The player who has "Antares" on Virtue has had it for years and their Global Name is @Antares1
Not relinquish it anytime soon. -
Totally just realized it's Pride Month!
I know City always had a strong LGBT community; one of those perks about City that I always liked. What's going on this year on Virtue for Pride? *looks at The Cape Radio (cause they're in the know)*
Happy Pride! -

I think Inherent Health Pool opens up builds to more options. Remember when you pretty much had to take Swift or Hurdle at level 6 so you could take Health at 14 and Stamina at 20?
So much better now. -
Smaller game (playerbase) = More Active Devs = Awesome

Nefarios Ghast
Former Commander in The Thermacorps, an intergalactic peacekeeping organization. Each member wields cosmic power that can generate a variety of effects, sustained purely by the bearer's imagination and strength of will. Nefarios is a highly educated adversary with Degrees in Philosophy, Law and Politics. By the time he was appointed Commander, Nef had several commendations and a well-standing position as peacekeeper; but he also had a notorious reputation for violent outbursts and very unorthodox methods. After the unfortunate events in the Chi Sector, Nef was dishonorably discharged for his radical ideas about law & order. Nefarios Ghast believes that the denizens of the galaxy are weak and require constant guidance. Subsequently, the only Order is his Order. He suffers from a classic superiority complex, no doubt due to his race's long-lives and that they established an intergalactic empire while humans were still building pyramids. His powers seem to have no limit as do his ambitions. He will do anything, even betray his own allies, in order to achieve his goals. -
Yay!
Congratulations! -
Quote:I left City for WoW in 2007 and called "quests" "mishes" for the longest time. "Groups" were "teams" and "mana" was "end./endurance" - The last one right up until I left in March! You know what the guys meant. CoH renames all kinds of standard fantasy rpg stuff into comic book equivalents. Is that a reason to harass a new player trying to learn a new game? And no, that doesn't mean he's from WoW, those are standard rpg terms used in many games, online and off.
So be nice and friendly, answer his questions, and be polite enough to let him use the fantasy terms if he wants to.
And now that I'm back it's the other way around! :P
S'okay. We all know what he was talking about. -
What is a good concept for Stone/Fire Brute? I was playing with a Legacy Chain hero sorta thing.
I know SM/FA is relatively popular...So what are the concepts out there? -
Quote:Timepulse? Meet Timecrusher :PMost recently however, Timepulse was born. Electric Control/Kinetics Controller.
Quote:Lots of great stuff here. I've long admired Mobilise, which I think is one of the best examples of 21st-century style of superhero design. I find myself completely incapable of capturing the modern design zeitgeist, so I has the envy.
Ricochet Racer is drop-dead gorgeous and the opposite end of the spectrum, evoking the pulp and Golden Age of superheroes perfectly.
And to round it out, Mr. Velocity exquisitely captures the burgeoning Silver Age design of characters like Whizzer and Speed Demon.
I'll have to get some screenies of my speedsters, although none are as good as these three.
It's the Classic Look I can't do.
And, I don't have any speedsters. I'm not a fan of the orange-yellow glow effect. -
Ummm, no. The Rogue Isles are dangerous places. The whole point of a dynamic online environment is that it is, well, dynamic.
Besides, if that happened, who would kill the randomly spawned Voids and Quantums when I'm on my Warshade? -
Quote:I think my fire/ss tank ABko is the only non-side switching toon on freedom to break 1000 badges
1002 as of today.
This thread is from 2010! >.< Necropost!
It is ridiculously easy to get 1000 Badges now...Even just with Explore Badges (probably)! -
So often people create these OMGSOAWESOME builds...But they forget the most important part of the character - The Leveling process. I bet more than half of "This will be my new toon" characters don't make it past lvl 20.
Would you say that /Regen is slotted differently for Scrappers, than Stalkers? I mean besides Hide. -
How often do you do that? Are there level areas where it slows down and becomes difficult to progress?
-
How is leveling Regen? What do you suggest, IOs or SOs? Do you slot sets as you level or wait until 50?
-
My theme/concept is Radiation and only /Invuln works for me. I think I'll do a Kin/Invuln Scrapper. I only have one Scrapper, but I'd like more.
I'm going to hold off making the character in case the Devs announce Rad/Rad soon-ish. -
Radiation Melee/Radiation Armor Brute
-
Well, I'm thinking of making a Radioactive-themed character.
Messing with the customizations, I have a nice KM Rad effect. Secondaries, I was thinking Regen Scrapper...How is Regen for Stalkers?
Or KM/Invlun Scrapper/Brute. I threw Stalkers in just /cause they have it, as a joke. Didn't realize that KM seems to be awesome on Stalkers! -
Stalkers? Really? Wow. I'm surprised.
So what Secondary works well for KM Stalkers?
Jeez, Stalkers? I can't believe it!
