Techbot Alpha

Alpha and the giant Assault bot, Omega, exchanged a glance. Despite not having actual faces, it was interesting to imagine just what they would have been like had they had them.
"If you're gonna stab yourself, don't let me stop ya," Alpha said after a second or two. "Saves on power, time and plasma chafe. Try not to bleed too profusely all over the carpet, as well. I dare say whoever cleans this place would appreciate that."
"Do we shoot him, or wait for him to do it for us?" Omega rumbled. "My shoulder servos are going to lock at this rate..."

The lights in the room were out, although there was a strange light from above. As Sword stepped in, however, they snapped on, bright neon flaring into life.

The strange light was, in fact, a hole in the cieling. What had caused the hole was stood right in front of him.
There was a rising, growling hum. Ruby optics glared as plasma and laser cannons powered up, the sublte click of a flamethrower pilot light igniting, the metallic whirring of seeker drones being deployed.

Six robots were arrayed in front of Sword. The first three were the shortest, all with an arm mounted laser cannon aimed levelly at him, triple optics pulsing in non-humanoid heads. Behind them and slightly to the side were two bulkier robots, jacobs-ladder style devices rising from their backs. They too had their weapons aimed, while disk shaped, bladed seeker drones hovered beside them.
And last but by no means least, a nine foot steel goliath stood behind the others, armed with massive plasma cannons on both arms, an underslung flamethrower on the right, and an entire launcher system bristling with missiles mounted onto the back unit.

A smaller figure suddenly climbed onto the giants shoulders, sitting comfortably as it unslung a laser carbine from its back, racking the slide with an ominous mechanical snap.
Techbot ALPHA chuckled nastily, before standing up and hovering into midair.
"It's not in the best interests of myself or my friends that you go any further," he stated calmly, as the entire team pointed every available weapon at Sword. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Before you...how shall we say...Leave."

Someone with a short fuse, that's who, who's seen that stunt pulled too often by others.
And for your information, the post I had with Alpha WASN'T 'Oh lol missilz u die'. I'd thank you for not treating me like some idiotic godmoder. If anyone says that, frankly, any of my characters have godmode levels, I will reply with 'Kindly go to hell', because they dont. I specifically avoid such characters, because they are simply not fun, for me to play or for anyone else to play with. Which is most of the point of RP.

As it is *shrug* carry on, I guess. I don't want to invade on a section of RP that is, really, Bunnys, not my own. When it makes sense for Alpha to step in, he will I guess.

Because it's UTTERLY pointless.
Do the Justice League pay rent on their base? Does Batman have to pay rent for the Bat Cave? Who do the Avengers pay too?

No one. Its a pointless mechanic let over from Jackanism, one we have absolutely no use for anymore.

Bane Spider Scouts use placate. Thats a whole different ballpark from taunt. And it doesnt usually last long, as they tend to smack you with a Critical Hit a few seconds after.

Succubi, on the other hand, are the ONLY enemy in game I know that has a similar effect to a taunt, in this case confuse. Even then, its hardly similar. But it IS interesting, whne suddenly you need to keep an eye on what your targetting. It doesnt last stupidly long (Unlike YOU, Night Widow Smoke Grenades!! ) so all it does is spice up a fight.

Colour me interested.

Then I got City of Villains. And all of a sudden it was @Techbot ALPHA
Still, it turned out for the best :P

While BBQs answer actually makes sense now I think about it, 'Strewth', to the best of my own (meagre) knowledge of it is a general exclamation used in the land of Oz (Australia).

In the same vein, people use;
"Jesus"
"Christ"
"Damn"
"Hells"
"Crimeny"

Etc. Just one word exclamations, usually to exclaim surprise, shock or, in this case, imminent facepalming
