High above in the spiritual planes of the kami and elements, a lush green island with marble structures and pillars floated through the ether, shimmering drops of water running off the edges and sparkling like rainbow drops to the expanse below. Resting in the centre of a concentric set of circular pathways among vaulted archways and trees sat a large throne, surrounded by tendrils of vines, a dazzling array of flowers on each. Sat upon it was a pale, almost glowing woman, her skin smooth and white and her hair like blades of soft grass cascading in waves down her back. Her serene expression turned to one of pain as a dark wind swept across the isle, the plants waivering and wilting a little as it passed.

Hana-Joo, the flower queen, sagged a little in her throne. "The Corrupting Darkness spreads from Gaia to even this sacred place." her voice chimed like a bell. "And while I am powerless against it... maybe I can..."

Standing a little shakily, she made her way towards a marble round table, an altar set upon it with several glinting gemstones, each in a different shape of a flower. "Perhaps I can call on a new generation of Hana Hime... ones that will fight against the Corrupting Darkness and help nature heal, spreading beauty, good and life throughout the world."

Raising her hands in the air, the gems rose up, each one glowing with a differing colour. "Yes, it's time once again..." she smiled softly, touching each with her fingertips. Lifting her hands in the air, she sent the gems flying up from the island in the ether, through the planes towards the earth. Each one searching for their rightful owner...

Megan Andrews stretched out on the bench in Gemini Park, twisting and turning a little to get more comfortable. A dark red bike, the basket on the front full with bags of shopping, rested against the back of the bench as she rested up from her ride back from the shops. She must have been in her mid to late teens, though possibly a bit older from how tall she was and athletics-honed muscles.

The day had been long and tiring, and whilst she knew she should get home, part of her just wanted to rest there and relax in the cool, crisp winter afternoon. Her eyes slowly slipped shut, dozing lightly.

A light pink glittering bolt swerved and swept its way down, faintly heart-shaped as it feel from the skies to land on Megan's chest. Pulsing lightly, the gem was in the shape of a cherry blossom, and with another pulse, it sunk below the thick wool of her jumper.

A clatter, followed shortly by a loud splash woke Megan from her doze. Sitting up, she rubbed at her long brown hair, pulled back carefully into a ponytail. Another clatter followed, and hopping to her feet she headed off to investigate. A pair of men in thick protective clothing were dumping barrels into the water under the bridge.

"Damn chemical dumpers... where's the police when you need them..." Megan muttered, looking about. She stumbled a little at the feeling of a light surge of energy in her heart, making her body tingle. "What's going on...?" she blinked, another surge passing through her. Watching the men unloading the barrels was making the surging pulses rush faster through her, her anger overiding her sense of confusion.

"I've... got to... stop this!"

Megan gasped out as a pulse of pink light surrounded her, shifting her into the ether. Looking around in confusion, Megan blinked as her clothes faded into a shower of cherry blossoms, before slowly starting to swirl around her, forming into a pair of high boots, a long dress covered with a puffy-sleeved shirt and scarf. Her arms flicked out to the sides, braclets inscribed with an etching of a cherry tree appearing before waving her palms across her forehead, a golden tiara inset with a pink gem, and a mask of the same colour appearing. Arcing back, a matching belt with a large jewel in appeared around her waist as her brown hair turned a soft, cherry pink. With a shimmering 'pop' she landed back in the park.

"Ano... what happened..." Megan wondered, before a soft voice echoed through her mind. Pausing, she listened to the voice before nodding and leaping forwards, down the cliff towards the waters edge.

"In the name of Gaia I, Sakura Hime, will punish you for this!" the words came to her lips, making herself jump slightly with shock as she posed, ready to fight. The two men looked up incredously.

"Uhh... no thanks girly, just run off and scram." One snorted with contempt, the other laughing as he dumped another barrel.

"Then you asked for this!" Sakura Hime yelled, dashing towards them before cartwheeling forwards, hands lashing out. As they drew close, cherry blossoms started to whistle around them, glowing brightly before cascading everywhere as her fist collided with one of them, sending him flying into the cliffface and slumping unconcious. Springing to her feet, she quickly ducked and dodged out of the way of several punches, bringing her fists up for an overhead slam. "Sakura Nami Utsu!" she called out, her fists exploding in a shower of cherry blossoms as they connected, the chemical dumper grunting as he flew back into the water, landing with a big splash against the bank of the lake.

Panting, Sakura Hime looked about before straightening up as sirens and flashing blue lights approached. "Uh oh... what the hell happened? I better get out of here!" she whispered to herself, making a break for it and leaping up the cliff back to her bike. Her eyes closed, a surge of energy passed over her, and Megan soon found herself back in her normal clothes.

"...Freaky."

Nanasawa Hibari hummed a little as she skipped back to her perants apartment with her schoolbag in one hand, warmly wrapped up in a scarf, sweater and wooly hat to keep her warm. She stood out from most of the other girls of her age at Paragon City elementary school, a lot of the other asian girls were older exchange students, but her perants had moved here during the summer, Bringing little Hibari with them. She was 10 and the world was still full of wonder, while it had stopped snowing winter was still fun to her.
She reached up to swipe a handful of black hair out of her eyes. She had way too much hair, she had thought, but her mother had told her it was far too beautiful to cut it off, so she had put up with the constant battle for facial supremacy. He skin contrasted with her white uniform, japanese heretige obvious from her almond eyes and skin tone.
She wondered what her father would cook for dinner tonight, thoughts of savoury meat buns and honeyed chicken floating through her minds eye, a little chibi Hibari chasing after them, her legs a blur as she sped around after them in her little chibi kitchen, before poucning on them and devouring them like a hungry tiger. Her face curved into a smile and her eyes closed for a second at the funny mental picture.
A quiet sound made her stop and look into an alleyway, dark patches of shadow making it hard to see what was inside. "Ohayo?" She asked, taking a step into the alleyway, her foot crunching down on a discarded chicken wing, half eaten. She covered her nose at the smell of the garbage that was strewn all over the place and was about to turn and go when she heard the noise again, a quiet mewling at the back of the alley.
"Is that a kitty?" She asked herself, moving further in and feeling sick at all the rubbish that had just been tipped there by unthinking locals and hellions that had tipped over a dumpster. He slid past the huge metal dumpster and moved towards the back of the alley, a small moving shape caught her eye. Amongst the rubbish a young cat, obviously sick and mange ridden crawled. Hibari put both of her gloved hands to her mouth at the sight of it, eyes welling up with tears. She crouched down and picked up the almost-kitten in her arms, body hunched over it to protect it from the cold. It mewed weakly and she started to sob.
A green shape glinted up above her, zipping down through the sky and into the alleyway, dancing around the rubbish before arcing up, the faint shape of a heart. it landed on her back and slowly sank into her sweater.
Rubbing her eyes with her sleeve and still holding the kitten, she looked around at the alleyway. "It was the rubbish that did this wasn't it kitty. I wish that people didn't just leave rubbish like this to hurt little kitties..." She rubbed her eyes again with her sleeve, another sob escaping from her mouth.

A green light bathed the alleyway as Hibari slipped sideways into somewhere else. She tried to cover herself as he clothing turned into peach-tree leaves and swirled around her, reforming into a white uniform with green detailing over her body. She giggled a little and stretched her arms out as a pair of bracers formed on her forarms, white light etching a peach tree emblem onto each one. She crossed her forearms in front of her forehead as he hair slowly changed from black into a deep green, moving her arms aside as a tiara appeared on her forehead, her hair tying itself into bunches at the back of her head. She put her hands on her hips and bounced them once, left to right and a jingle of metal could be heard as a golden belt with a green gem appeared at her waist. With another happy giggle, she slipped back sideways, knelt down on the floor with the kitty in her arms.

"Gaia doesnt like it when her children get sick because of neglect, kitty. All this rubbish is making you sick, but don't worry, Momo-Hime will make the pain go away." She held the kitty close to her chest and a pulse of green light expanded from her chest. When she looked down, the kitten looked back up at her as if she had just been plucked from out of a petstore. With a happy squeal and jumping to her feet, Momo lifted the kitty up in the air. "Love conquers all!" She said, closing her eyes and holding the kitten to her chest.

When she opened them again, she was just a schoolgirl, holding a kitten in her arms that was chewing on one of her wooly gloves hungrily. "Dont worry kitty, i will be your mama." She said happily, making her way out of the alleyway with a bounce in her step.

Now the chibi Hibari had a little kitten holding onto her head as they chased savoury buns around the kitchen...

Mika Wakahisa reached out with the secateurs and snipped the rose stem, taking the damaged bloom and dropping it into the bucket with the others. Her grandpa’s garden had looked so beautiful once, but since those awful trolls had taken over much of Eastgate, it had suffered much from their random vandalism.

Snipping the last of the damaged roses carefully from the bush, she sat back with a sigh, and looked up as the sound of a loud crash, followed guttural voices came from the other side of the high wall.

“That funny! Do it more!” One of them said.

Another replied with a harsh laugh, “You want see more? Me take more ‘dine and show you more!”

Sounds of some scuffling came from behind the wall as Mika froze in fear, not daring to make a noise less she be heard. Then a sharp intake of breath came from the other side, followed by a bellow of rage.

“Graaargh!!! Me SHOW you more now!”

Suddenly, the garden wall shook as something heavy hit it with a loud thud. Several more thuds came in rapid succession, and the wall toppled; crushing the rose bushes as Mike scrambled backwards out of the way.

Behind the now wrecked wall, a group of 4 trolls were laughing and shoving each other at the damage they’d caused. Then one, larger than the others, spotted Mika!

“Hey! Cute little girl want to play with Ogre?” He growled.

The others saw Mika, and started to laugh, egging the ogre on as he stepped over the rubble, further crushing the ruined roses. Mika paled, and scrambled backwards, away from the troll, and finally managed to get to her feet and run as the troll reached out to grab her.

Narrowly missing his outstretched hand, she ran for the house; slamming the back door behind her and running upstairs to her small bedroom. As she hid under the bed, shaking with terror, a loud crash came from downstairs at the trolls burst into her home, and the sounds of roaring and smashing could be heard.

Outside, a bright red light pulsated through the sky as it approached Mika’s home. Reaching her bedroom window, it passed through the cracked and dirty glass and hovered over the bed where Mike lay, shaking in fear. The light grew brighter, flooding the room with a warm red glow, and the best burst apart into thousands of rose petals as the light sank into Mika’s chest.

Mika’s body grew still as the glow spread throughout her body, and slowly she floated up into the air, to hover upright, several inches above the petal covered floor. The room around her faded as the light grew ever brighter and her clothes faded into more rose petals which swirled around her slim figure until they formed into a bright red dress. Then a white puffy sleeved shirt and scarf with bright red edging formed. Her arms flicked out to the sides and bracelets inscribed with an etching of a rose appearing before waving her palms across her forehead, a golden tiara inset with a red gem, and a mask of the same colour appearing. Arcing back, a matching belt with a large jewel in appeared around her waist as her black hair turned a bright red. With a shimmering 'pop' she landed back in her bedroom.

Mika looked down at herself, confused and astounded, “Ano… How..?”

Another crash came from downstairs, and an angry look came over Mika’s face. Rushing to her door, she pulled it open and ran down the stairs, her red clad feet barely making a sound. Rushing into the kitchen, she saw the trolls standing in the middle of a pile of debris, the remains of her grandfathers kitchen.

“Stop foul monster! Begone from this home before I, Bara Hime, teach you the error of your ways!” The words came unbidden from her mouth as she glared at them from the doorway, hands on hips.

The trolls stopped their destruction, and turned to look at her, “Look!”, said one, “Pretty girly got dressed up for us!”

The Ogre laughed and lunged at Bara, hands outstretched to grab her.

Letting him grab her, the troll roared in victory as he lifted Bara into the air; held tight in his huge hands. The roared quickly turned into a scream of pain though, as suddenly, thorns burst from Bara’s skin; piercing the Ogres’ skin and making him drop her as he hugged his lacerated hands to himself.

Bara dropped to a crouch and grinned, “I warned to you leave, foul monster! Now taste the wrath of Gaia!”

With a yell, she sprang at the trolls; thorn covered fists and legs lashing out as the drove through the trolls in a whirlwind of red and white; shedding petals all over each time she struck.

It was over in seconds; Bara blew through the trolls, punching and slashing like a red tornado, before finally stopping and glaring at the beaten trolls. As one, they staggered to their feet; covered in cuts and scratches, picked up their leader and ran from the house.

“Let that be a lesson to you, foul monsters!” Barra called after them, “Know that this place is protected by the love of Gaia and the power of Bara Hime!

Turning back to the ruined kitchen, Bara sighed at the mess, and the red glow surrounded her again. When it faded seconds later, Bara was gone, transformed back to Mika.

She looked down at herself again in wonder, confused as to what had happened, then saw the mess before her. “Awww man! Granpa’s gonna be so mad!”

((Tuesday will be Hana Hime night, if everyone is okay with that. In addition, we have some new things too!

The Níwa has opened up for the Hana Hime, accessable through the flower portals scattered all over the city. In addition to a large meeting chamber full of trees and flowers, there's the hidden chambers for the Hana Hime to relax in, complete with kitchen, baths, bedroom, study areas, books and entertainment systems. There's a noticeboard in there for writing notices and messages, as well as the Hana-níkkí, magical diary books for the Hana Hime to write in and communicate with each others. Will more magical objects appear for the Hana Hime? Who knows!))

Bara Hime was grounded due to being out late the last time the girls were out! And Hasu Hime had various duties to attend to, so she wasn't able to join the Hana Hime.

Rushing off to deal with it, the girls fought through the crowds of possessed factory workers and took down the Youma, freeing the factory! Wai! But! Tuxedo Saviour showed up! Who is this mysterious man, and why does he help the Hana Hime so? Is Momo right that he's a bad man?

Rushing off, they sensed the ki of a powerful Youma infecting a building in Kings Row. Kowaii! The power of the Corrupting Darkness had twisted the inside of the building, and residents infected with dark power attacked the Hana Hime! Yet again, Tuxedo Saviour showed up to save the day, and they dispelled the dark magic and returned the appartment block to normal!

After defeating the Youma, they were granted another gift! Sugoi, the Youma-Hunter! A flowery-designed hand held, it had the ability to track down Youma in the part of the city they were in! With this, the Hana Hime will be super-strong and able to track down those Youma with ease!

Using it, the Hana Hime rushed off to save a kidnapped woman, what did the Youma want with her? Tuxedo Saviour aided the Hana Hime again against there fight, and Yuri was acting very odd when he departed! Does she have a crush, or does she know something about him?!

Picking up something on their Youma-Hunter, the Hana Hime dashed off to save the day again! But! As they headed to the cave where the Youma were hiding, a group of kowaii men in rags attacked, and Momo got hurt! Luckily, Tuxedo Sama used some smelling salts to revive her, and the Hana Hime were able to banish the Youma! But just as they attacked, a scary, creepy male voice taunted the girls before laughing into a fade off! Still, they beat this mysterious person's 'phantom', as he called it! Sakura learnt to call upon the power of the cherry blossom to boost her strength, and Momo was able to call upon the healing power of peach to weaken the Youma they faced!

Konnichiwa! Last time on Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime!

All of the Hana Hime gathered in the Níwa, noticing the lack of Youma recently, and hoping this situation would be there to stay, but when they headed out, the Corrupting Darkness started to attack! The Hana Hime headed to rescue a kidnapped man, and after leaving, several of the Hime discovered new powers, or were about to discover them!

Gathering to discuss the Corrupting Darkness' next move, a warrior from that wicked place appeared, and called himself Hades! He taunted the girls to Paragon Steel Works, and even though they suspected it was a trap, they had to go!

Arriving there, they beat the surprisingly weak Hades, and deception was revealed! This was one of Hades' phantoms, and he taunted the girls that he had covered Atlas Park in a shroud of darkness, and infested with Youma as he searched for something called the Red Cherry Gem!

Dismayed that they had been tricked, the Hana Hime dashed over to Atlas, and arrived to find it full with powerful Youma! Fighting their way to the bank, they took down Hades' strongest Youma and faced him in combat! Momo also learnt how to use the power of Haru to help her fallen team mates get back up!

Recovering the Red Cherry Gem, they headed outside to deal with the Youma infestation that was still plaguing the city, but when a powerful signature of dark energy appeared, the girls rushed off to face it! Inside the police station, Youma were attacking the brave officiers of the PPD! Fighting their way through, the girls struggled and persevered, but when they faced a new and powerful youma, that almost looked a little like Bara Hime, the girls were quickly defeated, but the power of the Red Cherry Gem teleported them to safety! Thank goodness! The girls then parted ways, confused and slightly scared about the events that happened that night. Who was this new Warrior of the Corrupting Darkness? What is the Red Cherry Gem, that Sakura now holds? Will Tuxedo Saviour ever be more than a mysterious ally, swooping in to rescue the girls?

And what's this? A set of magical backpacks have appeared in the Níwa?!

All will be revealed, on the next episode of Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime!

Ohayo! Last time on Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime!

Hasu Hime and Sakura Hime were chatting in the Níwa about life, the quietness of their enemies from the Corrupting Darkness, and how they were dealing with their powers as guardians of justice, love and nature. Bara Hime turned up a short while later, a little late as she had homework, then Yuri Hime did, also having defeated the evil Homework Youma.

Talking about how quiet it was on the Youma front, the girls decided to do some real crimefighting, and took out an Arachnos cell hidden deep under Kings Row! Not even criminals can stand against the forces of nature and love! With the criminals taken out, the girls headed outside when Sakura's Youma Hunter picked up something odd!

An odd signal was coming from a building in Kings Row! Plotting how to get there, her belt shimmered and suddenly the backpacks they recieved from lasttime appeared on her back! Thinking about how to get to the place, it sprouted wings! The others soon had their backpacks arrive, and the Hana Hime took to the skies to arrive quickly, all finding the experience thrilling!

Having arrived, they headed inside to find something really weird happening! The building appeared to be shifting bits in and out of reality! Fiery red walls and pillars were appearing, along with armoured men cloaked in flames! The girls, assisted by Tuxedo Saviour, fought their way through the burning leigon of troops, frequently having visions of a group of people talking!

There was people of steel, water, wind, earth and fire, and even a group of girls in kimonos talking to them at some point! The girls made it up to the top floor and defeated the lead firey-clad man, and the building started to shift back to normal... but!

On a throne sat a man in splendidly made armour, though instead of being on fire, his skin was dark and flecked with cracks of red embers! He spoke in a weird lanaguage, and Yuri Hime was only able to work out one phrase: Lord Metal, which was said before he disappeared!

Tuxedo Saviour quickly vanished after this, and the girls split up for the night to head home.

Who was the firey clad man? Who is Lord Metal? What was making that building like it was?

Find out next time on Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime!
