All I know is that I mostly pvp. I only pve to make toons to pvp with. after hours upon hours of pvp since they came out I have only gotten 2 of them and none since they made them based on rep. me and 5 to 6 guys in my sg pvp almost nightly picking up loners occasionally to fill the team. in my group we have received a total of 4 pvp recipees since they nerfed the drops. The pvp recipees just seem to be really really hard to get and I feel as though it needs to be looked at.

Since server transfers have been free i have gotten 4 toons to around 200 rep on freedom. not one single pvp recipee drop for me or any of the people i play with nightly. the drop rates are very very low for that to be random.

What sonic does probably better than any other set with cold/ a very close second is to make all the new elec/shield scrapper and tanks completely invunerable to normal game play. and allows a shield tank to effectively tank on task forces because it rounds out their holes completely. If i had to build a team and had 2 spots for defenders I would beg for a cold/ and a sonic/ especially if they both have leadership then even the blasters can tank

Last time I checked the Numina/Regen Tissue/Miracle procs also obeyed Combat Modifiers ("level difference scaling", "purple patch") though, so when slotted in these powers they give a lower effective Regen/Recovery buff when used against higher level foes (and a higher effective buff when used against lower level foes, but I generally find myself fighting higher level foes more often than lower level foes).
This generally makes it less than ideal to slot these procs into powers that affect foes.
edit: Oops, forgot to mention Drain Psyche.
I could see it usefull in pvp if you can find that level 1 guy in the train when you visit rv lol. pull your drain on him and then go fight -

and yes i know about weave i have a defense i/o in my build that pushes everything over soft cap just didn't change it on mids.(it currently shows the red fortune endurance red i/o i put a generic 50 defense i/o might put a hami in it but i have no end problems whatsoever. so much so the fire epic could be placed in if you can stand not slotting fireball -

I would have to agree. If you order any other kind of product and some other company was hindering the deleviry of said product there would be lawsuits at the very least. How long do you think amazon.com would allow fedex to intefere with their ups shipments before they launched a huge investigation while reassuring their loyal customers they were not gonna stop untill they got their product as ordered? -

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to ignore a certain individual who insists on spamming the comic and hero/villain culture channel because he claims to use it as therapy to take his mind off a bum leg.
I seriously cannot find an ignore option and it is driving me crazy trying to sort through his 150 posts per day he copies and pastes off the net. -

currently when i use pingplotter to ping the server addresses they sent me in the support email and it still never makes the round trip. it always hit 100% packet loss at hop 7 the pccwbtn.net hop. yet i ping the pccwbnt.net and it completes the cycle at or around 21ms consistently. to me that says it is somewhere inbetween them and the coh servers but i am not even close th being qualified to verify my suspicions.

got a reply from customer nosupport telling me they are looking into it. cant type what they said because of forum rules but the basic message was they are aware but no eta on solution

I really really hope when we can actually get back online with 16 live the red spikes are gone. and once again no further updatesfrom support nor a redname post even admitting the problem is a problem.

actually you still had it on you untill you logged off or zoned. you would arrive at the hospital with the debuff on you. and it would stack from diff casters.

i did a google search on the pccwbtn.net and found some interesting results. evidently aion is having major problems as well but it seems their support team is actually acknowledging the problems or so it seems by looking at posts made about it in various gaming forums on this very same issue. And yet all i can get support here to do is assigne me a never ending list of pingplotter homework. and so far my pingpotter has yet to complete the connection past the pccwbtn.net hop. this is hop #7 for me

I still think they should have made an official announcement about this problem and made good on people like me who have had this problem since 2 weeks before the last double xp weekend. Instead we got told it was out router or isp. That was a long time we were denied a viable playing experience due to issues not in our control.
And while my netgraph is alot better i still have the unexpected redspikes that cause severe warping though the disconnects seem to have subsided. -
i jumped through 3 sets of emails from customer support (one of which they even got my name wrong) and they had the nerve to ask me to run another set of ping plotter when they know damn well where or what the problem is.(if they don't then they don't deserve our money anyway)
I want it fixed they need it fixed, as this is huge and rt now i dont have time to be their troubleshooting guru. -
At the very least they should offer us free temporary server transfers of toons we need untill the issue is resolved.
And once the issue is resolved a free transfer back to our favorite servers.
also credit for unplayable time would be nice on our accounts.
While it may not be their equipment that is the cause of the problem but it is their responsibility to ensure the best possible playing environment for their paying customers and they should be making this a very very high priority up to and including paying for the research and repairs themselves.
In my opinion all effected players should be credited for half the time since the problem cropped up. (most people starting noticing very bad latency at or around the double xp weekend) -

Yeah i realize that but the end result is they cannot fix it. That's just the reason they cannot fix it.
All i know is that tonight in recluses victory our tank teleported a villain and we all thought it missed a good 90 secs later as we were chasing that person all of a sudden the tp went through and he got away because we all chased. had netgraph running and it was a large block of red and yellow about that time.
They need to offer to pay for the upgrades and research on the other companies to get it fixed as I won't continue paying for a product like this. -
if you are playing on an east coast server then see the thread below in this forum about lag on east coast servers. unfortunately it is a bug they know about and say they cannot fix.

I would hope this issue is resolved(meaning the east coast netgraph x-mas designs) before issue 16 release. not to mention the promised dblxp weekend to follow.

Our run last night was aggravating to say the least. we resorted to running to oro to pack reds to help spike the towers. towers took so long we racked up alot of merits having to rekill the flier.

a free month to those of us heavily effected might be a bit much but it would make me feel alot better about having a brand new pc crash 4 times during an itf. as it currently stands the only thing I can reliably do on an east coast server is work the market and team with a max of 2 or three people on the team.
Ran a stf last night and several of us including our tank would crash at the worst possible time. losing your tank when he is flippin off recluse so we can take the towers down is annoying to say the least. While we were able to finish it it took way longer than we normally run it. even accounting for the bugged repairmen -
Those repairmen irk me to no end. Our stf last night took forever because we didnt have a way to stop them from getting their initial heals off. bonfire alone wasn't enough, we had to put some one on duty watching for them. That and the damn flier was respawning like some one gave it speed boost.
Gratz on the master run. I vowed to never do another one once my fire/rad got that badge. -
so has anybody received any updates from support on this issue? and is it still persisting to be a problem?
I haven't been able to log in to check as my video card fried and my new pc is due tom sometime while my old pc is on the way back to manufacturer.
