  1. A few days ago I had a run in with a certain player who I have had problems with in the past. But I like to try to give people a chance to redeem themselves if it seems plausible. Long story short, they threatened to quit an STF in the fourth mission, and they had the temp power when I specifically asked another player to take it. So I asked the team who was standing near me in local chat if they minded if I kicked him and we did a short tf. Most of the players being my friends and fed up with his nonsense said yes and it led to a great LGTF. Tonight it got brought up again in Level 50 chat, and hopefully others won't have to deal with it.

All that being said, I really love most of you Guardianites, and even though I've been playing there for most of my 6+ years, I still meet new people that I have to make room for on my gfriend list. So this is just a little thank you to all my friends and other who I have teamed w/ or will team with that are competent and generally pleasant to team with, most of you know who you are and this doesn't really need to turn into a popularity contest. Just wanted to thank you guys for keeping me interested and FEEDING MY NEED TO LEAD!
  2. quick reply to armeros, you go from vigilante to villain. also i will be there. @BL00DBATH
i've got an elec/psi permadom, wp/ss tank, and a fire/fire blaster i could bring. i'd prefer to bring the dom but the blaster's probably the best choice for completion.
  3. anything that tastes like black licorice makes me vomit *curses last person who tricked me into a shot of sambuca* but i would still drink widow's kiss. that's awesome. and then gw could do a commercial where she puts gene simmons in a soul storm.
  4. same, i think bugs bunny fixed it.
  5. "i knew i should have taken that right turn at albuquerque" http://www.alexross.com/82061-big.jpg
  6. Lol, i think my game thinks i'm from another country <.< >.>
  7. i'm having similar problems in Delaware(yeah that tiny little first state). I'm getting a message i've never seen before. it's not "Lost Connection to Mapserver" it's "Mapserver Disconnected".
  8. can they sticky this thread plz? i want to be able to come back and read this when i'm feeling down.
  9. i just feel like that's part of the balance between keeping primary powers "better" than their secondary counterparts right out of the gate. I.E. rad defenders can completely skip their heal, or just take it later on, b/c they plan to solo or just don't like to heal or whatever reason. but part (notice i say part, i'm aware the numbers are usually less in the secondary) of keeping the primary "better" is locking in that first power choice when it's ported as a secondary. Yes there are some sub-optimal choices, but even then that's still subjective. I'm not one of those who say it's been like this 6 years leave it alone. I say it works the way it is, so don't cause tons of other issues messing with something that isn't even remotely broken. Don't like ST immobs? why not, cheap purple on a blaster is all i see.
  10. wow when i replied to this i didn't think it would grow to be 3 pages. can we go back to loling at the OP about how ridiculous auto 6 slotting a tier one and boxing/kick is?

As far as "In one sense it's arbitrary and inconsistent that you have a choice between two powers for the primary, the power pools, the epic pools, and the patron pools, but are forced to take the first power in the secondary. It's the only set/pool that's true for." Um...I see where you're trying to go there, but I think the reason for that has long been established that it's because it's SECONDARY to your PRIMARY set. That doesn't seem arbitrary to me at all. Quite the opposite actually. Pool powers and Epics aren't secondary or primary, they are optional completely. You can't opt out of taking a secondary.

Edit: Yes I am aware that even if you only take primary/secondary powers that at lvl 22 you have to pick a pool power.
  11. uh...you think they should automatically six slot tier ones and boxing/kick...and you think that's balanced? am i misunderstanding?

that's kinda more what i'd do, then when i19 hits u can drop the fitness powers for some one slot wonders.
  13. click the powers tab, above your primary powers is a "combat attributes" button. open it. there you can find the info, you can display like 10 attributes at a time or so, not sure on the number, just right click it and hit monitor such and such.
  14. yes it will break the sleep...but flash has such a long timer anyway, i wouldn't damage proc it out. it's not really an effective slotting imo. if anything i'd proc it out w/ chance for holds.

Far as costumes from NPCs go, all I can do is restate my previous requests: Nemesis boots and gloves plus the Romulus shoulders. That alone would sell this to me.

You should try some of that stuff...it's pretty fun. One or Two MS raids net you all the vg merits u need for costumes. don't got an hour? how the hell do you enjoy this game w/o an hour?

Edit: To keep it on topic, i want this head http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/File:R...e_Brute_01.jpg
also wouldn't mind having the lost tv head, anything lost really, any some new monstrous things, DE, Warwolves, anything. Not everything has to be a humanoid.
  16. i also have:
    Cold/Ice Defender
    Emp/Rad Defender
    Dark/Dark Tanker
    Night Widow

if you prefer any of those...just io'd the cold/ice completely so partial to him atm.

    Blue COP 10/17

yeah you know i'm in unless something drastic happens. I was thinking of bringing my cold/ice defender. tons of aoe debuffs/damage as well as juicy benumb. if need be i can also bring a night widow, dark/dark tank, emp/rad defender, sonic/mm blaster, rad/sonic defender...and possibly something else if i decide to io another toon out this week...all of those toons are setted out and ready to go.
  18. i'll join, bloodbath, got a few toons i could bring. prefer rad/sonic or sonic/mm blaster

    weeeeeeee that was fun!

  21. He made Soul Drain from Soul Mastery perma on a Defender.

    Emperor Cole is his Doppleganger.

Enriche turns to Dos Equis in his hands.

    Praetor Tillman calls him Daddy.
  22. This is good for the most part. But I always kind of liked the emps and rads and stuff that I run that skip the pool altogether. Made me feel different.
  23. "I was tanking recluse when all of the sudden this DP blaster went all dick cheney on the towers and ended up shooting me in the face!"

    This > That.

Soul drain>all other epic pool powers for fenders
  25. Well if you look at soul drain from the new defender PPP and the corr soul mastery it's 240 seconds. So why would I ever change my perma soul drain fenders to soul mastery? And why is it double? Bc it's the first pick or is bc u can get power boost in that set?
