    Uhm...I don't know any biped creatures other than Gorillas that move about using their knuckles. Just looking at the idle stance, the Ember Demon for one is sure as heck not using a standard rig, not from the way it stands or the way it moves.
  3. Sad to hear about the RL issues, Sammy =/ never a good thing.

    But at least your vid quality hasn't gone anywhere...except maybe up even more. It's a belter. I LOVED the I6 part with Recluse on all his spider legs, giving the camera evils. Pure win.

    Off topic (not a bad thing), but my Arachnos SG and the Union Roleplayers would like to contest that point, given the full scale war we had not too long ago

    Vernich, this'd much better serve your needs than what you had. You really dont need to six slot the heals, as it's really not worth it in the end. That, and Combat jumping is pretty much BUILT to have a LotG stuck in it;

  7. Given how replacing items tends to be bad idea, this is why I would suggest a whole new type of trenchcoat. Military trenchcoat, maybe?
    Certainly the option to put belts OVER jackets, as seen in the example picture. Malta can have webbing and belts over military coats, but we can't. Despite them being the same costume pieces.

    Hmm...just what are you aiming for with that build? I'm guessing lots of recharge, which isn't really much concern on an MM, certainly not a buff type one.

    Here's the build I went for on my Demons/Therm, with a focus on ranged defence and, failing that, recharge.
    Rule one of Demons; get the whip. Its the ONLY MM set to date where the attacks aren't anaemic and useless. The whip is a tool in infinite burning -res destruction. Its blimmin' fantastic.
    So, here we are;

  11. I can see what your getting at, but no way in hell would that work. Its not perma, but it'd be useable every mission. Just set it up on the door and never have to worry about dying again (even less so than the norm)

    And PvP got changed/fixed this issue so that they spawn with full health and endurance. So that'd be rather broken.
  12. Sounds nice to me, especially the Accolade one. Its a real bug seeing 5/7 or 5/6 and thinking "Oh, heck, which was the one/s I didnt have?" and having to rummage.

    The buffs may not be as grand, but if a redside team stops thinking about tackling a spawn like a blueside team would and instead attacks said spawn as the damage dealers that they are, the problems go away and the spawns melt.
    Or if they are majorly DS MMs. And then whatever you throw at them, they will laugh and zerg your backside off in a wall of fire and claws

    Oh, and my 'Rule' of being a Warshade; "Bring me corpses, I bring you massive damage."
  14. Apology excepted, fleshling

    And yeah. As anyone who was at the EU test server Dev chat will atest, one of my major bugbears is the continued mantra of 'New and shiny is better than revamps!'

    It's not. It's not when the difference between New and Old is so staggering. Play the Peregrine Island Praetorian arcs, for example. Then play the new I17 missions.
    Then you look me in the optic and tell me those don't need revamping.

    So, that was part of the 'Im not shutting up' part
  15. Valentine event barely sorts the redcap problem. I had to farm the Snaptooth mission (thanks much to a friend of mine for that) to get those damn daggers. I am heavily against any form of grinding for things like costume pieces. So, yes, make that easier to aquire and allow access to the other two in CoV. It sucks being unable to use epaulets without spikes.

    /Signed in general.
  16. I don't farm, so my advice won't be very accurate.
    But a Crab-mind with AoE focus chews up most mobs very easily. You don't need to bother with the rifle powers, as the crab powers all have an equivelant or better power.

    Get both sets of pets, and go AoE heavy would be my advice.
    If you've got a Hunstman build, my advice is the following combo;
    Wide Area Web Grenade -> Venom Nade -> Heavy Burst -> Frag nade.

    The last two are interchangeable but, when slotted up even half decently, that combo will demolish most mobs at speed. Keep Pummel and burst around for ST hammering (Seriously, Pummel is fantastic. More of then than not it stuns, and is, in general, a staple attack)

    If it's vast mob-death you are after, though, go Crab.
  17. Hmm...going to need to investigate some bases on Live having read this =/

    Bravo, Devs!

    Guess you can't please everyone.

    I love both arcs. I suddenly noticed my exp bar because, for the first time since hunting VG merits above all else on my Sword/Shield scrapper, I had completely forgotten about it. Why?

    Because the story and mission layout was great and not just a backdrop to levelling.

    It was immersive and engaging and above all FUN. Unlike SO much else of the blueside content, especially anything outside of The Hollows and Faultline at low levels, which is shockingly old and dull, dull, dull.

    More, please. Revamps; no I won't shut up about them.
  19. *sniggers*
    Ah, you fleshlings. You make me laugh.
  20. A link would have been better.
    And that really doesn't confirm anything more than we already knew; they have the copyright on the CoH2 name and the tech and forum side of it. Wether anything is actually going to come of it is a whole different ball-game.

    And it sure as heck ain't going to be soon, either, even if there is.
  21. I'm glad they made them less rare, flavour powers are always cool to have.

    What?

    Sorry but...what hell brought that on?
    Im sorry if im reading this wrong, but that reads like an attack...maybe it's just early and im still confused as to why my comment didnt show up over there either, but...
  23. Protean is much, MUCH worse on a melee character. Ninjas and Necros would have problems, I suspect, but Bots/Traps tore him up like no ones business. Fighting him with an MA/SR scrapper, now...that was painful...

    But yeah, I used one power while in the bank. Guess what it was?
    [Walk] daaaayamn, that felt goood.

When banes get hit through soft cap, they can't really remedy this since they don't have a panic power which many of the def based classes have. Besides, I'm not really a fan of taking bunch of third pools (which are available to everyone) to beef myself up at the cost of endurance in order to survive.
    Just saying.
    It's called Placate->Build Up->Shatter

    Banes are a case of ID what you *know* will be a threat, and neutralise it by using it's internals to redecorate the walls

    Ditto on all front there.
