Both Mids offline planner and SuckerPunch's online planner are up to date for I16.
You're posting in the wrong forum, btw. -
I have no idea how to find it out, but if you can figure out the account ID for the "broken" account (it may be a seven digit number, this URL for all of my accounts ends with seven digit numbers), append it to the end of this URL:
https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/ch...me_account_id=
which should bring you to the special offer page. -
I got a negative rep for this post saying "Check your link the one labeled announcements is for today Fri the 18th"
The link labeled announcements goes to this link:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/forumdisplay.php?f=565
That's the URL to the announcements forum, not the URL to the Friday announcement, which is:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=191792
Just because Friday's announcement is listed first doesn't mean I am linking to Friday's announcement. Reading comprehension for the win.
EDIT: lol, and I got a negative rep for this post ("Not nice"), even though I'm pointing out the person didn't know what they're talking about... remind me again why rep is enabled on this forum, after they specifically got rid of it on the last forum? Ridiculous, unnecessary forum griefing game... -

I love it when people think that I am taking personal insult when I don't say that I am. The internet doesn't convey emotion. Take my posts as having no emotion, and you've come pretty close to how I always post, unless I'm putting a bunch of punctuation in.

Quote:Turn off chat (by default, it's the "C" button) while in a PVP zone. Continue on your merry, player-mauling way.Can someone maybe suggest areas where the trolls don't usually hang out?
Just realize that people are stupid, in general. When they're getting beat at something, they magically become even more stupid. And a very large number of them have not matured yet, and so you get to add wacky entitlements and weird views of the world to the stupidity. Basically, it's a recipe for disaster if you pay any attention to most of the chat happening in a PVP zone. -
Quote:Specifically, the one labeled "NA & EU Live Server downtime Thursday, September 17th"?Quote:I appreciate the heads up, I saw the link you labeled announcements but the date is wrong so I didn't think it was for yesterday. Note: it's for today so get ready for another one.
The one I linked to is Thursday, September 17th. That was yesterday. Mm hmm.
There's another one today. That link is Live Server Downtime - Friday, September 18th, 2009. -
Quote:I am incredibly original. I'm not just tooting my own horn here.Yes, it would be horrible and force people to be even MORE original.
I get chills just thinking about it.
I have over 100 characters. (Most of them I don't play very often. I enjoy playing them all.) The only character I have that has a workaround (he has a dash at the end of his name), I made about a month after I started playing and didn't care, cos I thought I was going to delete him. I haven't gotten petty cash to pay for a rename yet, so he stays with the frivolous dash.
Not to mention, I have Aggelakis on every North American server, with different power sets for each one for testing and messing around. Under the unique-name theory, I wouldn't be able to do that.
However, making names unique across all the servers combined is a ridiculous and STUPID idea. There's approximately 120,000+ subscriptions (using the smallest number), and the average number of characters on a subscription (the last time it was released) was somewhere around 12. (I think 12; might have been 10 or 14.) 120,000 x 10 (using the smaller number just for ease of example) is 1,200,000 names that HAVE TO BE UNIQUE. Instead of being able to divide that by fifteen servers (seventeen if you count the two test servers).
Yeah. Great idea. *drips with sarcasm* -
Quote:Hey Lemur Lad, why don't you use the quote button? When you just copy/paste and create your own quote in the QR box, it doesn't create an "Originally Posted by X" with a link to the post at the top. You were one of the proponents of specifying QR due to the RE: box in the old forums, why take this up?Because when they do announce Patch Notes, standard procedure is to do so after the server is successfully launched and running without issues from the patch. It avoids potential post, remove, repost issues most of the time.
(Not meant to be hostile, just an honestly curious question.) -
That shorts issue has been around for a long, long, LONG time. I remember it from years ago. That's why I basically never use shorts unless they're the first one, or the poofy ones for theme effect.
-
Babs posted recently that it's a known issue (and I think fixed in an upcoming build? Can't remember, he posted a lot yesterday)
-
Babs is working on (or has found? I forget) a way around the DA fluffball.
-
I would totally dig on having longjohns and towel-capes. That would be hysterical.

Quote:You could perhaps take a look at the announcements? So does anyone know what the extended "emergency maintenance" in the middle of the day was about earlier today?
Specifically, the one labeled "NA & EU Live Server downtime Thursday, September 17th"?
The FIRST place you should look is announcements for anything, then look in the announcements discussion forum (three down from the announcements forum). If it's not there, THEN you can come asking in PQ. -
That would really, really suck if character names were unique across the whole game. REALLY suck.
-
I was just in the game with no issues (was logged in when I saw the post...quit, restarted updater, logged in fine), my patcher number is 1600.20090902.4T2 though...methinks somehow you got a broken something or other going on. @_@

Quote:Not that I know of. It's not documented on Paragon Wiki's H.Maylor page, nor its talk page. I haven't heard of it prior to your statement. That particular mission as I hear it is on a timer now.
Enjoy!
Are you perhaps mistaking this for the Dreck Freakshow mission? That was put on a timer. -
Quote:I have never heard of this. I've been playing TFs and Trials basically since I started in winter 2005.Actually, there was a time where difficulty was NOT spawned based on the TF leader, it was spawned based on whoever set the level of the TF for level-variable ones like the Respec trials. If you have a leader who's level 28, but have another character level 31, then the enemies in the TF would be 31 and up, and the enemy numbers and level plus that would be determined by the 31's difficulty settings. He who sets the level sets the difficulty, essentially.
I'm told this is no longer the case but I haven't had enough experience with it recently to know for sure.
I do know that scaleable trials (not all trials scale) prior to I16 would scale to the highest level member, plus the star-holder's notoriety. So your example would have the enemies at level 31, plus the level 28's difficulty.
If I gauge it correctly, I16 just uses the star-holder's notoriety, SK/EXing everyone to +1/-1 of them. -
What's your shadow/shader quality set on? Water reflections? (trying to remember anything else tied to the shinies)
Actually. How about just slapping us with a CoHHelper log? -
Might I suggest not linking to wikia? It's out of date, updated randomly by people who don't really know what they're doing, and it's not Paragon Wiki, the most complete wiki for City. Paragon Wiki is located on the Titan Network, available either at
http://www.paragonwiki.com
or
http://wiki.cohtitan.com -
Bug reports are not supposed to generate a reply email or a listing in the knowledge base space. Sometimes it does, and I have no idea why. Bug reports don't require replies because they are supposed to be sent along different means automatically to a different set of GMs.
