Yes I have, but it was before i13. It's still great for pve though.
-
I hear that when used with tp, it will practically never aggro others. (It was from a post by a nin/TA MM in the MM forums)

Also, I was looking at the defense in my build and the one Acuzar posted. To me it seems that if one builds for a perma hasten/perma dom build, or heck even just perma dom, that defense and resistance take a severe beating. But then again, it's understandable, as that it's not what the builds are for.

Aid Self + PFF = godmode, the survivability is amazing. -

Fiery Assault and Thorny Assault provide the best AoE damage in the earlier levels...
[/ QUOTE ]
What are earlie levels? From 1-19, Fiery Assault has one AoE attack, and it's a cone. At lvl 20 and level 28 it picks up two more that are both melee range. Do the other sets really have less low level AoE that that?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. Without including their damage buffs in aim/fiery embrace. -

Do you guys know who does more damage plant/thorn or plant/psi i like both and since i have to start over might as well check out all possibilities.
[/ QUOTE ]
/psi is more powerful than /thorns (for now at least), but /thorns is more fun to me. And it does synergize very well. -
This is my updated plant/thorn build, take out the luck of the gamblers, and replace decimation with entropic chaos for a much cheaper build, and you can just get rid of obliteration in ripper (insanely expensive). PFF+Aid Self = God Mode btw.

@The_Hedgemon
I'd suggest using the wegame video recorder, it worked well with my videos (cagronomy is my youtube name & my plant/thorn was before wegame). -

my favorite myth is ppl thinking a build is makin an alt, and an alt is makin a gamer.
[/ QUOTE ]
well, reverse it.
I think both directions, so, if you encouter me in the forums, try a lil crossthinking.
[/ QUOTE ]
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm pretty sure, you're just on drugs. -
There are tons where you won't be able zero your endurance. I think what would be more important is from 1-50. The powerset that is best 1-50 would be dark/regen scrappers.
-
You also have to consider caps and base health.

Leadership on a dominator isnt a bad idea. Leadership is a bad idea as a power choice in a pre40 build.
[/ QUOTE ]
You have support for this? I don't see what 40 has to do with anything. -
I hear their fury bar is going to be at 100% all the time!
-
You should have plenty of room to take them all, go with combat jumping first though. I'm going to slot repulse with 2 kb IOs and 2 endredux for those times I'm surrounded and really need to get free. The radius seems larger too last I checked (9ft). Besides, 16 mag kb looks awesome.

/fire may not be as fast, Combustion is just a little slower than PSW in animation time. I've watched my friend farm on his plant/fire/scorp and he does rather well w/ I believe perma Patron Pet and Fiery Embrace.
[/ QUOTE ]
Plant skews things. Confusion will make any mob melt w/o even touching them. Fire just doesn't have the burst damage to be a great farmer w/ plant at least. And I'm pretty sure you can't perma fiery embrace (180s recharge, 30s duration, +500% recharge cap, so 180/5 = 36s). And good luck getting that recharge w/o a kin. -
Don't you think you should have summoned your pet?
-
[ QUOTE ]
I could go on at length about powers I used, mistakes I made, my build, all the failed attempts and the streakbreaker, but I'll only do that if you ask.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, please. -
With 2 of it's combos attached to build up and the fact that it even has build up seems to put it at a serious disadvantage compared to other dual blade wielders at least in pve.
And do MM pets or pets in general count in crit calculation?
And did the snipe powers get a boost in damage? -
I'll take out conserve power in favor of glue (and rearrange so it's at 16 and PGA is at 41). My merc/TA does fine with just stamina, so it's likely that another pet summoner with a TA secondary would work fine. And I already have the blast local.

Doms can be a brute but a brute can't be a dom. It's like squares and rectangles, man.
[/ QUOTE ]
Stone/dark comes really close to doing dom-level control. -
Leadership isn't a bad idea on a dom with powerboost. You get a mini-elude when you use powerboost then vengeance, not to mention it gives you a mini-aim in powerboost with tactics on.
-
And I thought the preferred method for soloing AVs on a mind dom was permasleeping.
-
Even though this is in the brute forum, I'll answer. Yes, you can. No one mentioned singularity yet. With powerboost and Force of Nature it's not impossible at all. You won't be doing enough damage, but 2 doms can attack and keep them held pretty easily.

I thought that mercenaries and ninja could get away from detonator.
Poor poor pets. This is the description btw: "Undead and Robots are easily rigged and will blow up instantly, devastating nearby enemies. Ninjas, Soldiers and other free thinking Henchmen will try to place the explosive on the ground and get away. But you know... the fuse is short."
