I picked up the icon reskins but do you guys know anything else that is useful to have? The thing I would like most is a better city map that also show Ouro etc.

Anything legal and useful would be nice please. Thanks.

Vidiotmaps.com has a download of the most up to date zone maps for the game.

Unforunately, I don't think the vidiotmaps addon makes any new additions to the overall City map. Not sure why exactly you might want that either way though - I think I've tabbed over to that map once, said "neat!" and never used it again.

It does however, show you locations for badges, day jobs, enemy group locations and level ranges, Rikti dropship paths, zone event/GM markers, plaques, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting. Very handy, I highly recommend it.

This is why I was recommending it. That stuff can be extremely handy for both new players as well as old players.

Assuming you're on Windows, there's also HeroStats ( http://www.herostats.org/ ) to track your various cooldowns and buff durations, track your drops, damage taken/dealt, and all kinds of other things.

Also for Windows, there's Sentinel ( http://cit.cohtitan.com/sentinel/ ) which ties into the badge tracking subsite of the Titan Network, City Info Terminal ( http://cit.cohtitan.com/ ) and it also ties into the hero builder of the Titan Network, Mids' Hero Designer ( http://www.cohplanner.com/ ).

These aren't actually "add-ons" but standalone programs that run alongside City.

Pretty sure Forbin is talking about the download that puts that stuff on your ingame map when you rae playing, not just using the browser page with the map which is what it seems you think it is.

I like the SG/VG beacon replacements as well - that are text so you can see easily from across the room which teleportor goes where. I forget where I got them though.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Vidiotmaps does have a downloadable map pack that puts badge locations, TF contacts and other useful stuff on the map.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Nope, I use the vidiotmaps replacement maps myself - have for a while. I was referring to the overall City map, the one that shows up at the Tram stations and shows where each zone is in relation to the others. I believe the old boxed versions of CoH and CoV have those in-game maps in physical poster form.

I have that old map somewhere, I need to get it out, put a wood frame around it and hang it near my gaming comp lol. As it is I've had the VIP pass card on my desk for 5 years. Sadly though, my geek fangs are not long compared to many sabretoothgeeks. sigh.

Note also that whilst the Paragon map has remained fairly consistant - new zones have been added and the tramline changes have been applied, the Rogue Isles have had some major upheavals over the years - about half of the islands have actually rotated by ~90 degrees. I blame Doc Aeon's playing about beneath Cap Au Diable.
Also neither map shows the Shadow Shards, Pocket D, Oruborous or Cimerora.

Vidiotmaps does have a large city map that you could print out which has all the zones. If you download and save it with the correct name in the AddOns folder it could replace the City Map on the mini map tab - I think it also changes those at the tram station but not totally sure of that.
Also the current versions should be available on the CoH website somewhere.
