same here laggy alot of the time, animations bugged, enemies flying up in air dead after being defeated(on cave map) non toggling powers showing a toggled animation. net graph has redspikes with some areas of smooth gameplay. game crashes to crash report message and i send in the reports.

this also happens to me when i enter a mission with alot of npc's in combination with ambushes. usually in poorly created architect maps where there are so many npc's you can't even see them all.

Actually all they had to do was disable the use of a wakie in the pvp zones and put the rep timer for arena only.(but fix it so there is still a chance once the blows start flying to get one.)


the problem was people standing in bloddy bay with the store window open getting killed really really fast non stop for hours that needed to be stopped. not allowing wakies to be used would have stopped that.

My game has started using much more memory. i used to never get close to a gig of used memory unless i was dual boxing. I tend to crash upon entering a map when a large group of npc's fire off their alpha shot. i get the dreaded sound loop of doom and the crash report wondow comes up shortly after that. been this way since about a week before dblxp weekend and still happens today.

Yes it would be for pvp most definately. I only pve to make new pvp toons. Thanks for the suggestions. I am still looking for the Katana must haves and skippables for the set.


so plus recharge I assume is for the heals to come up as quickly as possible.

OK I recently leveled up a katana/regen and I currently have zero experience with katana or regen either one. Can some one post me a build suggestion such as what to build for and what powers to skip and what are must have? this toon was the product of a leveling pact so any help would be appreciative.

Entire builds are not necessary but are welcome for examples. yes I do have mids. also cost is no barrier minus pvp'os i cant afford a bil per enhancement lol

Congratulations on farming past all the people who reached those levels a year ago(or two). Although I will concede that the now #2 group are still in the fight. But with that said pinnacle is lol as far as that sort of race. I mean my sg has 3 members in it and we are in the top 15 on hero side(actually I haven't checked in a while we may be top 25 or 30 now.)


P.S. Pie-ro was right. Get back in rv and don't leave the first time you get caught without your t-9 up.

still no drop by me or my team of 4 who play together nightly. did hear a villain claim one after he killed one of us. i guess yay! for him

an empath is still really good to heal with but it does nothing a therm cannot do and the therm has good debuffs that really help a battle. the emp can hit powerboost and take a blaster from 1 hit point to almost full health with absorb pain. the therm version of that power does the same thing. so for healing others the best heal to get is the one with big green numbers. the auras are for yourself and they will get you killed quick.

another night another 30 rep no drops. 3 hours of back and forth zone action roughly 5 on 5 most of the night.no one said they got a drop in broadcast.

update my rep counter on 4 different toons has reached 115 roughly on each playing for 2 to 3 hours full blown pvp not farming in rv. not a single drop yet. and no one on any team i have been on has received one. got o have a horseshoe up ur hole sideways to get one i guess.

The sad part is they could have just disabled wakies in a pvp zone and added the rep rulesfor the arena onlyand made it so obtaining a kill only starts the timer for the person who got the kill.

if they can make the arena use a rep timer without awarding rep then they can make the rep timer only apply to the person getting the rep.

try making sure you are running vent and cox as admin. if that is already the case then let me know so i can start scratching my ead.

they will fix it like they fixed pvp recipee drops. everyone will get tickets like normal on freedom but on smaller servers you only get a 5 chance at a chance for a ticket.

I have pvp'd in rv pinnacle every night since they "fixed" it.

I have not gotten a drop yet and i have accumulated200 rep across 4 different toons. Now I pvp in zone fo about 2 to 3 hours per night but our zone pop restricts our chances aot as we are usually only having 4 on 4's or the occasional slugfest wher we have 15 or 20 in the zone at once.

or if some one else maybe could verify from their own personal experience because a person's friend could have been lying? I mean while the devs had pvp recipees disabled alltogether i was seeing people in a pvp zone claiming to have gotten a drop when there was no possible way they could have.

This does sound alot better than a pain mastermind for sure. heals are fie and dandy but not needing them is much better. and to me therm is much better than bubbles. or maybe bubbles are played out and the therm just sounds exciting.

pvp's last night with new patch for 3 hours straight was a 4 on 6 us on the team of 4. got a total of 14 rep out of 3 hours of steady back and forth. No one on our team got a drop at all.

Unless I am mistaken with each rep kill all 4 of us on the team get a chance, for a chance to get a drop.

As in team mate "A" kills enemy "B" to trigger rep. this kill allows each of us on a team to get a chance for a dop. butr since we are on a team that chance is diluted between us all.

This was done by several, when it first hit test. to have it pushed through without so much of an explanation tells me they are either blind and cannot read brail, or do not care about pvp on any server except freedom. and these things were also said in a thread where babs was first learning about the stf bug.

switching to freedom should not be the solution to a problem such as this. I have a level 50 pvp toon on freedom. freedom lags too bad for me to enjoy the game play. All I want is a fair chance to get the same thing people on freedom receive. screw anybody who says i need to move to freedom to get it .

Ok lets do a little math, Currently I have 2 accounts. On account #1 I have 19 character slots on pinnacle(bought 5 and vet rewards claimed on pinnacle) of those 19 i have 12 that are level 50 fully slotted with i/o's that's 120$ so far.
On account #2 i only have 14 slots and only 8 of those are level 50 and slotted out. so theres another 80$. Now to move these characters i would on my main account have to buy extra slots to fit them not to mention leave behind a fully built sg base with 60 million prestige built up. All because the devs made a bonehead,stupid, idiotic, hamfisted decision to stop people from farming recipees. (Some of you may think that is too harsh. I don't think so. THEY NEED TO FIX this in a way that doesn't hurt the smaller servers.

for one the cost of transferring to a new server is way too high.

I also would like to log in on double xp weekend and freedom lags for me terribly. and since none of the people i prefer to play with want to go to freedom that is off the table.

And since you obviouosly have no idea about the technical limitations of this problem how about you keep your suggestions about where i decide to play to yourself.

the facts are plain, the changes made to prevent farming the recipees make it almost impossible to get them for even a hardcore pvp'r and completely impossible for the casual pvp's on low pop servers.
