My psych classes say otherwise. And since we're using DSM definitions of sociopath and psychopath, we're using the DSM definition of antisocial, not the popular one.

Please stop misusing "antisocial". Antisocial refers to being against societal rules. Someone who dislikes socialization and crowds is asocial.

    The examples:
An asocial person dislikes going to the bar. An antisocial person demolishes the bar because he feels like it.

Really? Assuming that the average person has between 10-20 characters, it's between $0.50 and $1.00 per character.

For me, it turns out to be ridiculously cheap per character because I have in the neighborhood of 40 characters.

I definitely kept my vet slots. I had them all assigned to Virtue prior, and was premium at launch of Freedom. I had 24 server slots for Virtue (I had a combination of purchased/vet slots assigned to Virtue for the then-max of 36) and extras sitting around.

Yes, but he also has a duty to not immediately become inflammatory, and to make his posts legible. It really takes just an extra minute or two to add periods, spell check (if he was a PC tech for 20 years, he'd be using a browser that isn't IE, and all of those have spell-check built in), and capitalize where appropriate (i.e. ATI).
  7. You would type /bind f2 auctionhouse, you don't put the slashes inside the bind.

So for facepalm, you do /bind f1 e facepalm and for vault, it's /bind f3 vault

    Leave everything the same except:

Make an option to zone into PVP to either side.

Siren's Call (Freedom) and RV (Freedom) Have plenty of frequent players. People play the two zones specifically for a reason.

Warburg DOES NOT allow you to enter on either side. It is simply Free-for-ALL.

Arena is an entirely different concept than zone PVP and thus has nothing to do with this. People choose to go into zone PVP for the non ending free world living environment. Arena is meant to fight a match with definite ending and definite victor.

Simply put. Add a single option to choose red or blue when entering a PVP zone. The rest is irrelevant.
I'm assuming you only mean for the middle alignments (Rogue/Vigilante). Because having heroes or villains suddenly jump ship would be... problematic. For one, they can only access from one side, where they'd immediately get ganked by the drones.

Allowing Rogues/Vig to access from either side and setting that as their PvP alignment, however, would work.

So the general consensus is "so bad it's good"? I may go see it this week.

    Oooh

I bet it'd be Sister Psyche dying.

    HOWEVER:

Bear in mind her "mind-riding" ability. She'll use it to continue to live with her husband, Manticore, sharing his body. Think of the fun that would cause!

Again, you don't know a thing about what you're talking about. You said "since Issue 0", however Containment (which is the only thing that brings controller damage above defender damage) was not in launch. It wasn't added until Issue 5.

At the same time, Energize is costing you 10 endurance, while Energy Drain is refilling your endurance. See the difference? EA is unique in having a power that functions similarily to a weak version of Dark Regeneration and Dark Consumption combined into one power, on a fairly short recharge. That uniqueness has now been replaced by pasting in a power from another set, turning EA into "just another Defense set". And a relatively "meh" one, at that.

Also, in response to... Whoever it was talking about the defense numbers... This is all entirely from a Stalker standpoint, mind you:
So, what do you suggest they change Conserve Power to?

Remember, for this proliferation, they have to drop Conserve Power, because it's available in scrapper APPs.

Actually, there are legitimate times to dislike wholesale KB. Like when you're relying on having enemies around you for your powers. Like if I'm running in on my /psi blaster, I'd be right annoyed if I set off Drain Psyche and only caught one enemy because of KB. Or with Soul Drain or Dark Regeneration.

However, these are not problematic with just a little bit of communication. "Hold off on the KB so I can pop off Drain Psyche" or "Don't knock everything away from me when my health dips, I need them there for my heal."

NO. KB chances are horrid things, implements of Satan. 100% KB on a power makes it a wonderful positioning tool. Chances for KB cause scatter, because not everything gets knocked back.

That's not a punishment. Nothing is taken away if you close the league. The Astral and buff were added for Open leagues in I20.5. Calling it a punishment for closing the league is abusing terminology.

None of Nox's posts have been caustically critical (which is what "vitriol" means). Caustic criticism is criticism that is meant to be hurtful to the target, whereas her posts have been expressly about certain unfortunate implications of the art.

You're kidding, right? You honestly believe that asking the people reconsider a few things due to actual effects they have is equivalent to "curtailing free speech"? Do you consider it "curtailing free expression" when people ask you to say things politely, too?

There's a difference between exaggerated and impossible. I took a quick look through other comics, and the only time I've seen that bend in the spine of a male superhero was Batman getting his back broken over Bane's knee. Just because something is commonplace doesn't make it acceptable. After all, bullying is commonplace in schools, but it's hardly acceptable.

That pose is nowhere near. For one, her back is flat, and her torso is aligned with her hips. Sister Psyche's back is bent at a severe (for a spine) angle, and her torso is behind her hips. The unnatural bend of the back is the number one problem with her pose.

Actually, you get Ouroboros at level 25, not 24 currently. And you have to train to 25, not just be combat level 25.

    Solved

It's generally considered proper form to not edit out your problem, but rather to add "hey, this is how I solved it", so that if someone else has the problem, they can look at your thread and get it done right away.

  23. As the title says. The arc, as it currently stands, is antithetical to teaming through it, due to the middle set of her missions being given out in a completely random order, thus preventing concerted efforts to do the arc together. No other arc in this game does this.

In short, fix this horrible oversight.
  24. Echoing a few other posters, one glaring problem with this problem is the very blatant changes to BAB. As a comparison, here's a still from one of the CoV launch trailers:

Compare that to the piece of art we were given in this thread. Not only was BAB's skin lightened quite a bit (the comparisons to Dave Bautista are spot on, he's looking like he's Greek/Filipino rather than black), his hair was straightened. In the CoV trailer, he has extremely curly hair, such that this new hairstyle looks like he took a chemical straightener to it.

The problem with this is how common such lightening of skin tones is in media. There was even a case where singer Beyoncé Knowles (who is already quite light-skinned) had her skin tone lightened by a magazine editor for their cover.

Sister Psyche's pose (and unfortunate facial expression) are a separate problem that has plagued comic books horribly. The attempt at making a feminine pose has left her with at minimum a strained spine, and for those less flexible, a broken one.
