If both you and the foe are over level 20, any foe should drop any kind of Tips.

Quote:/wdwload only tracks the placement of windows. You also need /chatload and /bindload and /optionload.I'm a bit of an altaholic, but I've noticed that when I create a new toon, I've got to do a lot of configuration of the UK and other stuff like groups etc.
I use the /wdwload command but I find that I still have to leave a whole bunch of groups that I was in once but am not in any longer - and I also then have to go into Options and address keymapping issues etc - despite having saved those options previously.
Is there any way to get around this and have a common UI, keymapping and groups when making a new character? As things stand it's a bit of a pain in the wossname! -
Quote:Both. Deliver 7 valentines to the right person for one badge and 7 to the wrong person for the other badge... question for Match Maker and Missed Connection.... can a single character obtain both of them, or just one of them ?
It will be easier if you switch to Rogue or Vigilante for the event (spend your Alignment Merits first or lose them) so that recipients on the 'other side' are reachable, otherwise, you'll have to drop some of the valentine tips. -
Quote:Well, today's artist have the Internet to fill them in on such things, so, lack of firsthand experience is no excuse anymore. My uncle was a colorist, artist and editor for DC. He was the first person that first joked with me about the fact that most of his co-workers having a lack of knowledge about a real woman's body (he and his partner have been together 25 years, he counted himself among that group). So, I just can't see any of these images as sexist. . . . they're just drawings with exaggerated proportions to me.

Coyote has practically the same jump and speed stats as Ninja/Beast Run + Sprint + Swift with the latter two with Level 50 Run SOs.

In this exercise, we're using Incarnates, so, you're allowed to use Barrier.

I've had my head removed.

If you plan to get the Super Packs when released, the team insps drop *a lot*.
-
I hate to burst your bubble, but Paladin is just a level 10-15 GM... and you're Level 50+3. Yes, I know about the combat scaling of GMs, but still, a low level GM has a lot less resources in other regards (like HP, e.g.).
If you get enough Defense or Resistance or -ToHit or Healing or Regen to survive the attacks, which are easy to survive... then it's just a matter of focusing firepower on taking them out one at a time. Especially since you're Dark Miasma... if you keep them tightly grouped, they're gonna miss a lot. Team Insps can help with that, but many MM builds have ways of doing that without needing them. -
-
With an IO'd +3 incarnate MM, you should be able to destroy any of the low level GMs without the need for team insps if you have the damage focused Lore Pets out.
And with the right build, any GM.
With team insps, you can make up for lack of being IO'd out or an incarnate or not having the right build. It's a five minute buff for all your pets. So, imagine all of a MM's pets at the damage cap for five minutes. -

From the Guide to Guides (see link in my sig below)...
3RD PARTY CUSTOMIZATION (MAPS, GRAPHICS, SOUND, FONTS)[Please note the following programs and customizations do not 'modify' the code of the game, which would violate the End User License Agreement (EULA) you all agreed to when you bought/registered the game. These are more 'overlays' or 'readers' than 'modifiers'. See: A note about client modifications]

The only personal storage device is one's Vault and that is flagged to hold only invention salvage. It could be flagged, I'm guessing, to also hold enhancements. Maybe.

Quote:What is happening in those two arcs isn't something some brand new registered hero/villain would be doing. And it's really just one arc unless you switch alignments a lot.Oh come on. Level 30 or higher? These level-gated event missions are getting on my nerves.
Besides, players constantly badger the Devs for 30+ content. -
Quote:Don't know where you thought they could be put in "personal storage", but that was never the plan.I understand that these are account based and stuff. I was under the impression that they were going to be able to be stored in "personal Storage". I have tried to move them from one toon to another and Email is the only way to do this. Very difficult if I respec and take 20-30 of them out of a toon.
Is there a future "Fix" in the works to allow you to put these in base storage?

My point above is when you look at the in-comic rationales given for nearly nude women "I don't understand earthling prudishness" or by comic defenders, "we'd all do that if we could" we need to remember that they're mostly men speaking for women.
Many women have to endure being judged for their... endowments, and their lithesomeness. And they have to endure men ogling them and trying to catch a peek either subtly or not.
So, I question whether the majority of women, if they had the perfect invulnerable body would willingly chose to go so naked given the fact that it would bring a lot of unwanted attention. Sure, a co-ed on winter break in Daytona looking for a hook up purposely looks for that... but she'd probably change her stance in the professional world, or once married, or a mom.
So, we have to say, "Really, Sue Reed, a married woman wanting to be taken seriously in a boy's club would really put on a booby peeker? For empowerment reasons? Really? Is that what strong professional women do in politics and the boardroom? And really, Starfire, after a year of earthmen being unable to look up to meet your gaze and posting pictures of you on the Internet in every carnal position and relation possible, you wouldn't start covering up? Really?"
So, unless a superheroine is constantly on the prowl for a sexual hook-up while also fighting crime... the justifications given by men for the skimpiness sounds a bit hollow to me.
Because they're from men. -
I went with rings for everything except the suit... got mesmerized by glowie bits.
And I voted twice. -
A waypoint switches for me between 33 yards and 99 feet... which is 3 feet to a yard.
Using the pylons in RWZ, I moved to 1 mile from one of them, and there were two intervening in a relatively straight line. Using them as waypoints, I measured the intervening distances in yards and got 1762 yards, which is just 2 yards off of how many yards are in an actual mile.
So, yes, the game really uses 1 mile = 5280 feet; and 3 feet = 1 yard. -
In the game, base speed is measured in feet per second with a whole number with no decimal points (namely, exactly 21 fps). So, the foot is the basic measure in the game. So why are people so keen to guess or assume that 3 feet is not a yard and 5,280 feet is not a mile?
The terrain is not scaled 1:1 to character height which makes our movement outdoors seem faster than it should be in real life. But my guess is that the stats given in-game as applied to the terrain use the normal foot/yard/mile conversions.
Off to test... -
For all the people that argue, "Well, if I had a hot body and invulnerability, *of course* I'd want to show off as much skin as possible, even being naked!" I wonder how many of them are women.
Oh, sure, there probably are women who say that... but in what percentage to the general population of women? -
Part of the problem is that the ITF weapon unlocks and the Cimeroran weapon unlocks are both gated by level. It used to be other weapon locks were gated by level, such as the Rularuu ones, but now, a level 1 toon can get a sugar daddy to team up with and get the prerequisite kills in the Shard for the unlocks. You can't do that with Cimerora.
The new DA arcs include missions in Cimerora and one dealing with Requiem. If just one of those missions had Cimerorans in them that didn't require going to Cimerora first, then a level 1 could be sidekicked into them. Or all it would take is one radio mission involving time travel to include Cimerorans. Then all the weapons unlocked with the Cimeroran kill badge would be obtainable at level 1.
The problem isn't so much the lock, but the high level-gate included with the lock. And with the exception of the Incarnate costume, CoH has purposely eschewed the MMO convention of costume=level.
Many people just want access to all the costume pieces from level 1 onward. And we're willing to pay for that or grind end game content for that. And mostly everything that used to be locked is now available for level 1 toons through the Store or Empyrean Merits from an alt. That just a few pieces are not included is daft.
If Romulus' shield had Romulus' face on it, well, that I could see as requiring battling him for it. But 'Nictus' related content is not exclusive to the ITF. There are other lore avenues to justify a character having Nictus-related costuming.
