Where's Bat'Zul's target?

I swear I could target him but getting him in melee range was a bit more of a problem. So with his size and monsters in general where is a good place for melee?

For all points I was soloing because frankly I want to complete it on my time and not someone else's. Case in point with my dm/invul brute I had him down to 20% before he killed Infernal and thus ended my quest at killing him since I couldn't hit jack without going temp flight. UGGH the reasons why I swore off trials.

I don't always solo oversized mobs, but when I do, I bring a ladder.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but if you're on the ground and hit Follow(default key is F) you'll move up to the mobs hit box and be in melee range (does NOT work if you are flying/hovering).
So land and Follow, then beat the c**p out of it.

Never had problems hitting him within melee before. Do the follow thing if you're getting trouble.

In the shopping center near my house, we shop at the same one.

I get confused too because the target box is so big it goes off screen.Just make sure his name is in your target box and if your animation goes off then you're hitting him.

That used to be true, but I'm pretty sure follow will get you into melee range, even when flying/hovering. That's part of why they changed melee attacks from a 5' range to 7'.

I think it also has to do with where I lead him and yes the follow works at times but certain powers of the dark melee set seems to not catch. I had to maneuver siphon life and by the time it lands he's moving again. This is the 2nd time I've attempted the task force in full and definitely a reason why I don't bother with it more often.

Anyways thanks for the tips.
