The Wiki page for the Sr.PsyTF has suggestions to speed it up:
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Sister_Psyche_Task_Force
I used to speed run it regularly for the sweet 50 Merits. -
Quote:The Powers team responded that their datamining indicates that's not the case. Were you playing a Mastermind, Controller, or Dominator? Did your pets do a lot of the fighting for you?
The events don't count the participation of your pets because someone at Paragon Studios decided powersets that rely on pets don't count.
But, I'm doubtful. I wish they would 'Real Numbers' this and tell us how the reward system is supposed to work so that it can be tested. -
Quote:Unlikely to happen. And this once again shows how little villains have compared to heroes..once we done all ours..what it stops or recycles? i dont mind recycling..but villains need more sf's come on devs.
Heroes outnumber Villains 3 to 1. We joke that "the Devs hate Villains"; but do you know who else hates Villains? The players.
It was in the cards long ago that developing Villain-only content was not efficient use of Dev time. The only new Villain-only content that has been taking place and will take place in the future is maybe a single arc (e.g. Vincent Ross) or content that can be re-purposed to have a hero-analogue (like the two Reichsmans [Kahn and Barracuda]).
Now, with side-switching from Going Rogue, Villains-become-Rogues have access to almost all the Hero-side content, including even starting Task Forces.
So.... unlikely to happen. -

Quote:Sure that works if you're on a team that can shrug off that agro. I've had a few teams with newish players who had squishies that were constantly dieing.Except no one says that taking out the pylons means taking out the Rikti. Most of the runs I did this week, we took out the pylons first and ignored the Rikti so we could drag them into the goo.
That tactic also means that you get some Rikti groups going into the goo as they chase you around and drawing Mito agro and dieing on you so that they're not around for agro absorption when you need them. It also agros all of them such that you have no backups for when the first wave of Rikti die.
Just tonight I did one with three blasters who were joking how they'd be constantly face-planted during the Hami mission. I led the Rikti into the goo, holding back on one group as we safely took out the Yellows and Blues. Then, I led the last group in while we worked on the Greens. Not one Blaster bought it. -
You probably have to beat a time goal, too. The one time I soloed and didn't get the top tier reward was when I got defeated once.
-
Quote:I've seen Rikti take out one or two Mitos, but their biggest benefit is absorbing Mito attacks.I've run the LGTF probably 50-100 times. Until this weekend I'd never heard of doing the Mito's first, which we did. Both ways seem pretty much the same to me. Some people seemed to think all the rikti were helping a lot on hami, but I didn't notice any difference.
-
Quote:Doesn't work like that. But then the Rikti aggro's the Hami, and it starts shooting at everyone. I'd rather not have the Hami start shooting until I'm ready to deal with it.
Hami doesn't start indiscriminately shooting *everyone* when agroed by the Rikti.
Of course, you don't want to be next to the Rikti getting shot by an AoE blast.
I've done this 15 times this week... stupid badge.
But when players don't have the Rikti 'support' they die a lot from Mito agro. When they dive in after the Rikti have Mito agro, they can quickly polish off the Mitos with no deaths.
Also, I keep one group of Rikti to the side until we start on Greens, then bring them into Hami. They absorb a lot of the Green attacks and take Hami agro. -
Quote:I didn't say to use them as debuff toggles. Darks and Kins have other 'enemy anchor' powers such as heals and rezzes and damage buffs.Last run I was on the tank-y types pulled the Rikti in while the squishier among us killed pylons. I also wouldn't call the pylons effective anchors, they're too far out to be useful for debuff toggles.
And while the Rikti were in the goo aggroing all the Mitos... that would have been the perfect time for the team to take out the Mitos rather than the pylons... they're not going anywhere.
I swear, it seems this is mostly a case of spawn-lock: "I can't just leave something standing and move on to a higher priority (and softened) target... I *must* clear as I go!!!!" -
Quote:Lore-wise, yes. Mechanically, it does nothing... NOTHING!I thought that power was supposed to make the Honoree vulnerable, akin to the temp powers in the STF and LRSF?
Castle confirmed this.
I've been leading LGs this week working on the Assist badge and I immediately delete the power from my Powerlist window and we finish up Honoree right quick. -
Pylons can be taken down before or after Mitos for a successful raid. Pylons must be taken down at some point before Hami.
There is no strategic reason why they should come down before Mitos.
There are two strategic reasons why they should come down after Mitos:
1. Kin and Dark can use the pylons as anchors for their powers. You'll really appreciate a Dark who can teleport you to a pylon after accidental Hami agro and rez you there.
2. Taking out Mitos is *a lot* easier if you do so after dragging Rikti into the goo and have them take all the Mito agro. If you take out pylons first, you're going to lose that opportunity.
If the pylons' existence is found to be unacceptable by some members of the group, then while those with Holds take out the greens, those without holds can work on the Pylons. -
So.. I should hang out by the docks to pick up a few Fake Nemesis?
Should I wear anything special?

Quote:The time for recharge on my Hasten makes a dramatic jump when Spiritual is slotted or not.For the blaster, real numbers shows hasten's recharge, at level 50 with Hasten slotted with 3 level 50 Common Recharge IOs, as 3 minutes 35 seconds whether the Alpha is empty or slotted with Spiritual Boost.
For the Dom, real numbers shows hasten's recharge, at level 50 with Hasten slotted with 3 level 35 Common Recharge IOs, as 3 minutes 38 seconds whether the Alpha is empty or slotted with Spiritual Boost.
Look at a power that isn't slotted for recharge but can be, it should say 33% recharge. If it doesn't, that means Alpha isn't working for you at all.
Are you currently exemplared at 44 or lower?
Try zoning or relogging. -
Quote:Yep, that's where it shows up in 'real numbers', not the Combat Attributes screen.Domination isn't affected by the Alpha Slot because it can't be enhanced. Hasten should be though. Go onto your enhancement screen and look at the real numbers for Hasten before and after equipping your Alpha Slot. it may only be a difference of a couple seconds with the Common boost, but it should be different.
Look at a power that can take recharge but currently doesn't have any recharge slotted: it will say there's 33% recharge in that power... that's from the Alpha Slot. Unfortunately, the amount that the Alpha Slot is giving to that power isn't broken out into a separate number like the IO Set Bonuses are in the Combat Attribute window.
If you have an Alpha Recharge universal enhancement, it only effect powers that can take a Recharge Enhancement. -
Quote:I've been advocating this for a while now. Just turn the mission with the kill one out of five EBs into kill all 5 AVs.http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Viridian
It truly is a fun arc, but it is hard to find 7 other people willing to play it at +4 or even +1 since it does not give SF-quality rewards. I suggest that to broaden the appeal and expose more people to this wonderful Villain content that his arc should be made into an SF with only the leader needing to meet the requirements. This way, more SFs can be used to give variety to the WSTs as well. -
Quote:A: the incarnate system was not designed to grant soft-cap.
B: the average to-hit granted to NPC characters in Incarnate content has been raised so that you can't realistically soft-cap.
C: The days of passive soft cap are over. [Redacted for snark.]E. 3% global defense can be worth 3 billion inf to some.Quote:D: For some characters, 4% may mean the difference between soft-capped and not.
F. If the extra defense isn't worth it to you, pull out a Defense Enhancement from every slot and add in two IO Sets elsewhere. -
Quote:Mmmm... I'm hungry for a slice of pumpkin pyre. The romans got off easily compared to what the devs did to Celtic mythology back in i5.
"Hey, we'll make the Tuatha de Danaan green moss-moose monsters and the Fir Bolg fire breathing Pumpkin trees"
You mean... the entirety of 'the competition'?Quote:I just have one thing to say: I am getting REALLY sick and tired of heroes and villains banding together to fight off a greater threat. Ponder that for a minute.

Ah, anime... where the backgrounds are more animated than the characters.
-

All that on top of how unbelievable the disguise is anyway.

I would imagine the buying is gated as well as the earning because it's possible that sometime in the future the might be other ways to earn A-Merits.
And if you stockpile... then spend them on Purples or PvP IOs. That will get rid of the stockpile quite quickly. -
Quote:I'm a bit out of the Marvel universes, but Jean Grey... Dead? Alive? Somehwere in between?
Because when someone needs to die in an event, it's a free ticket to kill off the one called Phoenix. She always comes back, it's her thing. Usually on fire.
Ascended. And returning eventually. You know... phoenixy stuff.
