They use Dull Pain ONCE when they get to low health. Then they get curb stomped.
Besides, Freaks dont ALWAYS rez. Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont.
And if they do, Dull Pain hasnt even recharged! So yopu curb stomp them again! And get the exp again!

Ok, at least I managed to get the Support page working. The part 'email or username' is really, really misleading. It has to be email.
Also, on a side note; do you need an account JUST for Support? It kept logging me out every time I went to the Support page from logging in.... -
Possibly shear bad luck. Rikti do drop Merits somewhat infrequently, aside from Ship Raids. Trust me, I managed to buy a few of the costume pieces WITHOUT going on ship raids on my Colonel....that took a loooooooong time.
That, and the Rikti in that arc are sometimes scaled up Lost. So Im not sure wether the scaling up interferes? -
Logged onto test a lot before, mostly for I14 Beta.
I get the standard "The login server could not connect, either due to firewall or it might be maintenance" message.
I could log on fine before the I16 was on it, and other people have been able to log onto it earlier in the morning. I can log onto Live fine, so its not a firewall or anything.
Puzzled much. The Server status says the Training Room is down, maybe it IS for maintenance...but that doesnt explain why I had the same problem all of early in the morning when it was first put on. -
Alright, WHO and HOW do I contact anyone to get this sorted out?
Attempted to log into the Test server, deemed online, at around 2am. It wasnt working out, so I left it.
It's now 9am, 7 hours of break, and it STILL wont let me in!
I can log into Live just fine, so it's nothing firewall or whatnot related.
And I can't contact Support on the NCSoft page, due to the fact, even when I am Logged In it keep asking me to create an account...Im logged in, WTF? Great usable feature....Not.
Other people HAVE been on test, so it IS working. Wth?
Edit: Although, having said that, the official list says that BOTH Training Rooms are currently offline...
So, why did they announce they were up? And people could get on?
Now my cerebro circuits are glitching out -_- -

It does count as access - but it's exactly the same sort of acces sthat anyone who can get a US CoX trial can get - whether they're an existing subscriber to a form of CoX or not.

This is as much fail as the server/host issue on Gears of War 2 online. And THAT is as close to a gaming/online sin as anything in the whole world. As in ***** style.
So flaming mad about this right now, mostly to do with the craven way the Devs are ignoring this and deleting threads about it. -

Rather than blithely announcing that ALL Players have access to Beta. Given the hassle you have to go through to copy Test, let it update ALL the US version and get an account on it, that does NOT Count as access.

The most realistic gun set so far is the VEAT Soldier gun set.
It really is a pity that the sets are so...rigid. In a way, although its hella unlikely to happen outside of CoX 2, it would be nice if every set has as much diversity as the EAT sets. Close assault weapon, Standard rifle and Long range, for an AR example. -

Blasters are the Wizards of other MMO's and in other MMO's I dont see too many getting into melee as a desired effect. All be it, at low levels it sometimes comes in handy and perhaps getting 1 melee attack might be good for IO sets or whatever but 4-5 attacks? They are very useful if ya intend to get all your debt badges by lvl 30.
Very bad idea, if you suggest changing that. If you don't fancy melee, choose /Devices. The only melee(ish) range power in it is taser. -

I would so play that. Would allow me to make a more combat-worthy independant version of my Mastermind. Also has a slightly different flavour to most of the other sets.
