I am playing a second edition Dark Sun D&D game with my fiance as DM, plus four friends. My character has a tendency to push forward constantly, and only one of the other players takes 'point' almost as much as I do. There was an encounter where my first character had been taken over by an NPC group and was currently DM-controlled, so my alternate character came in, with the backstory of having been sent by the group's patron to figure out what was taking the group so long. While the rest of the group was worriedly wondering how they would defeat the NPCs without killing my character, my alternate charged in with her weapons flailing. EVERYONE was completely baffled why I would possibly risk my character by attacking without a care.
Well, BECAUSE! That is what that alt would do! She was a gladiator who killed her masters to get free, she is totally bad ***, and these guys are just a bunch of losers to defeat, AND YOU GUYS ARE TALKING TOO MUCH!!! (By the way, nobody died and my first character got some awesome stuff.)
It *REALLY* hit home that sometimes you just need to jump in feet-first. Talking too much leads to the low-wisdom character asking the telepathic bad guys if they have work for us to do, thus allowing them to get the drop on us in the first place that *got* my main character mind-controlled. -
I have highlighted the part that makes me saddest about Cars being so heavily monetized.

Quote:Oh for the love of god, please share this with the class!!!!I have a spreadsheet where I enter the last time I ran an SSA on the character and it compares it to the present time/date. When I update the page, it flags all characters that are eligible for earn an A-Merit. I also have a section to track my 'free runs' on each character.

Quote:I don't think they should do that because they list out the separate serial codes that are used to provide the boxes/perks.They could change it so it looks like
GR 2 Retail
19 Perks
etc
and just make it incease the number instead of listing
perk
perk
perk
etc
Besides, I would rather them list out exactly what I bought, separately, to have an actual purchase history. Having them say "you bought 6 server transfers" says nothing; it says nothing about what I spent on them, or when I bought them; that is not a purchase history. -

It is, by the way, on the main forum list instead of a post somewhere. English > Development > Character Copy Tool (Live to Training Room).

The wait is six days and eighteen hours, according to a test that Ironblade did. (His results were actually "between 6 days 17.5 hours and 6 days 18.7 hours", so it's almost guaranteed 6 days 18 hours.) So you can do your stuff at the same time each week and unless you start super early the next time you won't have to worry.
I can't seem to log in right now for whatever random reason, so I can't double check. Do these contacts grant you a permanent souvenir for the arc? Or do they revoke the souvenir when the TF is complete? If their souvenirs are permanent you can check that way. -

Samuel_Tow's muscular-abs for women is the only mod I see mentioned anywhere anymore.
And now I can't find the picture of his troll girl who the mod was intended for. -
This is my UI. This is slightly older, as I have left the Picnic channel and removed that tab, and have added a tab next to Broadcast with League, Team, Broadcast, and PMs (this is only in use when I'm on an iTrial).
I have also removed Tray 5 because I created a popmenu in my default keybinds with a bunch of my miscellaneous power activations that are the same across all characters, like base transport, mission transport, assemble the team, jump pack, etc. Account level stuff all my characters have.
Everything I need is either a couple clicks away, or a button-push keybind away. -
Quote:Look up the item on the wiki.CoH was a pretty complex game when I started 7 years ago, and since then, it has multiplied currencies and enhancements and temp powers and is even more complex. Now there are windfalls and boosters and all manner of things.
Is there a guide that can walk through the ways one could obtain recipes, enhancements and temp powers?
To use an example, I was looking for a Kismet +Accuracy. I could 1) have a recipe drop 2) find and purchase a recipe at Wentworth's or 3) purchase a crafted enhancement at Wentworth's.
Could I trade in a Hero Merit at Fort Trident? (I tried and I don't think so, but if I were sure, I would not be asking, would I? )
Could I use Reward Merits and get it for sure at a Merit Vendor? Could I obtain it through a Random Roll, and if so, could I get it at a much lower level should I wish to exemp?
Could I use Architect Tickets, and ditto using Random Rolls there?
How would I know what can be obtained where and for what, and whether it is certain or a random roll? If what I want cannot be obtained at Fort Trident, for example, how would I know that?
Are there ways to obtain one I do not even know about??
Hence my question: Is there a comprehensive guide to this somewhere? It would have to be "How To Obtain Stuff For Dummies" in my case!

I don't think we've set up a ticket flag, but that would be pretty simple. (We're looking into simplifying and small-er-fying the purchase flags, too.) -
I'm sorry, but this is just not acceptable:
It's never actually been acceptable, honestly; I have just dealt with it because you weren't taking my money very often for non-subscription things.
However, now you're asking us to spend money regularly outside (or instead) of our subscription. I am just fed up with it now in combination with the lack of transparency with Paragon Market purchase history (at least we know when we get our points) and Paragon Rewards token history.
The only reason why I know what the disc release codes are is judging by the date of application compared to what releases came out around that time. I have no idea what most of those perks are; some of them are the super boosters and some are convention costume codes; others are server transfers, renames, and I think one respec.
I *know* ya'll know what I bought at the time, because every item in the NCsoft store/ingame store had a separate item code to apply to the account. It's also visible in the GvE item pack and the Wedding pack, whose names are very clearly marked.
Do you know how stupid this makes your billing system look? -
Coming soon. Your wish is granted.

Quote:I can't find the picture now but on Beta someone did up a whole picture with a side by side comparison with a real foot in a real shoe that looked similar to the strappy boot.I think this is a case of people not understanding body proportions.
A normal woman's foot is more than half the length of her thigh. Go ahead ladies, put the heel of your foot at the crook of your thigh and see how far your toes reach.
I know this is a game based on comic books and it's hard to reach anything close to normal human proportions. I tend to pull the legs slider all the way down, move the chest slider down a bit, and the waist slider up a bit. That's as close as I can come to actual female body proportions, and it's close.
Based on that, the feet we have currently in game are about the quarter the size they should be if the feet were proportional. The Pocket D boots are much more close to accurate proportions for the character model.
If people don't like the appearance that's one thing, but to say they're too big for the body borders on dysmorphic.
They looked completely different, and the strappy boot looked even worse when viewed side by side with a real foot in a real shoe than it does when it's by itself.
They also dislodged the ankles with the strappy boot, but that's easily overlooked because most people don't know where the ankle should be off the top of their head. (out of sight out of mind) -
Death From Below (live) and Drowning In Blood (still on beta).

They are exactly the same. All of the archetype enhancements are in the Rare cards, and all of the archetype enhancements are in the Very Rare cards. They're even in the same order. Check the wiki link from upthread for a listing by card number.

I have no idea how you can accidentally delete an inspiration.
First, you have to move your mouse pointer overtop of a certain inspiration. Then you have to right-click your mouse. Then you have to left-click on the menu that opens up. That's three times you can check yourself and say, "Oh, hello Luck! This isn't the Awaken I wanted to delete! Let me move my mouse over there, to the Awaken, and....there we go! Glad I saved that Luck!"
Now, misusing inspirations, I can see. Much easier since it's one mouse click or one button push, which can easily go awry. However, I would not agree to a confirmation popup upon inspiration use, that's just stupid. Inspirations drop so frequently, you should almost never be without the buff of one if you're pushing yourself. Too often people die with full inspiration trays. :/
Deleting? Not so much with the "easy to screw up". -
So in your world, only people who punch things in the face are natural?
Robin Hood used a bow, he's tech? Musashi used a sword, he's tech? Batman uses gadgets, he's tech?
That's a sad world to live in where people whose immense skill with an item (or multiple items) renders them "not natural". -
The strap boots look great when viewed straight on, straight from behind, or up to 1/3. The further perpendicular they get, the worse they look, until they look like flippers when they're side-on.

Quote:I'm pretty sure that's not true. They were given as a Facebook promotion. Anyone could log in to Facebook and get them, regardless of where they lived, wasn't it?
Kaitlyn Montenegro: Ok... A request for the store: the facepalm emote. They were given on contests only for NA an EU players... How about at least allowing purchase of it for the rest of the world?
EDIT:Quote:Jeremy Zharkov: Is the toga ever going to be in the item mall? I literally cannot do the mission to get it (Even my brutes get killed, much less my squishy characters like blasters/dominators) but would love to have it -

Quote:Well, yeah. I said that. The part you quoted was about Premium accounts made *AFTER* Freedom. My Premium account unlocked Khelds before Freedom launch and still has access to them.
