As a 5+ year vet of Freedom, you want to get out of the single overcroweded zone in all of blueside? Leave Atlas. Congratulations, you now are in perfectly reasonably filled zone. If that's too overcrowded, shall I recommend Dark Astoria, Boomtown, and any of the other zones that are all, but dead even on Freedom?

The rest of your post isn't even worth responding to. It's basically watching somebody debate the context of words for the stroking of one's ego. Even the statement I quoted is so horribly overblown. Oh, and let me point out a small piece of irony in what you posted. Read what I quoted and then know it's from somebody who made a thread complaining about lack of teams. Game. Set. Match. [/thread].
  5. Play a hardcore character and ignore your inspirs. I dare you.

FYI for those not in the know, hardcore means you delete the character if you die. There is even an SG for it on Justice and we generally play 8pm-10pm eastern on Thursdays.

I can't say the game is running smooth. I'm looking at a black screen trying to get back into Freedom.

Server status lists Freedom as being up.

I read all of this thread...because I have the time! So much for doing a Manti before before playing in the hardcore SG. It's gonna be up in an hour right? Right?

I hope this is a funny Lois not a serious one. I think they should have made Isla Fisher Lois. Getting Henry to be Superman will be a millions times better than Brandon. British have a better screen presence than Americans. I just hope he has an American accent. Having a british supeman would kind of stink. "It's a bird, no it's a plane, bloke...it's Superman."
Amy Adams is Isla Fisher with better acting chops.

  12. I would put an end mod in SB versus end reduc. Might as well help however you are SBing out with their end since you are boosting their recharge.

So the Suggestions and Ideas forum is just there for the looks? FYI, powerset ideas have been put into the game which originated from that forum.
  14. Char is way underslotted. Transfusion doesn't need that much recharge. 1 recharge is really enough. Fire Cages could use a little more end reduc. Hot Feet needs a lot more end reduc. Basically slotting gives it 3 end reduc. If you go less, you'll want more end recovery coming from somewhere. Siphon speed needs 4 slot minimum. 1 acc, 3 recharge. Way overkill on acc and recharge for FF. You'll want stun in there. Against higher level mobs the lack of duration will hurt. Cinders is horribly underslotted. Tactics needs a end reduc. It should get more tohit buff as well. Transference needs end mod. FS gets 2 acc, 3 recharge.

It was deemed the most skippable power in the set before tanks got their recent HP boost. I'm not sure how good it would be for a tank now, but it's really only useful for them, so I would still consider it skippable if you have a tight build.
  16. She can flat out act when given the chance. She tends to due the overly bubbly character as her best, but she's got range. Even if I didn't like the movie overall, she was amazing in Junebug, which she was nominated for best supporting actress, but didn't win.

The comic book is a metacommentary on both the political climate of the day *and* on comic books. By turning it into a movie, they lost that entire layer of the story. And by losing that layer, they made it just another adventure movie, because they didn't substitute an equivalent commentary on cinematic or pop culture. Which would've been pointless even if they had, since there are numerous movies which have done that over the past 70 years.

Duplicating the drawings shot for shot doesn't make up for losing the entire point of the comic.
And at the end of the day neither one of them were all that entertaining.
  19. I'm completely ignorant about Invul, but I went and did some further clean up on the build. I just remembered I would 3 slot Weave for def before I would CJ.

Not sure where they got their numbers for the masses having the same opinion either. I generally give about a 20% buffer between critics and the masses. Suckerpunch is at 76% with the masses. Ok. Big Momma's House I and II got 68% and 69% respectively. Yeah, not putting much faith in that 76%.

The general masses aren't the best at determining what's good. It's like going on Amazon and seeing something getting 4.5 stars and thinking, "Wow, that must be awesome," when in reality it isn't near the top of it's kind. Still, a low 20% from RT. 36 from Metacritic which is even more accurate since it takes the average score versus thumbs up, or down. The review in my local paper, although it's a national guy, called it Airbender with bustiers. That's just a brutal comparison to have. Is it going to make money this weekend? It's pretty much a virtual lock to be number one.

EDIT: My point is, if the masses put it at a C grade move, then it's likely that it's just not that good.
