Even though that quote was a coverup of the real reason we weren't getting Clown Summoning: Positron is coulrophobic, or afraid of clowns.

The bolded. Aside from the people we know for certain are in college now (Angry_Citizen, myself), there are many others who are, and thus only play on weekends, or when they have time.

Quote:You need to be 37 to get the Mole Point Bravo arc.Has anyone actually gotten Naylor's Shadow Shard arc lately? I hit 35 2 days ago, got Naylor as a contact and ran his missions.. I got the Automatic Villany arc, several standalone mishes including the badge mish, but now at 36, he's got no missions for me. Was the Mole Point Bravo arc removed or something? I ask because my wife had the same thing happen when she was trying to get the Rularuu unlock from him... got all his mishes except that arc.

Quote:That was never true, and anyone who thinks it is is deluding themselves. In bullying, the names are the real cause of psychological harm.3) Kindly run this through your head: "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me". This should not have magically stopped being true when you entered adulthood.
Or do I need to link to all the stories where verbal (and only verbal) bullying lead to suicide? -
No, because the devs that decided Dark/Dark and Fire/Fire were meant to go together haven't worked here since the NC Soft acquisition.

There's a PB arc that shows some PBs that definitely went to the evil side of the spectrum.

Quote:Actually, WoW's maintenance is pretty much all day Tuesdays. It's at most two hours a day. Generally twice a week, but hardly ever more than three times. Quit complaining, it's not that bad.
I've heard EVE has maintenance every day.
I remember playing WoW, which had the same if not more maintenance.
It is a necessary evil. They need to apply patches to fix bugs. They need to clear the cache and whatever else they do during routine maintenance. If you don't have those times, the game never changes and then breaks entirely. -
Quote:Exactly, Ur is a word, but not ur. In the same way that Lincoln is a word, but not lincoln.Sorry to dispute your signature but it is incorrect. You are correct that "ur" is being used incorrectly, however it really is a word.
Ur was a city in ancient Sumer, located at the site of modern Tell el-Mukayyar in Iraq's Dhi Qar Governorate. Once a coastal city near the mouth of the then Euphrates river on the Persian Gulf, Ur is now well inland. Currently, Ur is south of the Euphrates on its right bank, 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from Nasiriyah, Iraq and close to the site of ancient Eridu.
The site is marked by the ruins of the Great Ziggurat of Ur, which contained the shrine of Nanna, excavated in the 1930s. The temple was built in the 21st century BC (short chronology), during the reign of Ur-Nammu and was reconstructed in the 6th century BC by Nabonidus. -

Wait. You get mad when you interrupt someone, and then they tell you they'll join you as soon as they finish what they were in the middle of? I found your problem with finding teams, and it's not other people.

Quote:Having run an LGTF with a non-soft-capped Claws/SR scrapper (I'm just kinda lazy about doing the respec on him >.>), and fought Rikti plenty a time on him, the mezzing Rikti don't actually hit that hard with their mezzes. They're more meant to render you immobile while that big Chief Soldier brings his giant sword of mess-you-up to bear, so just be careful with not forgetting about PB, and you're fine.Well I am disillusioned! That's it! I quit! Who wants my stuff?
Ah well...it was a nice thought this "stacking" thing I had going. Ignorance can be bliss.
Since this is my first try at it, I would have to be labeled as "below average"...so I'm sure not to notice!
...Though the LGTF suddenly sounds very scary after seeing that "Rikti missions" thing above. "Bring purples" I guess?
Carnies, on the other hand? *shudders* -
Learn to pronoun. We is the first-person plural pronoun, and does not mean "everyone". It simply means "other(s) and myself". "Most of us" was the defined grouping in that paragraph, and every usage of "we" referred back to that exact grouping. This is something that you learn in the most basic of courses for any language, the usage of pronouns.

Quote:Believer has been 2 sightings since Croatoa launched.EmperorSteele:[*] Increase Beleiver from 2 "sightings" to 3, to keep with the 333 defeats theme for all the other Croatoa monsters. (I think it's actually only 1 'sighting' currently)[*] Allow Sky Raider Porters and Rikti Headman Gunmen to count towards "tracer"; increase defeat count if necessary.[*] add a Master of LGTF badge
As for Tracer, only if Tsoo get another badge, and you also have to have Gunslingers on that list (they port, too). Like Tattooed for X Ink Men (Probably 200 due to being easy to find minions). -
Quote:Oh! You mean ElA! EA is *always* Energy Aura, and ElA is *always* Electric Armor.

I am intrigued by the OP's ideas and wish to subscribe to his/her newsletter.
(a.k.a. sounds like a great QoL, no objections) -
Quote:They already are.Quick suggestion. Instead of things like Blazing Aura being resticted to a single plane, how about being spherical showing their effect on even flying targets.
EA doesn't have a damage aura.... *boggles* -
Quote:Wait, it's a stupid move for them to put the rewards up by 18?Rewards
Fixed a bug that caused the Justin Augustine Taskforce to award 24 Reward Merits instead of 42 Reward Merits.
Stupid move, stupid move.
Or do you mean it was a stupid move of whomever keyed in the new value to accidentally switch the order fo the digits? -

Everyone missed the real answer here.
4x Emp/* in a Green Machine-inspired Layout.
You essentially have four SR, Regen BLASTERS. Throw in secondary sets to taste based on debuffing. (I'm a fan of /Ice, /Dark, /Sonic, /Rad. Gives you the whole set. Though /Rad can be skipped given you have a base hit chance of nearly 170%. Maybe go /AR for the AoE.) -
Quote:I think a warning near the server list about servers would be in order. For example, by Zukunft, a warning like:A further wrinkle is that in an MMO the problem is not only what language the game is in, but what language the other players are using. If they (from my perspective) added all the EU servers to the list available on my client today, and I found my way onto the French server, I could probably figure out from context and layout what most of the buttons and menu items do, but I wouldn't have the slightest idea what any of the players were saying. My knowledge of French doesn't extend very far beyond "hello" and "I'm sorry, I don't speak French," and I would probably spell those wrong.
Quote:This server's native language is German. All the players here speak German, and your client will have German instead while on this server.
(As I have no knowledge of German and French beyond a few phrases like "hello" "goodbye" "Do you speak English?" "Where is the bathroom?" and "I love you", I used Google's translater.)
Frankly, I would love to be able to roll alts on Union and Defiant. I'm running out of room! -
