From the realtive shadows of one of the halls pillars, Wolf glared at the stage and the apparently unexpected Shocktrooper mob.
Maybe they were just fans who wanted to throw a surprise song and dance routine. Maybe they were just slightly over-eager, and had got too much into character.
And maybe Hro'Dtohz would sit down for tea and cookies with Lady Grey this Sunday...As likely as hell freezing over. Speaking of freezing...
Wolf flexed his right arm, the large gauntlet humming faintly into life as a coating of frost covered it. His rifle, bereft of ammo, was still slung over his back. But his power armour was still alive and kicking and, if push came to shove, that was just what he was gonna do. -
Maybe there doesn't need to be giant statues. Yeah, a thousand+ giant, giant statues would be oh so daft.
But an archive of City Heroes, maybe? Or, even better; in Founders Falls, a lot of the bridges and suchnot have angel statues on them. Simply replace them with Hero statues? The 'Heroes Bridge' and suchnot. -

I think the arguement is less about the build and wether the player is actually being a help to the team or a hinderance. A question which is much more fair, imo

I can't do any of that stuff, but I'm happy with my Bots/traps namesake steamrollering x5 missions without issues.

But even so, without a whole lot of animations work - the sword or axe or whatever would still be in the scabbard. Currently, that's the way it works with Infernal (never seen Valkyrie in action, but I assume it's the same).
Someone mentioned upthread that they thought that looked silly in CO.
If people would be OK with the weapon remaining in its scabbard even while being used, then it's just a matter of reworking the models to have a better back attachment slot.
But if they want the weapon to actually be drawn from the scabbard and the scabbard to be empty while the weapon is in use - then I would have to say that there are a whole lot more things I would rather BaBs & his minions work on instead.
Turning around and saying you wanted three scoops and chocolate sauce as well is kinda...well
And yeah, thats how they work atm for Infernal and Valk. And the Tsoo and suchnot. If we could get even that, it'd be cool. -
People do realise that Valkyrie and Infernal already do this? And they are both NOT basic male models. I know they are NPC rigs, and thus work slightly differently to our own. Needless to say, I think that if the Devs can get it to work and look right, they will add it in. They're very good like that.

They had some interesting power choices. And the fog in Steel was pretty cool looking.
1) Animation for turning.
2) Shadow when flying. Dynamic shadow, for that matter.
3) Take off animation.

T'be fair, Im on the side of the OP, here.
And, for people going 'whaa, ITF easy, stfu', well, yeah. It's *usually* easy...which makes it all the worse when things go backside up because someone you are relying on can't or wont pull their weight.
Concept builds are fine. But we have dual builds now. Having a concept/RP build and then a functional build would be, while not mandatory, would be expected/polite/nice. -

I know that the EM changes were made for balance. But they still feel, for me anyhow, like they gutted the set for Tanks. Mediocre AoE damage, Mediocre ST damage that actually hits before someones killed the target anyway.
Possibly because nearly every other tanker secondary outperforms it? At least without some mass IO investment. (Again, this is purely based on opinion and own observations) -

Seriously, NO ONE fires a rifle like that. EVER. Flamethrower, yes, maybe. Because it really doesnt matter.
Rifle itself and the grenade launcher you need to aim. I love the animation for Sniper Rifle, due to it actually looking like an assault rifle when it's fired.
More animations where the rifle is brought up to the shoulder and fired would be fantastic. -

Sounds like someone who deserved to be kicked, t'be honest. I understand getting irate on a hard TF (I was going nuts on my first and only LRSF where it seemed Numina had gone buff happy while we all hospitalled. The last mission was then impossible.)
