I think it's more to do with the way Nvidia handles dual/multi screen setups.

Have a look under your advanced options for Multi-Display/Mixed GPU Acceleration under Manage 3D Settings and set it to Single Display Performance Mode.

That's what worked for me.

Or in my case, logs out, opens a browser window, crashes game... then again, seeing as I was looking at the 'Mapserver has fallen over' message I'm not missing much.

AFAIK it's because height (and basic toon type) is only stored once per toon, rather than per costume. Rather than have an edit change all the costume slots, which would be different behaviour to all the other costume items, they made it uneditable.

Just stick everything, with a few exceptions (luck charms etc) on there for 100inf... it all sells pretty quick and just because you're not asking a lot doesn't mean someone's not willing to pay a lot for it.

I made a couple of hundred-thousand the other night in one trip to the black market and asked no more than 100inf for anything... That'll see me in DOs until 20

As far as the self destruct power being an imbalancing uber attack of doom, it's not. It's lard on a stick. Couldn't even asplode a +1 lieutenant. I can't see it has any practical use other than being Death's Taxi once an hour.

Just like lard on a stick however, it's bloody good fun to wave around and chase people with though.



Edit - Honestly, I get the wrong end of the stick, get my twopenneth ready to throw in, prime the pram/toys launcher and someone comes along and clarifies things! I don't know why I bother sometimes, but at least I can go and take my words back.

CoX has spoiled us. I personally thought Auto Assault was fun while it lasted.

I've upgraded from an ATI card so I'm used to not having the DoF and FSAA and pretty water on, I'm just curious really.

Cheers FFM... this seems to be the problem... it really doesn't like the FSAA and DoF either, though on a 512mb card I'd not expect that to be a problem

ummm... no... then again, I don't seem to have the checkbox for safe mode. I thought verifying files might've caused it to appear, but it's not.

It usually lives somewhere by the d/l progress bar and next button right?

Is there a -switch for it?
