Knives of Artemis - Bionic Eyes...

Hi Folka

Of late whilst playing about on my lvl 50 Stalker I have come across Knives of Artemis in a few missions. The problem (well - more of an annoyance) I have is that they can see me. Whilst they can still be dispatched with relative ease I feel they are depriving me of my overall stalkerishness. I mean - what's the point in having a stalker if you can't go stab someone in the back then disappear again???

Even running Hide and Stealth I still get spotted - therefore would a +Stealth IO in Combat Jumping leave me invisible to KoA? If not is there any way of being able to hide from them?

Thanks

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could Chuck Norris?

You cant hide form them, but so what?

a few enemies you cant hide form keep you on your feet, just like controllers have some enemeis that dont mez easily, scrappers hate stuff that rez them, tanks hate stuff that they cant cope with and blasters sometimes get hit (visa ve, they die). i like to fight Knives on my Stalker sometimes.

Well, they are wearing Vision enhancement goggles so they have enhanced perception. Same with Rikti Drones.

Technically, KoA and Rikti drones don't have enhanced perception, they are are unaffected by +stealth.

Snipers, bane spider scouts, and any mob under the influence of tactics has increased perception.

I really should do something about this signature.

At least you usually know where Knives are - not as bad as when you enter a big shiny lab and suddenly rocket-propelled grenades start exploding in your hair from a Nemesis sniper so far away you need a Saver Return to get to him.

Lol cool thanks - didn't know if it was worth spending the inf on a +Stealth IO - obviously not so i won't bother

Get the +stealth IO anyways and put it in sprint, but only really if you want to head into a pvp zone.

Knives of Artemis thankfully only pop up rarely, usually in Malta mishs, so they aint a pain that often. Ruluruu are a big pain too, as the eyes will see you no matter what level of stealth you have.

The most annoying I find are the drones, annoyingly hard to hit and they see you coming.
