they could do it the other way around, until you have a lvl 50, your XP rate is higher.
but after you have a lvl 50, the currency go's as current, with an unlocked option to slow down the lvling.(so with that option, you need 25% more XP then normal)

just make it so that when you have a lvl 50 already, your XP gain is 20% lower then a non-lvl 50 owner.
or does that make things to unfair?

it would be fun to have explode-able crates next to enemies, and every crate has just 20 health so they can be used as a starter dmg dealing concept.

i had it on my labtop for about 15 minutes, then xp media center replaced it and gone horror.
it's just the thing MS should never do, creating a linux.

step one, uninstal vista and use xp SP3 x64
step 2, get a better mainboard, asus is known for it's crashes.

This is half the problem, tbh - in online games once a power/set gets a bad rep for having been weak or nerfed once, then that can carry through in the playerbase consciousness even when it is no longer true.

Mace used to be known as one of the weakest melee sets, but now it has been fixed and is meant to be pretty good now - but for players who don't read forums/patch-notes and haven't tried it in ages the set will continue to be seen as a weak set and they'll continue to push negative vibes around in-game about it, despite the fix.

that's the same thing what happened with assassins in GW, most newbies play it from the beginning and it has a bad name, seen as a n00b class.
but while they just begon playing, experienced players that play the assassin has the same problem getting in a party, while they are actually good.
and after a small buff, they continue to be seen as a bad class.

currently, i'm close to immortal as an assassin, but because of the bad reputation the newbies made, it's hard to get in a team.

if anything, adding one international server might make things more fun.
so nothing has to be merged, but you can still play all over the world.

as far as copyrights go, you can make everything offline, as long as it doesn't go in public.
they can make an offline costume creator, but the creator can never public the copyrighted designs of marvel/dc.
