Both raids, Cimerora, the STF/LRSF/Reichs TF, PvP, and Ouroboros, which actually comes with another high level SF/TF in the form of the battle at Siren's Call.
Also, be glad you get anything for playing the game for absolutely free. -
Quote:Chyeah. I23 brings us DA maps and a few other ones, and also DA/Incarnate enemy groups. It's nice. We're supposed to be getting the new Incarnate-level enemy groups (and possibly new maps? too lazy to check) next Issue.
Unrelated, sometimes that particular acronym for "City of X" really makes things uncomfortable.
But I agree we could use StJ, Staff, etc. etc. -
Quote:Don't quote me on this, but didn't one of the art designers say once that actually making customizable effects for pool powers wouldn't be that huge a job? And that the real problem is that tweaking the UI would be a massive pain in the ***?If case people have forgotten, we had very much this same discussion before tintable colors for powersets. We had very much the same replies from the devs: It's too time-intensive, the tech isn't there, there's no staff available to do it, etc. Yet in hindsight, BABs was working on color customization for powers for months if not over a year before it went live... while still neatly avoiding any spoilers about what he was doing, so it was a big surprise when the announcement was made.
Who's to say that something similar isn't going on now, with color customization for power pools currently being worked on in secret or maybe even already finished, and the devs are just keeping it a very tightly-held secret until the big reveal?
Honestly, Paragon Studios needs to hire a legit UI designer to work on CoH. -
Totally trying this. Be back with results.
Edit: Just now ran it twice. It sits there regardless of which faction you choose. However, it won't attack you if you are a hero or if you run ahead without choosing just yet. If you're a villain, though, it'll attack. You can't target it or anything, either. I think it's a Chaser from the battle in the air that spawned in the wrong spot. Here's some pics.

No doubt about it, definitely a bug. -
Related to this, back in the day me and a bud of mine would mess with those Korean inf farmers. They had the crazy "ggfoiheiuber84" names, obviously random-button-generated costumes, and frequently swept the streets with low level characters in low level zones. We'd follow 'em around for a bit and kill their mobs before they could. After awhile, they'd realize what we were up to and try to lose us within the city by ducking behind alleys and stuff. It got pretty entertaining, especially since they never tried just doing a paper mission or something.

Would be nice if they finally got around to updating the AE power sets.
And I23 is actually giving us some new maps and enemy groups, including the Incarnate level enemy groups. -
Quote:I still don't see a problem, and this pretty much goes hand in hand with that I said. So 'kay. While that may be true, it does look like what they're doing is rebranding their normal Saturday lineup and swapping in a few rather old series along with the addition of Durarara, which may have already been in the pipeline for the Saturday block. Add some Tom bumpers and POOF, Toonami is back! Using nostalgia to bring back some fans of an old show while saving money by reusing old series is brilliant from a marketing and profitability standpoint.

No, this idea does not need more attention. I've never heard someone in game say they enjoy unlocking the PPPs. Heroes do not need their own versions for "balance" or "parity", because we still run into the same issue of villains having to go out of their way to become a hero to get them. What we do need are more APPs. Open to all, not specifically themed around a single character, and the only requirement is gaining levels. Right now it's pathetic how few we really have.
Also, lol necro thread. -
Quote:Dude. Calm down.If you have criticisms or want to give them some useful suggestions. Here is the CN feedback page (and my not-necessarily-helpful response rant).
Cartoon Network feedback page.
"I just saw the lineup for the Toonami re"launch" which is just slapping the formerly beloved label on the same stale Saturday lineup.
You guys aren't even trying. You do realize that Japan hasn't stopped making series right? You realize that Cowboy Bebop is 14 years old right? You realize FLCL is only 6 episodes right? You realize you have two different Full Metal Alchemist series scheduled in the same block, right? Are you guys running your programming from your dead cousin's old VHS "japanimation" hand-me-downs box? Good lord. There is a freaking universe of potential quality programming available and you give us THIS? My god. There's this thing called "the internet". Maybe you can check out a couple of animation-related websites, and get a clue or three (for free!) from your TARGET AUDIENCE instead of wondering why your marketing people (or person or intern) can't re-brand your olive loaf on white bread into something edible. "
Yeah I'm sure that will make a BIG difference (not). But I had to vent.
For starters, this was an April Fool prank that got popular. They might not have had the time to actually go out and get a ton of new series'.
Second, this may very well be a sort of trial run. If it gets enough viewers, it'll warrant them investing money into it and doing new and more things.
And third, chill the **** out. It's Toonami. That, by default, is good. Crazy fan rants like these usually lead to why we can't have nice things. -
Quote:dapancaq?Once again marketing drops the ball and promises the moon before delivering a small chunk of moon rock. Although it shouldn't come as any real surprise, nothing in the original announcement suggested that it would be consumables only as appears to be the case.
No, it's not a slap in the face, but the whole thing was pretty misleading, but I'm honestly starting to expect that from Paragon Studios these days. -
In I23, inside the Midnight Mansion in Night Ward there's an Exploration badge or something. Pretty sure I heard getting it unlocks Midnighter Club access. So if you want to avoid the standard arc, go to Night Ward and do it that way instead.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, though. -
Sounds fun. Quick nitpick, though. The Rikti Traditionalists are the good guys, who believe in the old traditions of a peaceful Rikti community. The Restructurists are the bad ones.

More zone events, plz. It's a shame we never got any with Dark Astoria or Atlas Park/Mercy Island. I'm not talking giant monsters that hand out crappy rewards for the work involved. I mean like Praetoria's awesome zone events that give out cool rewards that make running them worth it.
Also maybe even toss in a contact that hands out repeatable missions in various zones where you kill X amount of group Y in area Z. Make these missions optional, have 'em hand out decent xp, and bam.
And yeah, agreed on the more instanced zone maps. Always love more and varied maps. -

I am going to ERP like there's no tomorrow in each and every one of those places.

Quote:You could try finding the global of the person with the name, send them a /tell, and see if they respond that way. Might be a helluva lot easier, too, since only a small percentage of folks regularly visit these forums. Is there a name you want that is already taken? Why not ask for it to be released?
I'm going to start, I've always wanted the name BlackLight. If you have it and read this, please let me know if you would be willing to give it up! My global is @Daemonas.
Thanks! -
Typos are small, easy to miss, and if they get fixed no one will ever know unless the devs themselves say "See? We fixed this typo!" which, imo, isn't worth a spot on patch notes.
So chill out. See a typo, bug it, move on. It's not the end of the world. It's not unacceptable. **** happens. -
I dunno who I want to bring, tbh. I'll just see what JT has up his sleeve for the next part of the story and decide then.

A lot of people will say the new space map.
Honestly? I couldn't care less which one is best, I just want all these maps in the AE.
