Temporary power from weakened Hamidon?

Hi everyone,

over the last days we were running a couple of Lady Grey TFs. (I wonder why all players were asking for that - it's almost as if some transdimensional entity would notice you for running it... ).

Anyway, each time Hamidon is defeated the team leader gets a temporary power with a sparkling optical effect. But what does that power actually do? Its in-game text doesn't say. Is it just a story-wise thing, or does the team leader's character actually gain any benefits from having that temporary power?

It doesn't actually do anything.

I thought that power was supposed to make the Honoree vulnerable, akin to the temp powers in the STF and LRSF?

It makes you look awesome. I love [Hamidon Essence] It is a delightfully flamboyant aura. I would love to choose to have that as my aura on some toons.

Currently, it does nothing.
Once upon a time, it did actually make the Honoree vulnerable. However, there was one little problem: if the leader lost connection or quit the team, the rest of the team was hosed. So now it's just a visual effect.
