I did it today on my thugs/pain it was real easy. I was doing it through oro so I was lvl 29. It was set at -1 to my level but they were even con. They didn't seem to call pets straight away so I took 2 or 3 out before any pets showed up. When there were only 3 left they ran to the end of the room. I did have a snowman out guess he helped a bit.

A couple of times since i17beta I have duo'd with someone and they didn't show up on the map. There was only 1 green triangle for me.
Another time my partner was invisible but showed up halfway through. Anyone else had this?

Hell on Earth and Gang War pets are not controllable they are just like imps. Gang War though is better because there are more of them and they all arrive at once.

Well I have a 50 brute, a 50 def, a 50 corr and: 2 50 thug mm's and working on a third.

I solo paper's red side and get it all the time. For glowies it has to be the last thing left to do to complete the mission.

Iv'e seen it working all the time except in a kill all which is what I wanted it for. In clickey's it gives a big white splash if you cleared everything else and in kill some guy missions it will show you the last group left in the final room.

Got Firebird 5800 pts so I can now move on with my life.

There is a trick that gives you up to 75% damage resistance. It is called Bodyguard (bg) Mode. If you leave your pets on follow defensive all the damage you take is shared with your pets. Since you are getting 2 attacks you can do this effectively.
You want assault a lot lower anyway around 18 or 20 once you have 4 pets cause the damage bonuses add up real nicely.

This was to stop an exploit so I believe the devs answer would be "you brought this on yourselves".
