based on castles post in this thread i would say that both are true. em is overpowered and the others are underpowered. there seems to be maybe a middle ground.
the change to toggle dropping may be the fix.
i am speaking strictly from a PvP perspective. -

Given the fact that all the EM attacks suck except the last 2 what do you expect? I have played as an Inv/EM tanker and it was a hard road. Can you imagine only being able to tickle your enemies to death for 35 levels? The only way they could nerf EM they would have to totally redo the set, and move the powers around because the attacks are pretty weak as they are until ET and TF.

As long as they allow Brawl to do it, I'm fine with that. It gives more of a strategic purpose to, as of when to use your actual moves and brawl.

I whole-heartedly agree with you there. If a player really needs to resort to dropping someone toggles to beat them, it's an acceptable risk to use Brawl. My beef with toggle dropping stems from the hipocracy of game balancing that has been done. If you read any of the PvP General threads, you'll most likely find someone complaining about getting killed by so-and-so and there was nothing they could do about it. The response is always "Get on a team, PvP isn't balanced for 1-on-1 encounters". But then on the flip-side, everyone seems to think that any AT or build should be able to solo a tanker, the supposed toughest AT in the game. If you can defeat a Tanker as easily as a Scrapper or a Kheldian, then who would want to play a Tanker in PvP?

I agree wholeheartedly with having some actual 'in-game' content that gives clues and points people toward things like the unlockable contacts. It's one of the main problems (IMO, of course) with MMOs today that there's just not enough game 'in-game.' And usually performing web searches and printing out lists of coordinates and a checklist of required elements . . . well, that's just about as dry as it sounds. It's not putting the 'game' in the game at all.
Such things really do much less than they potentially could for actual enjoyment, due to the process I just described above. It's not playing, it's googling for information and that's just not a good game, IMO. Please put the 'game' back in the game where it belongs with 'in-game' clues and mysteries to unravel instead of web searches.

why not? the devs already make you pay taxes in prestige. i cant wait for them to institute a progressive net worth tax to get rid of all the influence around. -
i would also add that wasting time buying and slotting TO's is a waste of time. they do not benefit you that much. if you dont have a higher lvl toon to get influence from, just sell the TO's and keep going.

i started an all defender team on guardian last night. im not sure if its a "superteam" in this day and era but we are giving it a shot.
we have the followiing:
rad/rad
dark/dark
kin/psi
sonic/electric
we are only lvl 5 now. send me a tell @wisdom in game if you are interested in teaming with us. another rad/rad would be cool. -
darn. it starts today? i blew through all my brownie points with my wife last night (was on the computer when she walked in the door, i was just gonna lvl and log really quick, i promise).
looks like i will just have to go in debt. -

Dont play the set myself but from what I can tell they are in more demand now than ever, in some casses teams usually dont do to well without them. So where is it exactley they need attention? maybe Storm? or Archery?

We've got issues abound. Chances are you really wouldn't notice them unless you played a defender. Yeah, the entire TA set is an issue.

Some people just don't realize that defenders are not happy that more and more people are saying "We need a healer."
Just because "Healers" are wanted in teams does not mean that defenders don't have issues. Hobo, please do not remind me about how pitifull my damage is in PvP.

It's not just pvp, ED evicerated my damaeg in PvE as well. I did the first FBZ taskforce just recently, inf act we started it a week before ED came in and finished a week after ED was live, and I was flat out stunned how badly my damage was hit. I REALLY did not think it would have had such a large impact on me or defenders in general but now litterally I offer no damage worth mentioning to my team in PvP OR PvE. Which is even more infuriating when a controller can put out such a steady stream of relatively good damage.

my first or second bank/robbery mission was cool and an interesting twist. my stalker is level 26 now and they are just getting old. i wish the devs would just stop requiring villains to do them over and over again and again.

i do not know what is worse. someone who has reached 40 already complaining about no end game content (not that anyone has but give it a few weeks) or someone with 12 alts complaining about low end content.

im just curious if anyone has noticed this. i am not a number cruncher but i just feel likes it happening.
i have been running with a mind dominator the past few nights. i read somwhere that a stalker has a 20% chance to crit a slept opponent. that seems ok.
but, i feel that when a mob is slept i tend to miss them alot more than when they are awake and pounding me.
any other stalkers out there experience this? -
i think the burn changes are in line with the other tanker nerfs in I5.
