Having an in-game clock would be nice. Especially when you are hunting things that only come out during a certain time of the day.

Actually I like the repair, and I have aid other. When my bots get hit hard by an AOE attack, I toss the repair on one that I want to keep alive, protector or assault bot, and then dish out healing with the aid other. It's saved my skin and my bots skin many times
Edit: I agree that the recharge does seem a bit too long. -
They need to put you on their payroll. I'd love to see this in game

Wow that was quick, and gratz.
Wish I wasn't at work during these. Love to give this game a shot -
Love the style, I use the arcane teles all the time in my bases and never thought of doing that. Hafta give that a try

I guess one of the bad reps we get is MMs that do not learn how to control their pets. I've seen a pet chase after a runner and aggro another group, and this makes some people mad.
Personally I love to have a MM on my team, and I've never had people complain about me when I'm on their team. Though I've learned how to control my pets and if I have them targeting a mob and that mob decides to run, I quickly tell my pets to come back to me. Then I tell them to either wait or attack another target. I almost never have my pets in aggressive mode when on a team. I almost always have them in defensive so they are more likely to stay close to me and tell them to attack a certain target if I am not trying to tank.
One successful run that I had was a SF team I got on with my bots/ff mastermind. The brute went ahead of us to complete the missions, while the rest of us killed as many mobs as we could before the mission ended. I played a pseudo tank in that and taunted everything to protect the curruptors on the team. At the end of the SF the leader asked if I wanted to join their VG because I did such a good job tanking and controling my pets. -
Quote:Any single-target buff (but not AoEs or auras) or taking damage will also work.
Well I know that buffing my bot with a force field (single target buff) does not work on bring them back. I don't know about other types of single target buffs but hitting them with the two force field buffs have no luck on bringing them back into my control.
Using the upgrade does work, but that gets expensive to hit each one individually with an upgrade.
To help me out, I've just learned to dismiss my pets before I exit a mission and resummon them in the next mission. If they go rogue on me in a mission, then I hit the stupid ones with an upgrade to bring them back into the fold. -
Over all my 2xp weekend was good, but I did get invited to an AE missions. The leader was kind enough to send a tell first and not just blind invite. Needless to say we wiped several times on each group we pulled. I stuck around till the team finally broke up, I'm just glad that there is no debt for dying in AE missions.
The best part about it is the leader was an MM and always wanted to pull the mobs. Well, he didn't control his pets so when he try to pull (on all of his pulls) his pets go running in aggro other groups and lead to a wipe. I just thought it funny that he was in the 40's and still hasn't learn how to pull with a MM. -
I can understand the name being revoked, but from what you have posted and from my time playing Diablo, I would have never said hey you look like Izual from D2. I hope you get your costumes back. That is a sweet costume you created there.

I alt around a lot this weekend. I used the advantage of the double xp to try out some builds on red side. Got a Dual Pistol/Storm corruptor to level 23, got a dark/dark corruptor to level 22, got a fire/kin corruptor to level 22, added a couple of levels to my bots/ff mastermind (now at 44), and got a stalker to 20.
Basically I wanted to get my alts to 20+ so I could get stamina
Over all it was a fun weekend, only ran one SF though, wish I could of ran more. -

Hope this helps out with some of the questions. Pulled from the Announcements Forum
Quote:There have been a lot of questions about the City of Heroes® Going Rogue prepurchase program, the Complete Collection and the Item Pack. Wed like to take a moment and try to clarify this for all of you.
There are two different ways to get the City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion: as a separate expansion, or as part of the Complete Collection.
The separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion costs $29.99 (19.99 / £17.99) and requires you to already have City of Heroes. The separate expansion doesnt include game time, so you must be an active subscriber to play. The separate expansion does not include the Complete Collection Item Pack. The separate expansion will only be available digitally, and will be available for prepurchase starting in March (see below for more information on what you get from prepurchasing this separate expansion).
The City of Heroes Going Rogue: Complete Collection costs $39.99 (29.99 / £26.99) and includes City of Heroes Going Rogue as well as City of Heroes, City of Villains, 30 days of game time, and the Complete Collection Item Pack. With the game time and previous expansions included, it is ideal for those who are new to City of Heroes franchise (perhaps as a gift!), but also a good value for players not interested in prepurchasing. The Complete Collection will be available both digitally and at retail (in North America) starting in July and cannot be prepurchased (only the separate expansion can be prepurchased).
Starting at launch in July, players who prepurchased or bought just the separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion will be able to upgrade to the Complete Collection. The upgrade will include the Complete Collection Item Pack, but it wont include any game time.
Prepurchase
Only the separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion will be available for prepurchase. The Complete Collection will not be available for prepurchase, nor are there any incentives for preordering it at retail.
Prepurchasing the separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion will give you early access to the Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning power sets. Dual Pistols will be available immediately once the prepurchase program starts in early March. Demon Summoning will become available starting in April. You will get both power sets early if you prepurchase.
Complete Collection Item Pack
For those who prepurchase the separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion, but also want the Complete Collection Item Pack, starting on launch day in July, we will offer an upgrade to the Complete Collection. The upgrade will include the Complete Collection Item Pack but will not include any game time. The pricing for the upgrade hasnt been set yet.
We hope this clears the majority of your questions up!

Old player coming back, who doesn't know about the changes to difficulties?
Just my guess. No clue on why unless he wants you to buff/debuff or something. -
For the RMTs, that may be a problem for some, but I have and I'm sure many others too, have selected the option of only receiving emails from those in their friend list. I haven't had a spam email since I've selected that option.
