Well seeing as there are no more books in the story, where they go and how they do it is anyone's guess. I didn't really care for the movie version but I do understand some things had to change for the movie audience (I guess), but I'm really afraid to see where they would take the sequel without any real blueprint to follow.

It's annoying as all hell, I bind all my controls for my MM to the keypad, and now with this constant rebinding it's pissing me off more and more, oh well there goes Demon Summoning for me until they actually fix whatever's wrong

Thank you very much one and all for all the help, I will be reading that guide for the first 20 levels over closely and all the sample builds to get a good idea on what I should be looking at power and slotting wise. As far as the attitude goes, that's not a problem, I've always adapted to the attitude needed to get the job done, whether it's sitting back and helping others with my support toons, jumping into the fight and just going crazy with the melee with my scrapper, or being the long range threat with my blasters...this is just one more challenge I hope to conquer in this game. thank you all once again for all this info I am truly appreciative

I've never played a tank, some people are suggesting I give this combo a try. My questions is a simple one, What are some of the power to skip? Must haves? I've looked around for guides on this type of tank and came up empty....I've looked for even sample builds to give me a clue as to what to take where and when...and I came up empty also. I'm looking for any and all help, I am completely clueless when it comes to tanks, and and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for this great post, I was debating whether to make my first dom and after reading this post and a few others, I went ahead and made mine earth/earth, and even though he's only 7 levels in, he is by far one of the most fun toons I've played in a while.

I'm trying to put a good build together for my rad/fire I've decided to make and so far this is what I got..are there powers that I should drop or add? I'm going for a blapper so any and all criticism is welcome..thank you for your time

Thank you everyone, I think I'm gonna go with Rad/Fire and see how I like it

I've played a few blasters and am currently loving my arch/dev blaster..but being a quasi altaholic it's always good to have another toon waiting in the wings to be played and seeing as how I've never played a radiation anything I was thinking of going rad/ for a blaster. My question is what would ya'll suggest as a secondary? I don't have any experience blapping but I'm willing to try it, I was thinking of rad/elec but wasn't really sure.

I've been thinking of making a shield defense scrapper, and like most I was thinking about going broad sword but I dunno it seems like the chioce most have made. I wanted to ask all those shield defenders out there what they thought about the other combos, the pluses and minuses and experiences. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thanks for help

I'm looking for a little advice on my elec/elec blapper...I've had different people giving me different advice, some have told me that Lightning Field just isn't worth having in the build at all and it's just a waste of a power pick...and some have sworn by using it through out their career, I really don't know what to do and was looking to maybe get some more views on this power and it's usefullness.

The Blade Melee would need to be creatively done, complete with shurikens and a "handle butt" stun power since most blaster secondaries have a stun and/or an immobilize. Someone fell in love with the deadpool character in X-Men Origins I see lol. It might be fun at first but I agree with most on here that are saying it'll be redraw hell. Somethings are better left in movies and comics

I've been wanting to make myself a fire/ice blaster and have been having some trouble with a costume on how maybe to mix the fire/ice theme into it. I've come up with a name and backstory which I'll leave below as it might help inspire some help. I only have the new Magic Pack and probably won't be getting the older packs if that helps anyone. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, and without further wait here's some backstory for my hope to be blaster.

We were sitting in the psychiatrists office, and by we I mean us, and by us I mean myself and my other personality, when the Rikti Invasion occured, it was a doozy of a battle from what I remember, and it was during the war that my latent abilities triggered, funny thing though I control fire while my other half controls ice, I guess crazy has no limits eh? We saved our doctor in what could only be called a chaotic way, melt this one, freeze that one, both to the third one, we decided to stick around and do what we could to help those who needed it, you know more of the small stuff instead of what those "true" heroes were doing. The time after the war we both spent time trying to get a handle on our powers, we now feel it's time to get back to helping those who can't help themselves, so to all those who would dare defile this city better beware, Arctic Blaze stands forever ready to bust some heads...or melt them...or maybe even freeze a few hahahaha

I've recently come back into the game and had this old design that I never really used before I stopped playing...the only problem is I don't know what color combination to give him. He's gonna be an emp/rad defender if that helps at all, I've been trying to come up with something but so far I've come up with nothing I really like.

I was wondering if you could help me with a costume for my dark/dark natural Brute named Neptune's Hangman..I've been having a hard time making a costume for him, I'd like him to have the peg leg and hook if at all possible. The backstory is as follows

This is definitely crap, why people want to look "evil" and yet be heroes is beyond me, I say keep the costumes different because like the above poster said when you go to AP or GC the crowd there is much different from the crowd in Mercy Island and I love that, I love the look and feel of both games because they are really different.

I consider this a big big mistake if they end up putting everything together for everyone to use...hell I thought it was bad to even have 1/3 the stuff shared between them because I knew somewhere down the line somebody who only wanted to play COH would say "well those guys got a 1/3 of the hero stuff they should start sharing some of their costume options"

It's so simple I don't get what people are angry about, we get FREE updates, it's mind blowing people can [censored] so much about stuff they get for free.

If you like some of the stuff coming out with COV you have a really simple choice. Choice 1.) Continue playing COH and HOPE that some of the things you like about COV bleed through into COV one day or you have Choice 2.) Buy COV and play it.

Is it 'fair' maybe maybe not but that's life, this is a game that I'd say has been really fun and with all the updates we've had it's just added to the fun. If you don't like it quit playing, sure you can suggest to the devs what you would like but don't expect every wish to be granted.
