The simple solution is to add purple rolls in rewards for tickets/merits. Make it twice the gold so say 7000 tickets for a random purple recipe. You can get purple drops in ae from devs choice missions. They could make it a 50 only reward roll since you can only slot purples in 50's. The MA created a shortage of purples in the market since those supplying them were farmers. The current state of the market simply shows that either the chance for purple drops outside of ae need upped or those that want them will have to turn to farming outside of ae to try to get them.

pet hold does -kb too as well as it kb's and repels - worse thing you can do on a grav emp is let out your pet when your team is trying to kb spike! doh!

good to know! the problem is you would have to atk and defeat a mulitude of different opponents to get the drop if I understand it correctly and wait the 5 minutes between defeats - unless the rep timer does not reset, which it sounds like it does not if you got two drops in 10 mins.

Most clubbers are in Sirens - simple go to the zone stand in ne corner and say in bc "any heroes want to duel?"

Take Hover and fly

Slot all your atks for acc/dgm and range

webnade, snipe, follow up dead. Rinse Repeat.

(bonus for you if you can dual box and have a buff bot in the hospital with recall friend if you get in trouble).

for Arena - pre 13 rules apply carry on.

The drops are still there in arena but the rep timer makes them much more rare. The 10 min rule is still in effect but it is also tied to a rep timer - this was to stop farming. For example if you had a team of 5 constantly killing a team of 5 they had a chance to get the pvp io drop but that chance is negated if they constantly kill the opposite players (ie farming) because like a zone you would get no rep for defeating the same player in the period of time that the rep counter was going and if you did that rep timer is reset.

and corrs should get devs if defenders can get traps...

heh not if you have a ta/necro mm in the zone :P - I was in there on mine and was teamed with a few doms ( who flew) to just drop the hover babies. Puts the shoe on the other foot lol. But yes /dev is ridiculously overpowered for sirens. With the addition of TA to corruptors though - it should make it less so (staying in BG range while chasing fliers is hard!).

If you want to KB make a /nrg. They have the highest mag kb for a dom and TF is sick. High dmg ranged attacks, a snipe, high dmg melee and powerboost. Mind is cool but I would go earth nrg for the powerboosted stun, fast anim control powers and if you proc up volcanic gasses, a sick hold.

From what I have seen - blasters have the edge in SC becuase they get so much more dmg early one (aim+bu) and yeah they need to remove the atk while mezzed from pvp since they neutered mez. (wasn't the whole drive behind that to combat powerboosted and domination holds?)

A good player on a mind/fire or mind/nrg or earth/nrg or grav/elec..etc...can beat a blaster.

that and you have no idea what the dmg will be for rad blast for blasters - if they keep the same attacks etc...and like others said procs, + aim+bu+pb...

I thought the pff nerf only affected epics like doms and blasters?

any ways - I reinstalled win 7 rc 64 bit then just copied my coh install - and now everything runs great.

It is not beta it is RC - as in release candidate, it is going gold later this month which pretty much is exactly the same as the RC build.

Yeah I was thinking about Spawn as well after I posted. Should be interesting if they are demons, what their power sets will be (imps/fire dmg or some fire+special dmg).

broadsword seems kind of counter to a stalker - I mean it's all about the stealth kill - doing it with a huge swords is well...silly?

I get the blaster thing, what I don't think I can follow is a demon summoning anything using that power for good. Just my two RP cents but if you are talking "demons" in the classic sense then why would they want the souls of those already "dammed" as it were.
