She must be a kin because she spurs people to toward ambition.

You can get a flight pack temp power from a mission that works just fine.
But, one of the trade off of taking SS is the relative lack of vertical movement. People who take flight of SJ , or TP all give up something too when compared to the other travel powers. If there were one travel power that did everything, we all take it and nothing else.

To participate the way you want, with SS AND some sort of vertical power as well, you can respec into two travel powers or accept that having one travel power and access to a temp that covers your first travel powers deficiencies isn't too bad.
  5. The /electrics I know run power surge as often as possible.

With PS up, /electric is a beast. I think +Recharge may be more important to /electric than some other secondaries.

Perceived theme isn't grounds enough by itself for changing a power, imho.

Lots of us have it, but think about how silly that is. Please request that a ramp be added somewhere.
Currently, on redside anyway you can get a flight pack from an arc that DOES work in the iTrials.
There may be another and there may be one blueside. idk
  8. windows dumps the dns cache?
Yeah at least once every 24 hours.

    nvm
    hmm

I dig empowerment stations. I use up as much of my salvage on these things as I can whenever I get ready to do missions.

Lots of people swear by the -kb one.
My favorite is the increase attack speed.

The invisibility thing and hostages can be pita, but it's nice that the invis doesn't stop when I click a glowie.
  11. Well, good for fly.

I might take a look at thinking about deciding if I should consider choosing it sometime.

  15. "worth it" is subjective and depends on what you're forgoing

I think that the improvement from the 3rd slot isn't too great.

I wouldn't do it unless I just had some slots to burn.

I think the one flyspeed in swift and one in fly give you the most speed per enhancement and it goes downhill from there.

    Check Mids'
  16. I have gotten those sorts of requests while I was logged on to lvl 1 experimental market mule.
[I am seeing how much I can make off of a single market slot. I am up to just over 500mil in profit with a bid out.]

I don't need a prize. Seeing my toon in an arc is fun enough for me.

But, since you mentioned a prize and since I like the project, I thought I'd offer to chip in.

Just let me know in advance so I can make sure to have enough liquid resources or w/e.

LOL. That's what I thought. Don't they have access to italics and/or quotation marks? Dashes already have a meaning and a use.
  19. Ignorance is fertile grounds for FUD and conspiracy theories.
W/o that info, strange theories and worse will abound.

I am not of the opinion that having the player base spread a multitude of theories and info that are of questionable veracity will necessarily be better than having players "gaming" the game.
But the criteria I used to reach my conclusion about what is better may not be the same criteria that the devs are using to reach theirs.

Before real numbers came out, how long did it take the players to figure out the data?
Atm, it seems to me that the only way to really keep the info secret is to keep people form playing or to change up the system often enough that patterns cannot be discerned.
We will figure it out at some point. It's just a matter of time.
During that time, theories will be told and retold about how things work. The effect of all that theorizing and rumor mongering is not necessarily a good thing.

All imho. Obviously, for some, ymmv.

The same business of completing an iTrial I would guess. That's how I took it anyway.

It doesn't mean we don't value our other customers, it just means that we acknowledge that not everyone has the same skill sets.

Treating everyone exactly the same sounds great until you actually want to get stuff done.
If they're gonna use her for these sorts of things, cut her a check.

No reward in this game is worth enough for me to screw my team/league mates, so under no circumstances will I choose to help or not help my team/league mates based on what a participation algorithm says. Anyone who says they are being forced to abandon their league members is making excuses for their purely voluntary crappy behavior, an excuse I do not accept.
Free will is what it is.
Of course people are not relieve of any individual of responsibility for their actions. However, I suspect it can be demonstrated and is well known that rewarding certain behavior increase the incidence of the rewarded behavior. So there is some responsibility that rest on the shoulders of individuals who decide to reward the behavior.

So I would say give us the real wait time and not the 1 minute fake time.
It's average wait time. And yes, the average gets skewed to the point where it doesn't seem to be meaningful information at all.

Some ppl have suggested that it should be # of ppl in queue instead of an estimated average wait time.
  24. I mostly use hurdle+combat jumping when outside and mostly use super speed inside.
I have ninja run and beast run. But they're not particularly useful in the trials imho. Granted if we didn't get to use the sky raider flight pack, I might use the runs to get to the guns in the lambda. Maybe not, idk. hurdle + cj works for a lot.
