  2. Get FF gen, it's great def and mez resistance! (Stacks with bot bubbles)

    And acid mortar is a damage must too, lowers enemy damage resistance! VERY handy. Plus people often use it to 'tank'.

    0.03 extra end per second is pretty much nothing. That's the equivilant of an end red in something as tiny in end cost as CJ. It's MUCH more efficient putting an end red in an attack. (Attacks get more benefit from end reds than toggles, too.)

    Oh, just realised, you mean sonic secondary? Never seen it abbreviated like that, SR always refers to Super reflexes, Sonic Resonance always gets shortened to sonic, FYI

  8. Acrobatics? No. Just no. It's mag protection for holds is tiny, and you can't be kbed through unyielding. Well, technically you can, but it never really happens.

    Rage is a bit silly if you're all-defence though, As you're not doing damage with much else. On more offensive builds it rocks though.

    Might I suggest trading out RPD and rage for Aid self? It will add HUGELY to your migitation, RPD is S/L which you have enough res to already tbh, Aid self can help against all, especially with your huge defence that will let you get it off without interruption. This is because you have quite low resistances to elements/energies (comparatively), even with UY and possibly the passives, so you're more defence reliant, so a couple lucky hits can be noticed. Aid self can just heal anything up straight away.

    Ignore this tidbit... Howling Twighlight is AWESOME. You can use it to turn a huge spawn to mushiness, especially on teams, and on tar patch. It's another control method to add to the pile

    Though I'd prefer it on defenders for SB at level 12... but sure!
  15. About SBing mid fight... this is because alot of tanks want to become MORE self reliant if anything... for example I can aid self alot more often, or Dull pain, whatever with SB up.

    Just wondering if energy transfer makes aid self pretty much required. I'm planning out an inv/em and the taking damage to use it thing without a reliable heal scares me. Dull pain cycles slooooow and I have a tendency to use HP boosters to boost my max HP rather than heal myself.

    Aid self is not needed on any tank. Just pop a Heal Insp when you feel you need some extra health and dull pain isn't up.
    Also, the actual amount of health drained by ET isn't that big.

    Yes, and people can pop purples, oranges and BFs instead of armours. And use reds instead or damage SOs. And blues instead of stamina.

    Did I say only having resistance is my goal? Is that like how an ice tanker tries to pick only ice enemy groups? Oh, wait...

    It's just fun to have a nice big bonus to something.

    At most of the time, I don't need to hit dull pain that often, and this is before most of my defensive powers. Aid self next, then tough hide, then soon tough+weave. I think it WILL get better

    Secondary effects? What can you do except dodge them with defence? And travel power-wise, I'm having flight for Air Sup until I get to ET at least, then I'm speccing into CJ to get that little bit of def.

    Um, inv with 10 enemies 3 slotted, tough hide, weave and CJ gives something into the 40s, WITH unyielding. Aid Self I think will just help me alot more than res elements and energies.
    I said "Def based" because it is based on that, WITH a nice bit of res to go with it. Plus, I like the shineyness and S/L res of Invuln, It's just so fun not being hurt by smashing and lethal stuff.
    May juggle the last few slots, but these are things I would find up survivability more than the passives.

    Yeah, but what you said about it being mainly res based is false, to anything but S/L you can get more def than res. It's more a combo.
