I'd probably end up having some unknown actor voice/play any of my characters. Can't really see any big names that can do the job properly.
I always imagine my Mercury Missile character speaking with the "civilian" female player character voice from Divinity 2. Dunno who the voice actor is, but it's a ridiculously cute voice.
Just a random thought that ran through my head recently. When I imagine my characters speaking, some of them are based off real actors. Which leads to the thought "If my character was ever in a cartoon, they would be voiced by _____."
For example, my main character Capt. Stormrider was partly inspired by Jayne Cobb of Firefly, so I sort of ended up applying Adam Baldwin's voice to him. My latest character, Max Violence, I envisioned as being sort of a shreiking madwoman in the heat of combat, which brought to mind Venus Terzo who played Blackarachnia in Beast Wars.
Has anyone else ever picked an actor who would lend a voice to your character? Or heck, let's go even further if you want: Who could portray your character in a live action film?
