and how much back up you can expect. I rolled a fire/fire blaster for the Omega TF a while ago, and having my own personal empath on the draw as well as all the other debuff goodness from everybody else was incredible. I quite easily became the top "arrester" for our team and was a hell of a lot of fun to see how far I could push it.
Three +3 mobs whilst I had Fort, AM, CM, RA (both of em) a tank meant I could pile straight in with Fireball, Fire Sword Circle and have one left maybe. Truely the orange numbers were a sight to behold.
On the other hand, I've seen an AR/Energy use boost range followed by a 200ft. Full Auto cone and draw an unholy amount of aggro. Right up till they all keeled over.
But my most well rounded Blaster has been my Fire/EM. Not really a PvP'er myself, though I have taken him for a spin once or twice. But in PvE, I've got options. A well herded mob? Fireball, Fireball, Fireball. Freak Tank about to clobber me? Bonesmasher and Power Thrust as they are fast attacks.
These are just my experiences though, as always. Your mileage may vary.

I use a rifle/dev as i like the tech heroes like batman/iron man so its all up to you. But as quoted you will be lying down a LOT.
I was thinking about making a Blaster, but I don't know what powersets to choose. Can anybody help?
I'll be mainly PvE, with a lot of time spent teaming.
