  1. Update! Of epic proportions!

    Global Name: @Zortel
    Server: Union
    CoH/CoV
    [u]Characters:[u]

    Fusebox
Hannah Anne Rolando, Current Residence: Rolando Island, South Pacific. 17 Years Old (Looks late teens/early 20's)
Hannah Rolando, also known as Fusebox, is an Electrokinetic and Cyberpath mutant. Adopted daughter of Zorielle Rolando (Former head of ZorTel Industries and the hero Zortel I) and Tessa Lenson (now Rolando), and currently dating the hero Tigergirl. Hannah was for a short time Zortel II, whilst her mother took a break from hero duties, and has been seen associating with The Vigil, The Society of the Phoenix and the Guardians of Destiny.

Hannah worked with GIFT for a short period of time, before an attack from one of the teenagers she was talking to made her take time off work, eventually quitting. In addition to amature photography and gaming, Hannah runs www.thefusewire.org, a popular gaming website. Hannah was once a former member of the Outcasts in her youth, and served six months in Juvvinile Hall.

"I am a woman, a sensuous woman, who loves and loves to be loved." - I'm Not A Model by Russell Simins

    Zortel I
Zorielle Marianna Rolando, Current Residence: Rolando Island, South Pacific. 37 years old (Looks early 30's)
Zorielle Rolando, former CEO of ZorTel Industries, built the Zortel suit with her wife Tessa Lenson, and piloted it in the Rikti Invasion. Damage to the building they worked in resulted in the loss of her wife, and in her anger she took on Rikti forces, fighting them out of her neighbourhood and earning her a Statesman Star, at the cost of her reproductive organs due to injuries sustained.

Adopting Hannah two years ago, she was offered a second chance of family life when an alternate version of Tessa came from another dimension, the two soon finding love, marriage and even children, produced using the advanced sciences of ZorTel Industries. After shutting down the company and splitting it up into various smaller companies, Zorielle moved with her family to an island in the South Pacific to enjoy life with children, friends and the gynoids and androids she created. She still takes up the suit on some occasions, piloting with all the skill she used to have.

"When I look on in your eyes then I find that I'll do fine, when I look on in your eyes then I'll do better." - '74-'75 by The Connells

    Zortel III
Jessica May Kade, Current Residence: Rolando Island, South Pacific. 2 years old(Looks early 20's)
Jessica Kade is a Nanohuman, created from the DNA of Hannah Rolando and infused with nanomites after an accident which cost Hannah her life. Jessica was born as a robot, and the Nanomites soon began to refine her body, even as she kept Hannah's 'soul' alive in her brain. When Hannah was strong enough, she was transfered to a clone body, and Jess began to live her life as herself.

Working for ZorTel Industries, she soon became friends with, and was adopted by Anastasia Kade and fell in love with Kiyarii, the two are now happily together, and live with their family, friends and two pets, Meow and Minuh. A somewhat eccentric, odd, exuberent and excitable girl, Jess has a lot of common sense and can cheer almost anyone up, and as her work as Zortel explored other dimensions and fought crime with a smile and a good heart, and will still do so sometimes if needed.

"When life is not so nice remember this advice, put a drop of vanilla behind each ear and you'll smell like a cookie all day." - Smell Like A Cookie All Day by Lemon Demon

    Number Nine
Nene Lucrezia Ninnezt, Current Residence: Doctor MacAllister's lab, somewhere under Paragon. 1 year old (Looks late 20's)
Number Nine of Twelve is an experimental Chronomanipulation Gynoid built by Crey Industries, with Doctor Novikov overseeing construction. A staff member working on the program uploaded rogue AI into Number Nine, which caused her to reject her programmed AI, and destroy the other units before escaping, her sensors guiding her towards Doctor Temporis. She sought sanctury and soon began to develop, becoming more and more sentient and able to interact with humans.

Nene, as she prefers to be called, often visits Pocket D and the Pits of Hell, can now wear a synthetic skin to make herself appear more human and is best friends with Jane Darc. She considers Doctor MacAllister to be her father figure, and has possible romantic feelings for Silent Tempest member Star Crusader. She used to work at DATA's Rikti Translation Unit, but decided to quit and now works for a cafe in Prometheus Park, Atlas Park.

"I can feel a sense of time slipping through the hour glass, and it shimmers in my eyes." - Through The Looking Glass by Machinae Supremacy

    Madame Midknight
Jane Jasmine Darc, Current Residence: Kings Row. 26 years old (Looks mid 20's)
Raised from the dead after tripping on a drunken walk outside mid gaming session by necromancer Julias Romandi, Jane Darc soon arrived in Paragon and met with various heroes. After becoming Madame Celinda Von Dorne's apprentice (The original Madame Midknight), she began learning magic and quickly adjusted to her new unlife, gaining new friends as well in unlikely places, including a kind of fatherly/daughterly relationship with former Council/5th Column Vampyr Archon John Walsers.

After Madame Celinda's death, Jane inherited the title and some abilities, as well as most of Celinda's possessions. She soon made a name for herself in a rather unusual niche as 'mediator to the living impaired, ghostbuster, parapsychologist' and a number of other odd jobs, including GM for several tabletop games at the Wizard's Well. She is currently dating Guardian's of Destiny and Freedom Corps member Dark Stone, and is best friends with Nene Ninnezt. She is a rather unusual woman, with a pet rat familiar named Boo and all manner of odd pop cult references and mannerisms.

"Got skills, I'm a champion at D&D" - White and Nerdy by Weird Al Yankovic

    Cauter
Lancelot Jake Silverstone, Current Residence: Atlas Park. 24 years old (Looks mid 20's)
Lance, as he prefers to be known, was born with a rather unique mutation that means he secretes petrochemical sweat. Discovering his powers when a man flicked cigarette ash on him, causing him to ignite and nearly suffocate to death, he was fitted with a protective suit by SERAPH, and a plan started to form in his mind. Using technical know how gleamed from books and his meagre allowance from his mother, he began to customize and colour the suit, until the hero Cauter was born, and started trying to do the right thing. At first he put on a facade of being in it for the money and fame, but as he started heroing, he realised there was more to this.

Lance still has his 'Burning Sensation' personality, but most of the time when he talks to others, especially girlfriend Lyn-Legend he drops it. The two have a shy relationship, both being a bit unsure and devoted to their heroing work, resulting in often having to cancel on dates as one or the other get jobs, and Lance himself went missing over the christmas break in Bloody Bay. He is often seen shooting through the sky on patrol in his Firebrand armour, ready to swoop in and save the day.

"I'm going to win, trust in me, I've come to save this world, and in the end I'll get the girl." - Hero by Machinae Supremacy

    Storm Sapphire
Officer Emily Preston, Current Residence: Steel Canyon. 28 years old (Looks mid/late 20's)
Emily Preston used to be Channel 7 Weathergirl, on their morning show Breakfast Paragon. Until the Circle of Thorns kiddnapped her to extract the elemental spirit of air that she had inside her unknown from birth. Rescued by the hero The Telepath, it was still too late and the spirit was removed from her. Whilst staying in hospital in Atlas, the Kheldian of a recently deceased PPD officer made an offer to bond with her, seeing as it needed a new body, and her ordeal had left her weakened. The two joined and Emily slowly came to realise her abilities, and was fasttracked into PPD Awakened Division due to the memories of the rules and techniques her Kheldian brought with it.

Now an officer in the Division, Emily is often seen on patrol or enjoying a cup of coffee in Pocket D, though there is something off about her. She seems to have a dislike of relationships and physical contact, and often seems a bit depressed or rather angry, especially when certain comments are made. She knows Tiger Dark a little more than others, considering the fight they had may have been responsible for putting her on the straight and narrow, and she was also responsible for the arrest of the now escaped Jan Boa.

"But water isn't always what you see, another surface lies beneath. Can you see this isn't really me? No, this is somone else. I am just beneath the surface." "A shadow pulls me down beneath. Maybe this is who I used to be, but this is someone else. I am just beneath the surface." - Ghost (Beneath The Surface) by Machinae Supremacy

    Rushmore
Thomas Robert Greendale, Current Residence: Galaxy City. 19 years old (Looks late teens/early 20's)
Thomas is a hero in his home town of Keystone, South Dakota. He and childhood friend, now Peacebringer and Vanguard member Cindy Lou, often fought crime affecting the city, and earnt himself the cape of a former hero from the city known as Yankee Rose for saving the town from a super-powered villain known as Chaingang. He wears his cape with pride and as a reminder of back home, and his parents messages to do the right thing. He has now come to Paragon City to make a difference in the big leagues, keeping the simple advice of his father in his mind.

"If you're rich or poor and in trouble, I'll help you. If you're rich or poor and causing trouble, I'll stop you. It's the right thing to do. The American thing. Everyone is equal."

"I need you to trust who I'm going to be, and in everything I'm going to do. For I'm not afraid of what I don't know for understanding is all that I yearn. But what is for sure is I'm going to go, I'm going to live, I'm going to learn." - Right Before Your Eyes by Hoobastank

    Alraune
Dinah Toni Ewers, Current Residence: Port Oakes. 25 years old (Looks early/mid 20's)
Dinah was an ordinary university student, well not quite. Dinah is pretty, Dinah is smart, and Dinah was an environmental activist. Leading her friends on a protest to the Argyle Industrial plant near the forests of Salamanca, things soon turned for the worst and Dinah was sepearted from her friends, beaten unconcious and left for dead. Hardly any know the full story of what happened after, but Dinah came back a changed woman six months later. Taking her things from her untouched dorm room, she made her way off, wondering what to do with her newfound powers.

Dinah isn't a hero in the strictest sense, but she does what she can to protect the environment at Port Oakes. Something of a new age woman, she's rather open and easy to talk to, and used to bartend at Pocket D before quitting due to job stresses and annoyances. She wears a rather revealing attire which allows her to more easily grown thorns and vines from inside her body, as well as rather beautiful blue flowers she calls Ewerblütes, and apart from being friends with some of her former patrons, is known to be having a relationship of sorts with Energyneer.

"She blooms like a flower, as she opens up and wallows in the light." - Rogue World Asylum by Machinae Supremacy

    Jan Boa
Jamelia Kerri Andu, Current Residence: Port Oakes. 20 years old (Looks early/mid 20's)
Jan is a rather unique being, a humanoid snake that seems to be releated to the Snakes on Mercy Isle. What is known of her physiology is rather interesting, and would probably make an interesting study piece. Not that Jan would let them. After having gone to jail once, she's been broken out and is now doing things semi-legitimately as owner of Boa Personel Services, operating in Port Oakes and offering a range of services from manpower to intelligence. Dispite her brutish looks, Jan is a smart one, and is a skilled chemist especially when it comes to poisons, antidotes and drugs.

Ruthless, cunning and smart are a dangerous combination, especially when backed up with her pistols, her venomnous nature and her faithful, well paid and well trained employees. A dangerous foe or valuble ally in general.

"The union of the snake is on the rise, moving up it's gonna race, gonna break through the borderline" - Union of the Snake by Duran Duran

    Fist of Faust
Ty Mitchell Bronson, Current Residence Cap Au Diable. 24 years old (Looks mid 20's)
Ty is a dockhand and semi-professional wrestler from the Rogue Isles. He's also a very large red demon, but doesn't seem that evil, more concerned with the simple things in life and his passion for sports entertainment. He's also been seen attending church services on a Sunday. A rather friendly individual, he'll talk with anyone at a bar, and has revealed that his mother moved from Paragon with him when he was born due to his apperance, and that while life in Haven wasn't great, it was good enough for him to turn out right.

"I know it's safe to say, inner daemons and devils I slay. The battle rages on inside, I hope it stops to say goodbye." - Change by Drone

    Count Crimson
Schabir Zuma, Current Residence: Mercy Island, 52 years old (Looks late 40's/early 50's)
Count Crimson hails from the reaches of South Africa, and from the aura that crackles around him is visibly of strong Mu bloodline. A rather imposing and evil looking man, he seems rather cultured, urbane and polite in conversation, and from talking to him it can easily be revealed that he is here looking for his kidnapped daughter Carmen, and is ready to utilize the depths of the powers in his blood to find her and make those responsible suffer.

"Even though there are demons in the shadows, I have no intention of turning back." "I seek only where to find you, one day at a time I'll try to make sure I'll be besides you, again once more be the one who guides you." - Missing Link by Machinae Supremacy

Can be contacted on: Tells, in game e-mail, forum PM's and out of game on IRC and MSN if you know me well enough to have access to those details.
Times on: Evenings and weekends mostly, depending on college work.

  2. ((Funny you should say that Junior... because I am channeling this post from our very own _Max_ himself! *Channel channel channel*))

    Max's Response.

A quiet canal-side café in Founder's Falls. Maximillian is on his lunch-break, after spending the morning taking down a Council base, still working for his employers The Masquerade Department. He sipped on the cup of coffee in his hand, before setting it down on the metal table to his side, before reaching into his inside jacket pocket, and producing a packet of cigarettes. Taking one out, he placed it between his lips, and reached around for a lighter.

“Here you go” a man's voice said, as a lit match was held in front of Max, who used it to light his cigarette, before eyeing the man suspiciously. “You want something,so get it over and done with.” The man fanned out the match, and threw it into the canal, yelping in surprise as he found his face being forced to the table surface. “Don't litter, it's bad for you.” The man felt the grip on his shoulder loosen, and stood up straight, sorting out his collar and tie.

    “Umm...I was wondering if you'd sign this sir? It's for..for...the ..er..real heroes.” Max snatched the petition from the man's shaking hand, and began to read it, taking long drags of his cigarette as he did so. After what seemed like a small eternity, Max placed the petition on the table. “You ever read any comics?” The man looked at Max nervously. “N-No...sir. Why do you...ask?” Max took another drag, and replied;

“One of the big companies just had a large-scale civil war, didn't turn out so good for some people. Sure, these circumstances are different, but if you [censored] off the wrong people, start making it seem like you don't appreciate the work these spandexed do-gooders do, then you're going to have yourself a rather bad situation. Maybe it'll just be a city-wide strike on part of the 'heroes', maybe you'll have 'heroes' forgetting to save you when you're mugged, because they saw you doing this petition. Maybe you'll say they can't do that, and so will the powers-that-be, and maybe they'll decide to try and stop the heroes, try making their work compulsory. Maybe the people who risk their lives for you every day will be rather unhappy and rebel slightly, maybe we'll have our very own mini civil war on our hands, all because you're an ungrateful sod.”

The man stood there silently, biting on his lip.

“And maybe that won't happen. Question is, you want to take the chance?”

    “Are..are you a hero...sir?”

“Hell no. I'm one of the people who has no powers, and goes out to help people like you every day. I'm a guy who has my wits and a couple of guns to keep me alive, and I'm paid by the government to do so. I'm a guy who knows what it's like for the costumed ones, having to deal with far worse than your average doughnut-guzzling cop. They're bigger targets for the 'bad guys', the bigger guns are used on them, and yet you say the cops have got it bad. You think every hero out there can take a bullet and not die? Think again, and get out of my sight. You obviously haven't thought this through at all.”

The man noticed the smell of smoke, and saw the petition going up in flames as Max let his cigarette rest on it, before throwing the remains into the canal. “That may have been littering, but you're spouting worse rubbish from your mouth. Now scram, my coffee's going cold.”
  3. Jessica Kade, the third person to bear the hero name Zortel, smiled brightly as she was stopped in the street, a bag of shopping in one hand. "Oh, you would like me to sign your autograph?" she asked the young man holding a pad out towards her.

"Oh, no Miss Kade, it's a petition." He replied.

"Please, call me Jess! And oooh, what are you petitioning for?" she asked with a curious look.

"Well, it's a petition saying that there would be a better way to homage heroes than statues, and that we should also make sure we praise the other heroes, the ones without super-powers."

"Oh! Like Nevermore? And The Moral? And Velvet Vengence?"

"Oh, no, I mean like... policemen, and nurses, and doctors-"

"And vets! Because they keep our pets healthy and good!" Jess said brightly, nodding eagerly.

"Umm, yeah... vets too." The young hero said with a bit of an odd look at the exuberently excitable and eccentric twenty something woman in front of him.

"Well, in that case, I will gladly sign!" Jess smiled, taking a pen and putting her signature on the paper, before blinking. "Ooooh! There is a new flower store! I will go and get some for Kiyarii, because she likes flowers with their prettyness and colorfulness and the nice smell and there are sometimes bees in flowers which are bad if they buzz out and sting you because that would be like 'Ow!' but the bees use the nectar to make honey and transfer pollen to other plants to make more flowers which are cute and nice and lovely and generally good all round!"

The young hero, slightly wide-eyed at her breathless explaination of the aesthetic points of flowers, backed off a little. "Yeah, you do that... uhh... have a nice day, Jess."
  4. Max is currently unsubscribed and therefore can't deal with the invitation and promotions, unfortunetly.
  5. Do we have to?

That Creepy RPer thread was rather hilarious, still reading through it.
  6. I still remember Nevermore and Ravensclaw's training session in the arena, where my ickle level 19 MA/SR trounced the level 32 Claws/SR several times in a row. That was fun.

And the Rooftop Generation (Go teen Mutants!) versus (evil Rikti Catherine) Catch!
  7. Lately at Pocket D:

Alraune has been suspended from work for a week, after losing her cool with a customer. She seemed in a bad mood in Pocket D on Monday, and in a slightly off mood on Sunday. She chatted briefly to Nightschild on Monday, as well as Energyneer, and Alraune was rather off with her, especially when the prospect of work and money came up. She loitered about the club in various areas trying to clear her head before chatting to Roselin Thorne and Lady Patriot, as well as Raven Gaiasbane and was brought a drink by an unnamed individual (Stage). She later left to go home and clear her head.

Number Nine was seen chatting to Josie Ironside several times, and on Monday rather startlingly had an apperance change, which was met with some approving comments.

A rather odd Freakshow member going by the name of Darren or t3h 7r4n5f0rIVI3r has been at Pocket D for the past two nights, buying people drinks, being sociable and preaching his unique brand of anti-capitalism and anarchy, and had a rather strange LCD device built into his chin which would randomly deliver messages in l33tsp34k.
  8. Alraune/Dinah: "You going to order something or not?"

Just a quick little thing I did earlier before I left for college, of everyone's favourite barmaid.
  9. Yesterday, the boss of Boa Personel Services, Jan Boa teamed up with friend (and admirer) Eco System for some assisstance in raiding one of Dr. Aeon's labs. The two and their retinue of associates left no man standing in the base, before stealing some skin samples for one of Jan's employees. The two enjoyed some bantering and joking, and thoroughly enjoyed giving the Arachnos troops inside a case of, as Eco put it, Acute Lead Poisoning.
  10. Sadly not, no. Much like the devs didn't consider we'd use supergroup bases as personal appartments, they didn't consider we'd want to walk.
  11. Last Last night in Pocket D: (Thursday, that is)

Alraune tended bar and made small talk with various patrons, and also flirted a lot with Energyneer, before her shift ended and the two departed.

Jan Boa arrived and chatted with Lady Cosmos at the bar about a number of things, before the two parted ways and Jan headed home.

    Last night at Pocket D:

Number Nine turned up rather late in the evening (After spending much of the evening on WoW with some friends), in a rather tired looking state and shifted to her formal-casual clothing. She then chatted to Lotus X and Arrow Flame before her right side of her body became unresponsive, as well as several other parts. Attempts by Lotus and Arc to move her were fruitless, as her weight reduction systems were offline, and after a while of standing there Nene was soon able to restore minor power and clunk off home to rest fully.

Alraune turned up for the late shift, chatting to the patrons at the bar, and gave Zeyna a drink on the house, and one to take to Nightschild. She also talked to Roselin Thorne, Justice Goldheart, Josie Ironside, Lady Cosmos and others, bantering and joking with people, and generally having a good time. Later on Lost Vahzilok came to join her, and the two served until Alraune clocked off, chatting with Rose, Josie and Justice for a while, and got Justice some paint that was leftover from the old Paragon Dance Party before heading home.

Jan Boa turned up, stretching out before uncoiling to her full length and slithering about a bit to relax her muscles, and chatted to other patrons and the bartender before heading home.
  12. Where on Earth is Nene?

That's the question undead Parapsychologist, ghostbuster and mediator to the living impaired Madame Midknight, aka Jane Darc has been wondering.

Number Nine, while searching through and decrypting files from Crey given to her by possible love interest Star Crusader found possible whereabouts of her creator, one Doctor Novikov, in Japan. Bidding farewell to Doctor Temporis, the father figure in her life, Nene hurried off, forgetting to tell her best friend as she performed a dimensional incursion to Kyoto, Japan, where she began her search for the mastermind behind the Chronomanipulation Unit series of androids and gynoids.

Following a paper-trail, electronic trail, and using some persuasive skills, Nene soon crossed over into Hong Kong, following the paths she could find, hopefully to the man who built her. Numerous Crey officers got battled in the process, and Nene headed onto Mainland China, where in a fierce battle in an underground bunker, Nene's use of her chronomanipulation abilites lead to the destruction of ADAOS, a bodyguard unit built by Doctor Novikov. Sustaining some injuries to her chassis, Nene rested, recovered and found information pointing towards Seoul, South Korea. With her body repaired, Nene set off on her continuing journey.

Jane Darc was getting increasingly worried, and spoke to Doctor MacAllister, finding out that Nene was currently in China. A little put off with her best friend for not telling her, or even inviting her, Jane started to tap into her magical arts to try and see if Nene needed her.

Which Nene did indeed need. Tracking Novikov down to a secret facility in South Korea, she found herself face to face with her elderly creator, and a new batch of Chronomanipulation Units. An hour of talking passed, with Nene learning much of her past, before the Doctor ordered the Neo-Number units to take Nene down for an autopsy and system debug.

Nene wasn't having this, and with tremendous effort managed to circumvent her Chronomanipulation limiters, taking down a Neo-Number One, Four, Six, Nine, Eleven and Twelve before being overpowered and captured. Impressed at how one inferior unit took down Six of his latest creations, the Doctor soon began to experiment on Nene, gleaming much from her, amazed at how far she had progressed since the day she destroyed the lab and eleven other Chronomanipulation Units. The process wasn't that pleasent, and the Doctor was even more impressed to discover Nene feeling pain.

Fortunetly, Jane was finally able to locate Nene, and dashing out of her appartment, she bumped into The Burning Sensation himself, Cauter. Cauter, once debriefed, quickly agreed to help, and the two harnessed the power of a Chaos Gate to teleport into Seoul, alerting the South Korean Goverment of magical tresspassers.

Speeding their way to Nene's location, the battle was soon joined with Jane and Lance bursting into the room Nene was trapped in, and freeing her. The Neo-Number units started to attack again, and finding her GunARM was useless, Jane called upon the power of Warforge, her golem, and quickly started to lay into the Neo-Number units with her armoured form and powerful axe. Though they quickly dealt with the Neo-Numbers, they started Temporal Revisioning, and reforming to repaired versions of themselves. Cauter told Jane to let his girlfriend, Lyn-Legend know he loved her if they didn't get out of this alive, and soon began a frenzied attack on six of the Neo-Numbers, drawing fire and pushing his Firebrand armour to the limit.

Jane was able to deal with the human forces coming to the doctor's aid while Nene recovered, and soon restarting her Chronomanipulation Engine, she was able to perform a series of temporal disjunctions on the Neo-number units, destroying them and the engines inside them. The three fell back into Doctor Novikov's office, barricading themselves in to recover, and the Doctor himself was soon dealt with, by his own hand no less as he tried to escape and ended up trapping himself in an eternal second.

With a Situation M in place in the Crey Facility, and the South Korean metahumans attatched to the military approaching, it was up to the three of them to fight their way out to the surface and into the forests nearby, where they were able to lose their persuers for long enough for CIRCE to get a lock on and teleport the three back to Paragon City, where they had a -lot- of explaining to do.

And so our three heroes arrived today at around Five PM back in Paragon, and were soon contacted by Freedom Corps for a bit of a slapped wrist. The three of them are now banned from entering South Korea, and Jane had her Lineage 2 account cancelled. She was more annoyed with that than anything else.

With the mastermind behind Crey's Chronomanipulation unit gone, and all existing records and units bar Nene destroyed, the timestream is safe for now, at least from that threat.
  13. Last night at Pocket D:

Wow, it was a fairly busy night.

Alraune wasn't bartending last night, due to taking the day off to rest and recover. And sunbathe nude atop her apartment block to get the sunlight she needed.

Isaac Anderson and Juan Ross turned up for a quiet drink, chatting about Uni, college work and the like, having a cuddle and just enjoying each other's company before the two headed off.

The Fist of Faust turned up at the bar and started talking to Miss Ellie, making light chatter with her. Ellie seemed a little nervous at first, or at least uncomfortable, but the two soon got talking properly, chatting about wrestling and marriage and other things. Ty (Fist) is a friendly guy at the bar, and when Justice Goldheart arrived, the three soon got chatting. Later on Malice Malicia turned up, and her costume was admired by Ty before he invited her over. Ellie got a phone call and had to leave to help a friend, which was a shame as Ty was enjoying their wrestling chats. Ty soon invited Malice to join them, and the three got chatting about various things, before moving away to the other bar (Away from the evils of $3 cola!).

There, Justice had a bit too much to drink, and soon dashed off to the toilets. Malice said "We should go and check on her." to which Ty replied that Malice could, but he wasn't going in the ladies bathroom. When she came back, Ty recommended she drunk plenty of water before bed, and after some more chat, Malice and Ty had to leave. A comment from Malice along the lines of "The night is young, but my client isn't..." led Justice and Ty to believe that Malice was a prostitue, which by the way she was dressed wasn't surprsing. Malice said this wasn't the case, and the two headed off their seperate ways, leaving Justice to walk about for a bit.

Alranue arrived for a drink of water and to check up on things, having suffered from quite the bad sugar crash after her body processed all the fruit juice she was drinking from the past few days. A while later, Nightschild came up to the bar to order, and Dinah and Nick chatted a bit about how she was feeling. Nick mentioned he was giving the three girls at his table (Roselin Thorne, Lady Patriot, Ms. Behave) some time to chat, and Dinah glinced some info about the relationship troubles, and chatted to Nick a little about some other things, including him missing her nude sunbathing. Dinah was happy that Nick was regaining his humour in that regard, and he left to head back to the table when he noticed Sarah ran off, before going to find her.

After a while, Mary (Ms. Behave) left, and Dinah headed over to chat to Rose, thanking her for the advice she gave last night, and then started to talk about dancing, drinks, and diamonds. Justice arrived to see how Dinah was doing, and mentioned the drinks prices. She also noticed how tall Dinah was, and called her an 'Amazon Queen', which Dinah rather liked the sound of. More talk happened, including underwear, due to Isaac's grumblings and Dinah chucking him a pair of boxers as a joke, wrapped around one of her thorns. Mary turned up to get her water, before heading off, and after a while Nick turned up at the table again as Dinah and Rose talked about exotic dancing and Dinah's experiences with it earlier in her career.

Chats about abilities happened, and Dinah grew a blue flower from her hand, called an Ewerblüte, for her last name and the german word for bloom, and she gave the sweet smelling flower to Justice. Sarah left, and chats about Dinah's anatomy and physiology happened, that she was part plant, if she could get pregnant and many jokes and puns about flowers, bees, nectar, pollen and the like, which helped brighten Dinah's mood. Rose fell asleep, and Mary headed off. After being woken up, Rose left as well, and Nick, Dinah and Justice chatted.

After a while, the hour got rather late (or early) and Justice headed off, waiting outside the Port Oakes door to walk Justice home, and Dinah gave Nick a little pep talk (and a kiss on the cheek) as he walked her to the exit, and he headed off to the Golden Giza. Heading out to meet Justice, the two walked back to Dinah's appartment, taking on some ruffians at that time, stopping a case of grand theft auto, and Dinah's hallucinogenic spores caused a bit of a tumble between a group of Lost, before arriving near the hospital and parting ways.
  14. Well, in Beta on the forums there was a poll run by our friendly rednames, and Union was chosen to be the unoffical RP server.

    IC rumours

[Could be heard being discussed throughout Port Oakes from this afternoon]

"Hey, you know that blonde chick that works in the bar? Friend of mine said she was spotted nude on the roof of a building, get this, sunbathing. At this time of year?"
  17. Last night at Pocket D:

Alraune turned up for her shift at work, it was mostly quiet for the first part of the evening, and chatted to Tormentress and a rabbit-eared person in samurai armour, who’s name escapes me. Tormetress asked to be called Tress instead of Miss, making a remark asking if she reminded Alraune of a grade school teacher. Dinah grinned and responded that if Tress was her teacher, Grade school would have been more interesting.

Tress also mentioned that Echo Hammer had spoken of Alraune, though Tress mentioned they were good things when Dinah asked. She then got a phonecall and went off to speak to someone, telling Dinah to get a whiskey for her ready for when she came back.

It was quiet for a while before Roselin Thorne turned up, ordering some wine, followed shortly by Lady Patriot and then Shydow Flysh. Dinah served them their orders, and chatted to an older-seeming, armour clad Zian who then went to talk to Nightschild’s friends about getting some clothing, as her own had torn.

Energyneer arrived, who Dinah treated very warmly and fondly, getting her a peach schnapps and chatting to her with some flirting going on, and when Unbesiegbar called Alraune a barwench, well, the comment wasn’t well received by either Alraune or Promethea, and they were glad to see him leave.

Tormentress returned and got her drink from Dinah, and Echo arrived and chatted briefly to Dinah while ordering before turning her attention to Tress. Buisness was as usual, getting a little busy later, and Dinah started to show signs of feeling a little ill, rubbing at her forehead and generally looking a little in pain. Longshot Lorrie asked if Dinah was okay, and she smiled and said she was, before feeling even more ill later. Locking up and calling an end to her shift early, she made her way around the bar instead of over the counter and said hello to Justice Goldheart, asking how she was and chatting briefly before she made her way to the second bar for a time out, resting in one of the booths. She swayed a little as she walked. She went over to speak to Mitch, the bartender at that bar, and ordered a glass of water, looking a little shakey and pale.

Lady Patriot and Roselin waved over at her from where they were sitting, and she gave a smile and waved back before heading to get her bag, dabbing at her face with a hankerchief.
X-Saviour came over to speak to them, so Roselin excused herself and went to speak with Alraune, sensing something was up with her. Dinah was looking more and more unwell, and dropped the glass of water she was drinking from. Nightschild arrived and was a little concerned for Dinah, especially when she almost slumped over into the broken glass under her, and the two guided her over to a chair to sit, Alraune being very weak legged and ill.

Roselin said that Alraune was feeling very warm, and almost like she was growing inside. Where her hand was on Alraune’s shoulder, yellow-y green vines started to grow out and cling to Rose’s hand, looking like grass that had been hidden from the sun for a while. Nightschild, using his senses, said that Alraune seemed very weak and almost like she was wilting.

Using her skill with plants to try and get the vines to grow, Rose succeeded a little before they shriveled up, and Dinah looked a little more than unwell. Noticing this, Lady Patriot and X-Saviour headed over to see what they could do to help. Using one of her spirit tree seeds, Rose grew one and it aided Dinah a little, her thorns and vinebuds that had formed on her bare skin starting to retreat back into her, and she looked a little less peaky.

Talking about things, Roselin suggested Dinah might need some more sun, and after asking if anyone knew of a good doctor that wouldn’t send a blood sample off to Arachnos or somewhere, and Roselin mentioned someone at a clinic in Cap Au Diable. Alraune then joked that she might take advantage of her rooftop access to do some topless sunbathing, and hoped that no one flew over. A few comments from the others got her grinning, and she was pleased that Nick was able to make some similar comments after hearing him mention something to her about that a few nights ago. Still a little unsteady on her feet, she assured everyone she could get home fine and shakily made her way out of Pocket D.

Demon-human thing The Fist of Faust arrived and, after finding out one of the bars was out of Thai chili bar nuts, he went to the other and found what he was looking for, starting to devour said nuts and drink his cider in pretty equal amounts. He made a few comments to the group to his right, before he got talking to Justice Goldheart.

She was a little worried and offput by his Apperance, but some friendly conversation soon hopefully lowered those barriers, and they got onto discussions about religion, theology and Ty’s job as a dockworker in Cap Au Diable, and how he wanted to be a professional metawrestler.

There were some really interesting lines happening to do with Justice’s religion and Ty’s background, though I think the most noteworthy was Justice asking if Ty wanted to come to church to redeem himself. Ty didn’t think he had anything to redeem, when Justice mentioned his lineage, which he described as having ‘a fair bit of brimstone in my bloodstream’. Ty quipped that there wasn’t much he could do about that other than going back in time and aborting himself, but that would be a sin itself. They chatted briefly about Ty’s childhood, before he bid the woman farewell and went home to sleep, ready for another days work at the docks.

    Addendum!

Big Lunk paid for a bottle of best whiskey with a diamond, which Dinah pocketed and then put her own money in the till to cover it. She'll probably want to get that checked out.

    Funky work, Vahiki!
  19. But if the person isn't in their hero costume, and in their secret identity? Or not even a hero at all? Or in disguise? Checking bios and sending tells first is better than assumption.
  20. Earlier on Monday:

Jan Boa, accompianed by bodyguard Cobra arrived at Garden Jeweller's in Port Oakes with a fire-proof safebox full of jewellery for Roselin Thorne to appraise and buy. Included among the box was some other pieces of Snake culture, that have been unconsecrated by Arachnos-sent theives and thus free for Jan to have. Jan sold several of the pieces to Roselin, along with some of the other jewellery she brought, which was payment from a job she was on.

Included amongst the jewellery was a lovely white gold set in a floral design, including a broach, necklace, bracelets, rings and earings. Roselin snapped these up quickly, and after some discussion, Jan and Cobra walked away from the store with US$50,000 and an $80 silver signet ring for Cobra.

    Last night at Pocket D:

Alraune turned up to bartend, serving various people including Echo Hammer, Big Lunk, Energyneer and a very hyper Fallen Patriot. She also went to see Nightschild and Zian, checking they were okay and making sure the young girl was fine. She agreed to help Zian if Nick wasn't about, and headed back to the bar. A pager message soon distracted Alraune however, and she had to head off.

((This was due to me feeling a little bleh to be playing Alraune at that moment))

Jan Boa turned up, and soon met Detective Benedict, the two starting to chat about various things including powers and living on the Rogue Isle, as well as Jan's somewhat unique physiology. The two were visited by a rather hyper Fallen Patriot, who rather than being drunk, admitted to being under the effect of some sort of drug. She also apparently liked Jan's way of talking, and among other things like hugging the truck in Pocket D, soon went off to talk to Roseling and Nightschild.

Jan and Blaze (Benedict) left to talk at the bar near the staircaise up by the window, talking about powers, Jan's success with her jobs today and some more little chat, before sleep caught up with both of them and they went their seperate ways.

Alraune came back and took a look about Pocket D, before making her way back to the Rogue Isle. By the elevator, she bumped into Nightschild, who asked if she had seen any of the Militia about. Mentioning she thought she saw one of the members and giving a brief description, Nick said goodbye and went off to find the person.

    Meanwhile:

Where has Guardians of Destiny member Number Nine been? She hasn't been spotted lately, and certainly hasn't come to aid her friends in the Silent Tempest, dispite the troubles proclaimed on the news. Where has Nene got to?

Even the cadaverously cool Madame Midknight herself has no idea, and Jane is starting to get a little worried. A ghostly purple form of energy has been seen drifting over the city lately, much like Jane's Ethereal Projection.
  21. We're not looking for members currently, no, and when we do, we'll probably be after a Peacebringer and a Warshade to form a 7AT group.
  22. Ohayo! Last time on Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime!

Hasu Hime and Sakura Hime were chatting in the Níwa about life, the quietness of their enemies from the Corrupting Darkness, and how they were dealing with their powers as guardians of justice, love and nature. Bara Hime turned up a short while later, a little late as she had homework, then Yuri Hime did, also having defeated the evil Homework Youma.

Talking about how quiet it was on the Youma front, the girls decided to do some real crimefighting, and took out an Arachnos cell hidden deep under Kings Row! Not even criminals can stand against the forces of nature and love! With the criminals taken out, the girls headed outside when Sakura's Youma Hunter picked up something odd!

An odd signal was coming from a building in Kings Row! Plotting how to get there, her belt shimmered and suddenly the backpacks they recieved from lasttime appeared on her back! Thinking about how to get to the place, it sprouted wings! The others soon had their backpacks arrive, and the Hana Hime took to the skies to arrive quickly, all finding the experience thrilling!

Having arrived, they headed inside to find something really weird happening! The building appeared to be shifting bits in and out of reality! Fiery red walls and pillars were appearing, along with armoured men cloaked in flames! The girls, assisted by Tuxedo Saviour, fought their way through the burning leigon of troops, frequently having visions of a group of people talking!

There was people of steel, water, wind, earth and fire, and even a group of girls in kimonos talking to them at some point! The girls made it up to the top floor and defeated the lead firey-clad man, and the building started to shift back to normal... but!

On a throne sat a man in splendidly made armour, though instead of being on fire, his skin was dark and flecked with cracks of red embers! He spoke in a weird lanaguage, and Yuri Hime was only able to work out one phrase: Lord Metal, which was said before he disappeared!

Tuxedo Saviour quickly vanished after this, and the girls split up for the night to head home.

Who was the firey clad man? Who is Lord Metal? What was making that building like it was?

Find out next time on Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime!
  23. Alraune said for Haru to see DJ Zero, then she came back when Alraune was getting stressed out and at the end of her shift, so she said 'sure, whatever' after finding out that Haru did have some needed skills. Just clearing that up.

"Hey, yeah, you know that fit new bird they got in Pocket D serving? Alrane or something like that? Yeah, guy I know heard from a guy he knows in Port Oakes that she was spotted fighting a bunch of people in a factory! Yeah, I know, she had like, spines coming out of her everywhere. What a turn off. They say she had a real beef with them for dumping chemicals so went to shut them down. That's what this guy's brother's girlfriend said, as her brother works there!"
