Bet ya once we do get back parts they'll be part of a booster pack.
-
I'm just curious as to why they can't use the same anchor point they use for wings.
-
I seem to see a ton more creations based on anime than actual comics.
And most of the comic-related characters I see are so horribly dark and gritty that you sometimes want to start cutting yourself, and maybe even others, due to the sheer emo and attitude they put off. -
-
Animated tails came free with Issue 17. You're thinking of the wolf tail, which they last minute slapped onto the Mutant Pack due to the incredible outcry of furries expecting animal parts.
-
You level up in terms of how the enemies will con to you. But your enhancements and stuff are safe, so you don't have to worry about getting new "Level 52 IOs!" or anything like that.

Animals are fine when their theme is actually being part animal and using those animal skills to fight/cause crime. Like Tigra or the Lizard. But most of the time, what I see are people that have one particular theme, like being Iceman or Superman, plus cat ears and a tail slapped on for no reason and serve no purpose. Or cat-folk that walk around acting like actual house cats. I see at least two or three a day. Not a hint of creativity or originality.
These are also the same people that moaned and groaned when the mutant pack had no animal parts. Because mutant apparently = animal, and nothing else. I approve of the animal pack, so long as it's not the "Furry Pack" and instead tries to provide a wider variety of animal pieces.
Plus, like I've said, we've got enough damn cat pieces. -

Quote:They are. It's just the angle. However, the feet themselves are new.To be fair, it wasn't announced, it was just an image attached to a link to the massively article and wasn't mentioned at all.
But I'm with you. I'm inclined to think that every communication vehicle should get the same feed rather than rely on players to cross-pollinate.
edit: and FWIW, I think the most interesting thing about the bird-man is that those do not look like monstrous legs to me. -
They're making content. Content that appeals to players that have been asking for that specific content for years now. They also are still making other content for other players, not focusing 100% of their time to one particular thing. You also have everything else this game has to offer, in case the new stuff isn't up your alley. So what I'm saying is...
Stop. Complaining. -
Quote:I agree with all those, except the cat head. Felines are only a small part of the animal kingdom, a part we've covered enough as is with tails, whiskers, ears, claws, and even a robotic cat-looking face from the Cyborg pack. Not to mention this game's already borderline City of Catgirls. Lets see some variety. Heads that'd be much more unique and not already given to us:/disagree.
I want a good cat head. I want a good ibis, crocodile, and multiple other heads as well. The Egyptian (and other!) pantheon needs in-game representation, and I need reasons for more alts!
Bull/Minotaur
Eagle (which is obviously coming)
Stag
Alligator
Raptor
Rat
Shark
Gorilla (Especially now with the ghoul flex emote)

Quote:Some people just don't like sticking to one project for their entire career. Others do.That's terrible news, Positron, War Witch and others are soon to follow this "natural progression" then according to you. And here I was looking for good news.
Want good news? The game hasn't shut down. I20 is still in the works and is going to be big. And more issues are planned for after that. Bam. -

Plus four new stances. Two of the stances are featured in those pictures. -
I caved and decided to make one for my incredibly social deviant Blaze.

As awesome as RoA is, you can still do tons of damage without it. Snap shot, Aimed shot, and Blazing Arrow make a devastating attack chain. But with recharge and damage buffs, plus Aim, RoA is easily my favorite power.

The Coralax would be a pretty weak EAT, to be honest. You get to play some beast-like thing that's barely ever been featured in the game, with hardly any diversity whatsoever.
But Rikti seem to be the best bet. It would be a great next step in showing the Rikti culture evolving and showing them join the humans as allies, while others would go undercover, pretending to be allies while looking for ways to finally win the war for the Rikti. Both stories work for both blue and redside. There are, in fact, tons of costume options to choose from, they wouldn't need new animations for running or anything like that, And plenty of powers. I could see the support being a cross of MMs and defenders, while the fighters would be like blappers with armor.
All in all, I approve of this. -
They're optional badges that really have no effect on the game itself. If you feel you have to get these badges, that's your problem and not the developer's.
