As someone who's home server is Virtue, let me tell you that no one on Virtue really likes that group or it's leader. New characters frequently get bombarded with invites and /tells from the leader, and he's frequently used less-than-admirable recruitment tactics in the past. We try to ignore him.

Never had problems hitting him within melee before. Do the follow thing if you're getting trouble.

Seth MacFarlane is capable of writing good stuff. He's just gotten lazy with most of his current stuff. I think it'd be worth watching the first couple episodes of at least.

Quote:Except he isn't. Warrant's name is William Smith. Blue Steel's is Josh Young. Nothing in the storyline links them in any way, shape, or form. They don't act or even look similarly to one another.Warrant (Power Loyalist contact, by the statue of Marauder) is the Praetorian Blue Steel so far as I know.

Thought they were just the tunnels. The larger ones, not those older, cramped caves.

Nice. I'm definitely a fan of Virtueverse and have used it quite a bit. Looking forward to seeing who wins.

Quote:Patience*I think this is pretty much the problem, no patients. It only takes a few seconds to be patient.
The lack of patients and total refusal on the part of many (not some, but many) to be patient and to follow any type of direction is the main reason I don't lead these things and really only do them because I have to in order to get what I want. Knowing my lack of patients for impatient people I'd probably just start kicking them
Is it so hard to wait for the tank or brute to pull Siege a few more feet? Is is so hard to wait for the escapees to get to the choke point before you attack instead of running out to meet them?
Is it so hard to take a moment to explain to someone that has never done a Lambda what to do after you beet the "Security Team"? Where the doors are? Why they are running in a smash and grab though the warehouse like maniac ITF speed run instead of taking out the mobs? (by the way, I hate Speed ITFs or any SPEED runs, I'd rather get poked in the eye with a stick.)
I realize, many of us have all seen the cut scenes a hundred times or more and they're getting to the point of making us puke, but, is it really that hard to just be a little patient? Is your life that pressed for time that a couple minutes is making you this upset?
Relax a little, take the moment to refill your glass, you'll live longer. -

Interestingly enough, sometimes I'll listen to music that'll fit the character. For instance, I'll listen to things like the Kick-*** score if playing Golden Age or classic heroes, and things like the Red Dead Redemption score when playing western ones. Techno for my main Robot Ninja, etc.
Most of the time, though, I'll just listen to all sorts of rock, rap, and techno. Foo Fighters, Weezer, Dethklok, Arctic Monkeys, Daft Punk, Hot Hot Heat, and Duane and Brand0 are example groups. -
Make the enemy group of the map "Empty." It's an enemy group that spawns nothing. Then create a bunch of bosses, patrols, etc. and have set them up so they only spawn when a certain objective is triggered. For example, destroying an item or collecting a glowie. Once that objective is triggered, bam, the map's filled with those bosses you placed.
The only way to make NPCs turn into enemies is by creating an ally and having them betray you once you reach a certain objective. You can't have entire mobs go from ally/untouchable to enemy, just however many allies you can fit in. -
Ghost Widow is a Resistance contact by the name of Belladonna Vetrano. The rest probably are either in other parts of the world, were wiped out by the whole world ending thing, or are simply no name civilians living their lives. Just because they're important in our world doesn't mean they have to be in that one. Look at Nemesis, for example. Died a simple toy maker.
And I'm aware Praetorian Atlas wouldn't be the same as Primal, but at this point in the story the only logical reason to throw him in would be for a brief shock factor of "Oh man, it's Atlas! And he's an end boss in this TF!" which would kind of be a little distasteful to his name and the fame/hype that goes with it. Let's just work with the Praetorian roster we've already established instead of seeing how many copies we can toss at the story. -
I'd probably end up having some unknown actor voice/play any of my characters. Can't really see any big names that can do the job properly.
-
I'd rather work with Midas than against him, to be honest. Have my own squad of Goldbrickers and go around Cap stealing stuff with them.

No thanks.
It'd feel too much like a slap in the face of the characters and their sacrifices to be like "Hey. In this TF you get to fight alternate Atlas, who's alive, well, and ready to kick your ***." Let's just leave it at fighting Tyrant and his Praetor Phalanx. -
Know what they could do? Update old, low-res enemy groups/NPCs like Hellions, Fifth Column, civilians, etc. As they update these enemy groups, they give us access to these new costume pieces. This would also tie into their "All new NPC costumes will be given to the players" philosophy. Old enemy groups look nice and not dated, we get more costume pieces, and old content will feel fresh, just like all old Rikti content felt funner when they got their make over.
That's three birds with one scone. -
