Oh wow, my bad. I didn't realize it was a limited time unlock.
-
The Roman costume unlock is nowhere to be found on the store, nor are the parts showing up in the character creator. I just watched Immortals last night and was intent on logging in today to use those pieces for the first time. Instead I found some weird scifi Olympian Guard set that I've not heard anyone mention.
-
It was just me resubscribing. Whenever I spend money on this game all the servers go down.
*sigh* -
People have pretty varied foot and toe shapes. I have an aunt with size eleven feet with toes that look like broken fingers, she'd probably cry tears of joy to wake up with the Pocket D feet (which is what her daughter's feet look like).
That said they look nothing like anything else in the game which is a major design fail IMO. The contrast is jarring. -
Kind of funny. Not using wand or mu would be more of a challenge than relying on them.

Quote:The incentive would be that it wouldn't be labeled "Help" and they wouldn't feel any guilt posting improperly in it. I think a good portion of the people spamming the channel are aware of it's actual purpose and only do so because it's the only global channel they know of.For one, what would be the incentive to move form the help channel which they are currently ALREADY using?
Even if that doesn't work, the worst case scenario is some people use the new channel and some stick with the help channel, which would at least split the load and perhaps allow people to read the help channel without it scrolling too fast. -
I like helping, always have, I used to add the help channel to my main chat tab so it was always viewable. In the past couple weeks I've moved it to it's own tab, then shortly after deleted that tab. It's no longer a help channel, and I feel sorry for anyone that does have a question, but I'm not wading through that garbage anymore.

IIRC the original concept for the dual pistol set was going to be a short-range "melee" set for scrappers and such. That's what I thought of when I saw the topic title. Disappointing.
-
You'll want to start villain side then. The hero stories don't have good villains, if you want to experience Crosscut and friends you need to play through the villain stories. Funny how that works huh?
-
There are lots of IO sets that boost run speed, usually as only the 2 piece bonus too. I can't name them offhand, I just remember seeing them all the time while playing around with mids. Like 5-12% bonuses IIRC.
-
No you're not. You're getting the same amount of points, in fact you are getting them faster than everybody else. You got points on Sept 14th, then you get points on Oct 11th, that's less than a month, then you will get them on Nov 8th or something, again less than a month. You have overall accelerated point gain until your stipend aligns with your bill date. They couldn't give you points on the 14th and on the 2nd or 3rd or whatever because that would have been only 2 weeks between stipends which is ridiculous to expect. Honestly. You still have the bonus advanced stipend, and you'll still get your stipend for every single month you're subscribed. They are just buffering the date to keep them at close to a month apart like they should be.
-
There's nothing to fix. There's no problem. You got points in advance, you are ahead of everyone else, now you are slowed down a little for a month while other people catch up.
-
Triple slotting sprint and swift with run speed is almost as fast as unslotted sprint+swift+ninja run.
-
OP misunderstood the topic. There's nothing wrong with the paragon points distribution, the delay is there because they gave you points in advance, so they are purposefully holding off until mid October to put that back on schedule. It is by design, there are no missing points and there's no problem to fix. That topic was about reward tokens which due to the underlying mechanics of the system will be given out at a different time than previously stated.

Any resist based tanker is going to do really well with KM's -DMG. Shouldn't really be looking at the DPS potentials, should be looking at how each set assists in tanking. KM is by far one of the better tanking sets. KM for resist sets, DM for defense sets.
-
Awarding the points at the end of the subscription cycle wouldn't make any sense. A lot of people only play a month at a time and they'd want those points while they are playing not the day their sub runs out.
I wasn't subbed anywhere near the 14th, I renewed like last week and I got my 400 points the instant I gave them my money. That's how it should work, you give them your money at the beginning of each cycle, they give you your time and points.
The old veteran rewards worked differently because that was based on time played. -
A wild guess would be she was sent to a different contact in KR but when you first enter the zone your waypoint is overwritten and you are sent to the detective for a radio. She probably didn't notice the switch.

Quote:It's not a bug and it does work in AE. Possibly not custom enemies, but any standard level 1 enemy in AE will give double exp as long as you aren't exemplared. The level 1 double xp bug has been around for years. I've sent in bug reports for this issue more than a few times.
Its not just hellions, its anything that isn't in AE. Edit: It does not work in AE so go ahead and try it but it will award normal level 1 xp.
Hint: this is how I get my characters to level 4 quickly. -

Quote:The F2P community is pretty much the same in every game, so it's not unrealistic to expect the same here once they pick up this game's scent (if they ever do).Obviously the illusion now though is that people are moving onto the VIP server to stay away from these free players for whatever reason. I dont know, maybe they are the ones who are pre judging free players as a collective unit before playing with them first?
It's not that P2P players put them on a lower level, it's just that F2P communities quickly turn unfriendly as mob mentality kicks in and the unruly vocal players take over. In most F2P games I play, the friendly/civil players all have public channels turned off and they stick close together only playing with each other. It's something I fear happening to this game, but again it's not elitism and it's not why I'm playing on Exalted this week. -
I don't even understand this concept of elitism that could be attributed to the server. Until a month or so ago everyone was a subscriber, AKA a VIP. There's nothing more special about being a VIP now, and nobody on Exalted is acting like there is. The only special thing about the server is there's no lag yet it still has a health population, I usually play on Virtue but it's so crowded and laggy now that it's unplayable at times (I also ran out of character slots).
-
I haven't even seen any of the "trolls" you mentioned. There was one mildy annoying SWTOR tangent on the help channel the other day, but other than that everyone I've encountered on the server has been polite and helpful.
-
Don't think I've seen anyone call it "The Sewer Trial." I do see "sewer trial" all the time, which makes perfect sense since it's a trial in a sewer. More often it's just "sewers" now though, replacing the old "sewers."
-
Been this way forever. When I don't feel like sewers I run straight to AE at level 1 and grab a mission with a lot of enemies. Very fast way to hit level 5.
Your exemplaring idea doesn't work, I tried it long ago. It's because when exemplared you aren't getting the normal exp values, you are getting a value pulled out of thin air based on your actual level. -
Quote:You can try. I'd like to hear it.Do I honestly need to explain the difference between a window and a monitor to you? :I
Haven't you ever been in one of those rooms with giant screens on the wall pretending to be windows that show images of outside but can be changed to any season or environment? Or at least seen one on TV? It's pretty cool stuff.
Avatar certainly wasn't 3D only. I watched it opening day in normal vision at one of my local theaters. Worldwide only 25% of screens showing the movie were showing the 3D version.
