Lilitu: I could get over the green skin, although I might lose a chunk of my soul in the process. And just think how educational the experience would be.
As for the boys, I'd say Manticore but I wouldn't be able to bring myself to go after someone who had just lost his wife. That leaves Chimera- but I'd have to be long gone before he wakes up for fear he might get emotionally attached. I'm sure Belladonna agrees. -
Thank you for taking the time to show us your GM notes. I hope the case of you all needing to change information comes to pass.
Quote:I've pondered seeing if I (given permission from Titan Network) could use the info in Mids to work out how to put the powers in to another game (maybe using the fan created 'partial powers' system of the Amber Diceless RPG). If I really had time, I'd see if I could work out how to use Mids as a RPG system in and of itself. You know, someone should sit down and write up CoH as a system-neutral RPG setting.
Also- The way the reunion for the "newly" vigilante Manticore and the returning Sister Psyche goes like this in the back of my head:Sis P.: Justin! This goes against everything that we fought for!
It could have balanced out Scirocco and Ice Mistral going good and been an excuse for Sister Psyche to get a new outfit. Plus buffed up Wyvern with some needed abilities other than plunking you with arrows.
Manti: Did you not notice how quickly the Phalanx had you replaced with Penny Yin?
Sis P.: (pause) Want to go run some vig tips, dear?

Just as long as NCSoft doesn't then flaunt it in our faces when they start dating again.
*Looks at recent NCSoft announcement about Soul & Blade*
Maybe we'll get a sympathy [PANCAKE] from another game company. -
What? Are you saying that isn't the description of what sort of game the American public is dying to play if only it could be brought over and introduced? Because, honestly, none of us who play MMORPGs have any idea what the games they want us to play are really like, so we'll all just be lining up to play them. And I'm sure that causal gamers' heads will explode in delight at the idea of a game that you have to spend money and long hours on and non-gamers will be coming out in droves to try this exciting new entertainment. Their corporate leaders will be standing on the world stage in a virtual money rain and hailed as business geniuses that all game companies should aspire to be.
You really shouldn't question the business logic of such a successful profitable gaming company, you know. -
I can't find a picture in the Wiki (I may have overlooked it) and I've managed to miss anyone who was wandering around the game with one. Can someone post a picture of their character with the aura on?

I'd like to point out one thing, and I know this comes as a shock, but not everyone plays the league i-trials. And some people that do use different strategies than they do when they play in solo/small group play.
Of course, my opinion comes from being someone who usually plays in small groups (often just a duo), which makes it easy for the /devices blaster to tell me "Hang on. I want to set a mine field.". Again, different strategies depending on the situation and team set up.
Also, it's funny as heck to watch what happens when someone plants a mine on top of a Freakshow, just in case they get any ideas about standing back up. -
Quote:The Jackson family is touchy about how the dance is used these days (especially with the whole undead theme) and there's a whole lot of issues as to whether the dance is copyrighted or not. Thus the sort-of dance is much easier to use.Personally I would actual Thriller dance. Not just something similar with the pop dance.
The bunny hop for Easter? -
Quote:Well, if you'd just like to do that: Behind the Name's Random Name Generator. Oh sure, you could use it to find a name in a random culture, but why wouldn't you want to use their "Transformer" or "Wrestler" settings? Just scale down the number of names you want (1 or 2), check all of the boxes you want the words to come from and *poof* your new name.Usually search 'funny character names' and the likes, as I dont take names too seriously.

This. As well I'd like to point out the origins of the dreaded "school girl uniform" go back to the actual British navy, with boys and girls versions catching on in the late 1800s. The shirt part skims a little too high even on the longer setting but you can still make a non-anime uniform with it with the right accessories.

These have been very fun reads, thank you for making them.
And PLEASE make Woofers canon. I can't help but imagine him as Ms. Lib's puppy that she kept dragging along to Fort Trident when when she was a little girl and going to visit Grandpa. -

Glad to meet you too, Atheist. I'm Pagan and I'll be one of the resounding voices of NO.
OK, where to begin. Hm, OK, well for starts this would an endorsement for one specific religion and... [Pancake] it. No amount of rational discussion could save this thread.
You can't end the world on December 21, that's the day I want to have my main character's "13th birthday party"*
"With decorations like streamers and fairy-lights and pinwheels and piƱatas and pin-cushions. With goodies like sugar cubes and sugar canes and sundaes and sun-beams and sarsaparilla. And I get to play my favorite-est of favorite fantabulous games like Pin the Tail on the Pony!"

*Which is really just an excuse for me to have a costume contest themed around something other than 'who can wear the least amount of clothes. -
Quote:Lovecraft was very descriptive.I just have a general distaste for 18th and 19th-century fiction of *any* kind, with the "takes eighteen pages to describe a door" method of storytelling.

I'm not sure if that's the type of literature that you dislike or not. For a list of free online works, some are listed here. If you do take a stab at them, start with Cool Air. It's one of his shorter works.
Edit: >.<;; Got beat to the link while finding a good passage. -
On Blue side. Red side was, well trying to get an event Red-side. There was less than half that amount, with only a couple of incarnates and a few more non-incarnate 50s. We kinda... got slaughtered. A lot. I know the majority of us there, myself included, came away from the event with a fairly large chunk of debt.

Quote:And we're all back to staring at men's crotches. Not that I mind that in general. I think it's neither too much or not enough to inspire poetry one way or the other about.I agree that it's appropriately drawn, however, I disagree that the package is filled, so to speak. Baggy pants is baggy.

Ooooookay.
As most people know, my computer graphics can't keep up with large Incarnate events and Mother Ship Raids. But the Mako event is, to be blunt, an Incarnate event.
So Nemmie, a rogue, will be over on blue-side.
Taci, a vigilante, will be over on red-side.
Of course, with the flood of red-text -and requests to be added in to a league/team in the others- that's going to be happening, most of the ideas bandied about in PinnBadges just won't work.
Our first idea is a go but anything else would have to be in an after party after the official after party. I'm thinking we can take turns on the catwalk (aka up by DJ Zero) to show off to one another?
