Hats off champion. Lots of good PvP this day. Several KB matches mid day with 2 full teams for at least 2 rounds. I left after the 3rd. but i hope it continued.

and an impressive RV display at late night. more than a full team for each side at one point or another. lots of kills for both sides, no trash talk, no griefing, no excessive complaining. perfect (by "no" i mean within reasonable limits ;p )

shout outs to Tungsten, mebs, MAH, G, UC, 4shes, enigma, spyne, cyborg, mega and more that i'm failing to remember the names of.

I don't understand why accuracy wasn't looked at when they did the power balancing in the first place. or at least is seems it wasn't. seems all then did was alter damage based on animation time... and didn't consider the affect accuracy has...

I don't know if they can change base accuracy of a power in PvP and leave it alone in PvE. but making some kind of acc:damage ratio to balance powers out a bit more seems like it may help defensive toons from getting constantly 2-3 shotted, but still allowing people to more consistently hit them. and not changing the results much against resistance based toons at all.

In my thinking Harder hit means less accuracy weaker hit means higher acc than normal. it makes sense sacrifice precision for power. obvious exceptions like AS or snipe where Precision = Power

Over all that would make it to where Defensive toons can Dodge/deflect big slow attacks more easily. but more difficult for them to take on the quicker lighter attacks. I'd rather be slowly flared to death over a period of time than 2 shotted with TF and Blaze... After all most people use aim or bu or what ever before their big attack. So I don't really see the need for them to have any inherent bonuses or even average level of accuracy.

But like I said not sure if acc can be changed... Would have thought they'd of done that already if it was possible. or they can and just don't want to. Makes sense to me though.

The Hunt went well. Took down 2 Kronos. had 3 but one either despawned or droned its self.
then went on to take out Jack, eochai, Lusca, Jurassik, Adamastor, Paladin, Babbage, and a few DE monsters to top it off. basically the only one that escaped was kracken.

I want to thank all the hammers that helped out and I hope all that showed up had a good time

on a side note. the Raid is going to be postponed for a later date when more hammers will be able to attend. just an odd weekend where every one ended up busy.

The monster hunt is gonna be at 3 pm central btw and starts in founders. sorry about the time not being posted.

Storm and therm would be a nice combo as well.

I have a fire/storm troller that does fairly well in RV.

But strangest build? well a bud of mine has a Dark/elec defender that works as a sapper.

well. got to say your first build was better I think. it really just needed some fine tuning. this one needs more work I think.

I have to say I didn't like the idea of a Staminaless build but it does work pretty well in arena. and if you can get used to it it works fine in zone.

If you really wanted to zone with stam. I'd say it would be better to drop the stealth pool over leadership. that +perc helps keep your toggles on longer if something tries to run. You can always pick up a temp phase some where...

Its not so bad in arena either assuming your emp is pretty decent. if you have one on your team anyway.

Yes. was going to mention that actually. Temp invul will give about as much resist as you can have with the global pvp buffs. + or - 5% FoN will get you about the same... but only for 2 mins and has a horrible end crash...

Consider slotting a full steadfast in there as well. you'll get more HP and just slightly less recovery
if you do that just adjust your titanium's so you get full benefit of the resists at minimal end usage.

er... just move one out from Acrro to SS... and put another zephyr in there

hell do that then just slot acro for end reduction...

As much as I want to I'm just not going to have time for the league for the next month or 2, I just have to many things going on atm and this is detracting from them. Just going to stick to more casual and occasional PvP with my home server friends. I had a lot of fun though and learned a lot. Enjoy the rest of the season and break some legs guys.

Well, I team with the same 6-10 people on a weekly basis. and have maybe another 25-30 different people that will group on regular occasions. throw in a few pugs here and there and yeah... the server doesn't feel to empty to me. I'll agree Traffic on the server is definitely down from what it was even a year ago, but not dead... Look at BMT every now and then and you can find people starting TFs or whatever at least every few hours. if not every 10 mins...

I'm not sure what your expectations were, but I agree with 4shes and UC. theres been more PvP action in the last 3-4 weeks than in the last six months. so something is working. and yeah... I think it may be the same 16-20 people over and over... but its a start. Least every one is making an effort to show up and have some fun

having a really hard time with stealthed characters when playing with my rad/psi defender.
seems the +perception IO doesnt work as well as it used to. things go invisible at fairly close range. (still radded... ) not sure whats going on...???
